358/2 Days A small detail that confussed me. *slight spoilers*

Okay, so on day 356, I think... the Organization sends Roxas out to the Cave of Wonders to set up a device in the Lamp chamber. I really have no clue what the point of that thing was. I mean... I saw it again during the battle with Xion, so I figured that those devices determined where Xion went while in her armor form? That didn't make any sense to me since I didn't think the Organization was planning all of that out, I mean it was obvious they wanted Roxas and Xion to duke it out, but I don't think they were planning exactly what Xion was planning. If that makes any sense at all, which it doesn't to me.
So... does anyone know the point of the device thing?

 

I think they expected Xion to do what it did. I mean, they did make it.

 

Well there were 3 of them, each set up at the location of a keyhole. When I first saw them I thought it was kinda like a device to get data of the keyhole, and I asumed Xion kinda.. I dono stole the data it had of sora, in order to change forms.

 

So basically they actually were planning on all that to happen. They set the devices up and then sat back and watched the fireworks.

That is an interesting theory. Like the device basically decided what form Xion took. Am I getting what you're saying right?

 

It was meant to program Xion to have different forms.

 

That kind of makes sense. Did you figure this out or is there a site I can go to read more about that?

 

Could the devises have some think to do with her teleporting places & the form was just a adapting process the organization installed.

They were to absorb memories of Sora from those worlds and use them to boost Xion.

It was for her eventual battle with Roxas so she could get a boost and take him down. When Xemnas dragged her off after Axel brought her back, he gave her a new 'body'. Hence also her form during the battle.

 

Confused on this too, but I thought it was for that purpose.

The organization knew this was going to happen and set them up to amplify her powers.

 

They could've let them at each other in various ways like they tried to before. This was to make sure this time it'd work.
