I was going through Roxas's part of the game just now and thought about if they had any other meetings (they being Roxas and Namine). Even if they didn't, i wrote about one anyway :) Enjoy! “Namine…†Roxas put a hand on her shoulder, to stop her from pacing. “You’re going to wear holes in your shoes. What’s wrong?†Namine let out a long, deep, drawn out sigh. “It’s getting about that time,†she said, looking at him with tears in her big blue eyes. Roxas furrowed his brow. “What do you mean, about that time?†Almost instantly, he sank to the ground, a jolt of pain having seared through his brain. It was another one of his headaches, one of those that gave him a seemingly-endless flow of pictures that, when finally stopped, left him choking for air. Before being pulled under, he heard Namine yell, “Roxas!†“No… maybe you’re going to sleep,†Axel was saying to him. They were sitting on the clock tower, eating the sea-salt ice cream that Pence, Olette, Hayner, and he enjoyed so much. He stood up to look Axel in the eye, but fell off the tower. Just before he hit the ground, he was back at the White Room in the Mansion. “I have a right to know.†He was saying. DiZ looked at him with piercing eyes. “A nobody doesn’t have the right to know. Nor does it have the right to be.†He shuddered, which started him falling again. In front of him now was a giant white pod. Slowly, with a sound that indicated air being released, the pod unfolded. Inside was a boy with spiky brown hair, whom he knew from his dreams to be Sora. “You’re lucky, Sora,†he heard himself say. “Looks like my summer vacation is… over.†Gasping, he came back up. Namine threw her arms around his neck. “Are you okay?†She whispered against the hollow of his neckline. “Yeah,†he murmured, breathing heavily. He broke apart from her and turned towards the window. “Namine… what’s happening to me?†She looked down. “I- it’s not for me to say, Roxas.†He sighed, feeling queasy from his recent headache. “I think I have the right to know. If you can’t tell me, who can?†She shivered, and opened her mouth to say something. A portal appeared behind Roxas, and he found himself being shoved out of the way. “Namine. Haven’t you been warned enough?†Roxas heard the voice of Axel inquire. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the portal. Fight back, Namine! Fight back! Roxas thought, panicking. She struggled against his firm hand. “Let me go,†she said, her voice soft but deadly. Momentarily stunned by her resistance, Axel paused. She ripped her arm from his grip and backed away. “I have to tell him, Axel. He can’t not know!†She turned towards him with grief stricken eyes. “Roxas! Sora… he’s waking up…†This was all she managed before Axel put a hand over her mouth. “Be quiet,†he warned, and pushed her toward the portal. She didn’t even resist this time. Roxas watched, unhappy, as she was dragged away from him. His last thought before the anger took over was, I won’t let them hurt her again Next time, she won't be taken away.
Okay, since obviously nobody liked it enough to comment... I tried to write part 2 less... well... cruddy. PART TWO Namine, shaken and as angry as a nobody could truly be, she turned to Axel once they had reached Castle Oblivion. “What is your issue?†She yelled at him. “You were told to keep your mouth shut. You didn’t. And so, you face the consequences.†He turned to face her, his intense green eyes staring into hers. “Namine. That’s the way things work around here. Got it memorized?†He started to portal, but she threw her arms up. “Stop! What if I choose not to follow this game? What if-…†“Axel, you can leave now,†a voice said. “Ah, Marly,†Axel murmured, before leaving. Namine’s heart sunk to her knees. Marluxia? No, no… “Namine, Namine, Namine.†Marluxia stood in front of her now, his hood up. He put a hand on her shoulder. “You aren’t acting in our best interest.†She looked up into the hood, seeing piercing eyes. “So what if I’m not? First, you make me take down memories that should’ve been left alone. Then while I’m suffering from the guilt of that, I have to live with…†A guilty tear ran down her cheek. “I have to live with seeing Sora inside of Roxas every day. And you don’t know what that’s like!†Marluxia took off his hood, and a couple rose petals skimmed Namine’s nose. “No, I don’t. Because I’m not a memory-arranging, nobody, witch. And I suggest you stop complaining.†She shook her head and clenched her fists at her side. “Marluxia,†she hissed, “did you ever think, for one minute, that I may just be your downfall? The moment you become physically involved with Sora, I could rewrite even your memories. And I am not a witch. Even if that’s what DiZ calls me, even if that’s what my abilities distinguish me as, even if that’s what you amount me to. That’s NOT what I am. It’s not!†She backed up and grabbed her sketchbook. “Insolence! What are you doing?!†Marluxia yelled at her. She narrowed her eyes, but didn’t look at him. “Putting things back the way they should be!†She pixilated out of the room, to Kingdom Hearts knew where, leaving Marluxia to burn in his own flames. “Ah, Namine. I’ve been waiting for this to happen.†She stood before him, shaking, tears running down her porcelain cheeks, sketchbook in her clenched hands. “Riku!†He called, and a man in a hood came out of a dark portal. “Namine here… I think… you should tell her the truth.†“The- the truth?†Namine whispered, and a choked sob escaped from her throat. Riku looked at her, then pulled off his hood. He held out his hand to her, but she stepped away from him, fear and distrust in her crystal eyes. “Namine… I think it’s time you knew the truth,†Riku said. âœThe truth about how you came to be… how you exist… what you are.†Another sob escaped from her as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and guided her to the pod where Sora, her part Somebody, was lying.
Before I even read chapter two, there's one thing I'd like to point out. In KH2, Namine is working for DiZ and Riku, not Organization XIII.
Aww crud, i see what u mean But... well... it doesn't have to follow the storyline, you know... it can be different... i'm not trying to plaugerize square enix, i mean, thats illegal. So i can write things differently.
Despite some inconsistencies that don't align up right with the game, it is really good. You could just explain things a tad bit more. Other than that, great. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Thanks guys =) Yeah, but what i'd like to continue with doesn't exactly... fit... some people might not like what i'm making namine to be... or have, if u get my jist... So i might have to re-think chapter/part 3.
