It was a she. And no, I didn't. I don't like the person, and that would have involved extended interaction, not worth it.

 

You know I have a few Doctor Who shirts but I wear them for social anxiety reasons, not really to broadcast my love and fandom to any who glance in my direction. For people who have trouble meeting others, like me, wearing a shirt like that can help you strike a conversation with someone.

 

That is also a factor in my wardrobe choices most days

 

People still use lunchboxes?

I only have two DW related shirts. No lunch box. I don't like lunch boxes.

My fandoms and my shirts are one in the same, and my love is not solidified until I have physical proof of my dedication on my top.

 

Nothing that I wear is of anything that I like. I wear button-ups or hoodies and khakis 100% of the time, I don't really care to wear t-shirts that have things on them.

 

I remember wearing a Kingdom Hearts shirt and then this guy was like "Aw yiiissss" and we fist-bumped. Strangely, I never saw him again but I knew we were hella tight. :F

 

The only special shirt I've ever had is my Death Note shirt, but it got a hole in it because of extended periods of wearing it. Now I just have my Dark Knight Insignia shirt. And tons of shirt from my old college because they were practically giving them away when I was a freshman.

 

YEah why didn't you say hi I would have said "hi, you have a cool shirt where did you get your lunchbox because wow that's a fabulous lunchbox"

 

Because I don't like Dr. Who myself, or at least I've never seen it. The logical thing to expect would be for her to return my statement asking me something about my enjoyment of the show, and it would have been really weird for me to say something like "Oh I've never seen it myself, I just know what it is and know people that like it."

I NEVER REALLY GOT INTO THAT, BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN, I SUPPOSE.

 

I've found a similar use for my favorite hat. I was just sitting in the hall waiting for class to start when some girl told me that she liked it, caught me off guard, and kept going before I could say thanks. It was really confusing, but I think I made a new friend.
