Of how it should be talent, not looks, that make a musician or band great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z0h1NNk1Ik Here's a clue, she has beaten the online record for most views =]
She is everywhere recently, and I do love her voice. However I will probably be shot for this, but whatever, I think that in some ways her popularity comes from the fact that she isn't your typical run of the mill chick in the manufactured music industry, like, if she had a voice like that and looked like the stereotypical singer, then I don't think as much would have been made over it. Or am I just being way too cynical? Either way she has an amazing voice.
It is certainly possible. There are rumors that they kind of already knew how good she was and set it up. But they do that with most of them, and she is an amazing singer. I just hate seeing singers who are seen as better than they actually are just because they are pretty. Looks mean nothing in the dark, but a singing voice can ring out in the black <3 (LOLOL I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I JUST SAID =D)
How poetic xD though I do fully agree with that, and I also agree that looks =/= talent. There IS too much emphasis on appearance with regards to talent, but then that is the same across all of society, (which is ****ing ******ed). I just think that sometimes it goes the other way too, that a talent/ability can be hyped up too much because of not being the conventional stereotype. It would be nice if humanity wasn't so shallow, but hey, that's humans for you. We suck.
Same. It's almost like you would find it on broadway. btw, it hasn't broken the record for most views, the zombie kid who likes turtles has 10 mil.
She's got 43 Million and on the most viewed it says she's behind some HSM2 thing but it has less views.
