A Nobody's Mai

Xiam is a secret Nobody that was made during Sora and Riku's journey through Castle Oblivion. Zexion found her, and helped her learn about where and what she was. Bearing a mace and one of Zexion's lexicons, Xiam controls the Pearl element, a different element in which the King also can - interestly enough - control. When the two remaining Nobody organizations learn of Organization XIII's return, they team up to learn the dirty secrets they hold.

My name is Xiam. I have long, straight red hair, and Iâ€™m a newborn nothing known as a â€œNobodyâ€. Another Nobody told me that we really donâ€™t exist. We canâ€™t feel anything, he said. But I can feel things. Happiness, anger, sadness, hope, powerlessâ€¦ I can feel all those things. Maybe, just maybeâ€¦ these things could be possible.

The nothing that told me we didnâ€™t exist was a member of the infamous Organization XIII, a group towards reaching an unthinkable goal â€“ to make nothings like us feel. What was I in this situation? There was no such thing as a cross between a nothing and a somebody; I had no heart. And I didnâ€™t know where to start if I were to become a member of the organization â€“ a goal I valued to have.

Except, by the time I botheredâ€¦ Only two members existed. Roxas and Namine. Well, at least, I think she was a member. She seemed to be around Roxas a lot.

Now, Organization XIII, or II, in this case, was trying to tame the lesser Nobodies. Roxas and this female nothing were working towards an impossible goal, as well, but they quelled the Nobodiesâ€™ lusts. But really, why does a nothing appear to exist when it really doesnâ€™t? It wouldnâ€™t be an illusion; otherwise my old friend Zexion, previously Ienzo when I knew him back in the old days, would have been the leader of the organization from the start. He disappeared a terrible disappearance â€“ another member, Roxasâ€™ friend, Axel, sacrificed him to strengthen a failed puppet that yet another member, Vexen, had made. Where was that puppet, anyway? I could turn it over to the new organization, but it wasnâ€™t a lead worth following.

I had my own little group of nothings to look over, anyway. When the worlds started disappearing in the past, many Nobodies, even Nobodies of worlds, scattered across the universe. Some of them came into my possession, thankfully.

As the leader of this little group of Nobodies, I had a pink mace as my weapon. Knowing that I think I feel things, I have come to believe that I could control emotions â€“ not just othersâ€™. Except, my power was one of the most vile of them â€“ I could torture others with said emotions to the point where they cannot feel anything in the nerves, or in which the said nerves fail or are injured. I also control the Pearl element â€“ a ball of light that can be conjured by my mace to do harm to my enemies.

Being the vice-leader, or second in command, the ever-so-loyal Urkix. She had shoulder length blue hair, and was the shortest of us all. She had the coolest weapon, too. Urkix had this disc-like thing that could change into a lot of things. She had the ability to distort things physically versus optically, unlike my dear friend Zexion. With this disc, she could fly; transform it to almost any weapon she desires, except the only think she cannot change is its color.

Jixor, number three of the four of us, was the toughest, but he was still a scrawny little thing. He had the ability to project force fields of multiple kinds and manipulate things with psychic energy. Jixor had the tiniest weapon â€“ a wand, ironically. He was a fan of long hair, and there was plenty of his odd pale pink hair to go around. His hair reminded me of Marluxia, a rather manipulative member of the organization Zexion declared his hatred towards. I followed suit, of course.

Last but not least, we also had Xendji. He was the oddest of the four of us. He actually had a keyblade, something I really wanted. He was a great user of meteors that could come out of any rip in space he could conjure, and that was normally what we relied on if we wanted to escape without risk of being attacked whilst teleporting. Also, Xendji was a great offense, and the kindest of the four of us. He had short, flat brown hair, and his golden eyes were a pair that I couldnâ€™t possibly resist but to stare into.

The four of us were great friends, even as Nobodies.

Recently, I have tried to get into contact with Roxas. A little luck â€“ I managed to get a message from Namine. Roxas was wondering if the two of our groups wanted to merge together. It was something to think about. But I told Namine that Roxas should consider co-leadership between the two of us.

I resided in an abandoned mansion in the world of Twilight Town. Our base served home here as Roxasâ€™ did in Hallow Bastion. Our base would never move; we loved it over here in the midst of twilight. It was truly was an astounding place. But Iâ€™ve always thought Roxas might deny this place due to the emotions I have sensed in the computer room down in the library basement. Strangest place in the mansion, but I could tell Roxas had been there, and he had an odd confrontation with a computer. But we managed to fix it, thankfully. It was a really cool computer, too â€“ it managed to connect with not only in the other Twilight Town, but also a computer in Hallow Bastion. Thatâ€™s how I got a connection with Namine.

Iâ€™ve heard from Namine lately that her and Roxas had gained an odd ability â€“ to go beyond their original selves, being Sora and Kairi, and do whatever they wantâ€¦ But the oddest thing is that they can still remain wholeâ€¦ And I was jealous.

How I wish I could meet my original selfâ€¦ My name, before I became a Nobody, was Mai. I was raised and taught by Zexion, who apparently had â€œinheritedâ€ a castle when I came into existence. I never joined the Organization, as I had said, due to its inactivity when it was in my interest. When it was, I had also learned that Zexion had been eliminated.

It was truly a pity, thoughâ€¦ My emotions were real. I knew Namineâ€™s and Roxasâ€™ were real, no doubt. Namine was the Nobody of a Princess of Heartâ€¦ And Roxas was the Nobody of the Keyblade Master. And yetâ€¦ my original body could hold no key, and it was not a princess of anythingâ€¦ I do wonder, time-to-time, if Mai is out thereâ€¦ would I be able to see her?

If Namine and Roxas did, I had a chance, too. But Kairi was brought back when Sora sacrificed his heart, and Kairi brought Sora back by hugging his Heartless, thus the heart returning, and Sora came back, reincarnated, in a sense.

But I had three amazing friends. What else could I worry about to keep them in shape?
