Elm Street - 30 Years After The Original A Nightmare on Elm Street

A young man by the name of Max laid in bed, preparing for yet another sleepless night. He sat up and took another sip of his coffee and took his laptop out of the case next to his night stand. He logged into a chatroom and began talking to his friends. After about 20 minutes of talking about girls, he recieved a private chat invitation. "FreddyK123?" Max mumbled in curiosity. He opened the invitation and was taken into a private chat.

FreddyK123: "Hello Max"

Max was shocked. How did this man know his name? He typed a message.

YoungStud: "who r u??? how do u know my name???"

A minute later, Max recieved a reply. His blood ran cold.

FreddyK123: "Open your closet door."

Max looked at his closet. He carefully got out of bed and took small steps towards his closet door. His heart was beating quickly as he reached for the door knob. He quickly opened the door and looked around. He moved around clothes and other junk, but found nothing. He closed the door and went back to his bed. He typed a reply.

YoungStud: "nothing there"

Max recieved a reply. He got extremely nervous and confused.

FreddyK123: "How are you sleeping, Max?"

Max typed a reply.

YoungStud: "sleeping? im not sleeping"

FreddyK123: "Do you know who I am?"

Max just began to make a connection. Freddy... that was the name of the man that haunted his dreams. Freddy's face suddenly appeared on Max's laptop.
"What's wrong, kid? Cat got your tongue?" Freddy laughed as Max dropped his laptop on the bed and backed away into his closet door. Max was blasted away as it was busted down. A familiar man stood in the doorway.

It was Freddy Krueger. Max stood up and backed away. "F-F-F..." Max couldn't finish the name. Krueger laughed maniacally.
"Freddy?" He said in a slightly mocking tone. He advanced on a startled Max. "Trying to get rid of me? Do you think that if you don't sleep, i'll just go away? Oh, no no no... that's not how it works." Krueger had an evil grin on his face as Max crawled up on his bed and backed up against the wall. "You see... Max... the only way to get rid of me..." Krueger showed Max the knives on his glove. "...Is for you to die!" He stabbed Max in the stomach with all four of his blades and slashed upwards, cutting Max open. He the grabbed Max's leg and swung him against a wall. Krueger laughed again at the sight of all the blood. Max was obviously dead. "Been nice knowing ya." Krueger laughed one more time before vanishing.

After being trapped in the pits of hell, Krueger made a deal with the devil. If he gives Satan 20 souls in 2 weeks, he can come back from the dead forever. The children of Springwood must not allow Krueger to get those souls. They must survive.

Gender: Female
Personality: Always tired, but alarmingly calm. She feels the need to protect others, but in desperate times may get a bit rash with her desicions. Being an insomiac, this tends to make her feel distant, and space out. She never remembered when she started being an insomiac, and always has trouble remembering her dreams, even if they are nightmares. She usually mumbles during the little sleep she has.
Appearance: A pale olive skin with a normal build for a girl her age, though on the lighter side. She is a tall 5'10", but usually slouches. Has dark circles under her eyes.

Personality: A very brave individual; but is still scared of Freddy. He barely gets enough sleep because of his nightmares. He tries to be as optimistic as possible but he gets discouraged easily. He will do anything to help/protect his friends.

Apperance: He has an average tan; regular build for his age. He has dirty-blonde hair and blue eyes with a gold ring around his pupil. He stands about 5' 5".​

Personality: Logical, believes that Krueger is the product of his stress. He has a great fear of Krueger and hardly ever sleeps.
Appearance: Has black hair that is slicked back. He is very tan and has deep blue eyes.

Personality: A very mild individual. She hardly ever talks. Krueger is her greatest fear. She refuses to sleep alone. She is Jason's sister.
Appearance: She has blond hair and a light skin complexion. She has blue eyes like her brother.

BIC: Jason was in Krueger's boiler room. It was an all too familiar environment. He could hear Krueger's laughing. He was close.

Rose was in Jason's room, wide awake next to him. She had no idea anything was wrong with him.

 

Anita spent her night, again, on the computer, and reading her books. The night she favored a mystery novel, turning the pages to go on. She looked ultamitely bored, listening to her low volume music, low enough to hear the outside noises, even some tinier ones. Flip(ooc: any idea what sound a page makes when it turns? It'd sound silly as shwoop~ xD; ) another clue, and even more drama. She huffed drowsily to her soft piano music playing in her buds. She yawned, her time for an hour's sleep would be starting soon.

 

Jason looked around. He took two steps forward, then stopped. He heard a screeching sound. Jason turned around and saw Krueger. He was paralyzed with fear.

Krueger stopped a few feet in front of Jason. He said nothing. Krueger just stood there with an evil smile on his face. He finally spoke. "What? No hello? I am deeply hurt, Jason..." He put the blades in Jason's face. "Let's make this quick. So many children, so little time..." Krueger raised his arm, about to strike Jason down.

Jason finally managed to get a hold of himself. He screamed.

Rose looked beside her as Jason started screaming. She shook him. "Jason! Jason! Wake up! Please!"

Jason finally awoke. He stared at Rose. "...Him again..."

Ondia was making herself another cup of coffee. She felt her eye lids dropping and for a brief few seconds she fell asleep but she quickly shook herself awake. She knew even If she was asleep for a mere few seconds Freddy could easily hurt her. The switch flipped up on the coffee machine. Ondia grabbed the coffee and took a few sips.
“I need to-“again her eye lids began to drop “Need to stay awake†she muttered to herself.

 

Alex was too scared to sleep. He took a sip of a 5 Hour Energy and typed on the computer. He saw that Anita was on but noticed that her status was away. 'Well, I really need someone to talk to right now to keep me awake.' He thought. Then he quickly turned his head. Ever since the nightmares started, he felt like someone was always watching him. He opened up an IM window.

Ameilia thudded into her brother's room,throwing herself at him,"Jamie! he was in my dreams again! he ...wants me dead James!"

James patted his sister's head "Its Ok Amy...its ok...you can stay in here tonight...I'll wake you up if you have a bad dream...I see him in my dreams too..."

"Oh, James doesnt he frighten you?"

"No." yes,obviously.

 

Ann heard the ding of an im, she looked at it, then raised an eyebrow. "Someone's up at this time of night?" she mumbled. Setting down the book, she typed a quick im

He shuddered at the thought. He glanced behind him again. 'Coast clear.' He thought.

Anita furrowed her brow, what could cause someone to not sleep? Better yet, who would want to hopefully wish for little-to-none sleep, like it was now a gift from the Great Diety itself? Now she wondered if her hour 'sleep' would be wise to skip.

Appearance: Dirty-blonde medium length hair, regular weight and height, and a moar muscular build.

 

Ondia flicked through the pages of a magazine she already had read many times before. She sighed as once again she turned to the last page. Just as she did her mum stepped into her room.

“Oh come in mum! The doors only closed for my privacy” Ondia snapped. She would never normally speak to her mum like that but the lack of sleep had made Ondia grumpier.

“Still up?! Get to bed missy!” Her mum demanded while flicking off the light switch followed by a slam of Ondias bed room door. Ondia felt her chest go tight. She hated the dark ever since the nightmares began. She was going to have another panic attack which as well first occurred when the nightmares started. Ondia could swear she hear Freddy’s chill to the bone laugh it seemed to be getting louder and louder for each second she was sitting in the dark.
“N-no!” Ondia shouted as she dived for the light switch. Click. The light was back on. And Freddy’s laughter could no longer be heard. Ondia focused on breathing as she slipped against the wall and down to the floor.
