Traditional Art A little something before departure..

So since I had slim with time, this is what I did as a contest entry for SiliceB's contest on DA - she has loads of characters, and I liked this one:



Guy's name's Akeru, he's a vampire hunter and happens to have the abillity to turn into a dragon. And after what I read, he's a stalker for one of the other characters of hers. XD Apparently he's a tall and sly person, half evil or something..

I'll put it up on DA soonish, just curious about your opinions. :>

Geez, I'm glad you're not in our family contest. I don't think I would've stood a chance!

I love the way you made the dragon appear like a spirit, or ghostly image. I'm really going to need to practice with photoshop if I'm going to keep up with you. The lights are really good as well!

The only problem I have is the shadows of the steps the guy is standing on. I think they should be a little bit darker.

Airbrushing on photoshop would be a real pain in the *** in my case, but meh. You're right about the shadows, it's not nearly as deep tonewise as it could be - but I got too lazy. X3 *gets shot*

Title suggestions?!?! I suck at titles for pictures.

Airbrushing? Huh, I'll keep that in mind.

Titles? Umm...let's see...we're dealing with a dragon who can turn human...who hunts vampires...it sounds kind of lame, but the only thing I can think is, 'Dracomorphosis'. Sorry, titles aren't my thing.
