Chapter One
Destiny Islands

The sunsets were always beautiful on Destiny Islands. Sora missed everything about them, having lost his home a year ago, he'd learned that he was the Keyblade's Chosen, and had also met Royal Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy. Together the three traveled to many worlds to find their friends as well as save all the worlds from the Darkness. Until they finally reunited with their friends and were all home.
Sora looked at where Riku was sitting on the paopu fruit tree, then at Kairi, who stood beside him. For a long time, Sora really, really, REALLY liked Kairi. Having been apart a whole year, had made their feelings for each other much stronger. Now they were together at last. And Sora wanted to see what happened next.

"So, I heard that a new family moved in yesterday." Riku said, as the three walked towards their boats.

"Really?" Sora asked, it had been a while since someone new came to the islands.

Riku nodded "yeah, I don't know who they are or where they come from. But my mom thinks their from a city...so I guess she met them." He said.

Kairi played with her necklace. "City...wow." She muttered.

Sora shrugged, "maybe we'll find out more later!" He said.

Riku got into his boat. "See you later!" He called, waving.

Sora waved, then turned to Kairi. "I'll see you." He said.

Kairi hugged Sora tightly. "Yeah." She whispered.

Sora let his arms wrap around her. They stood in embrace for a few minutes longer, before going to their boats.

not bad. you should add paragraphs, in between speakers and when a new idea comes up. theres an example at the bottom. also, Link seems to be a bit out of character. sure, he never speaks, but nothing in his actions suggest that he would use someone for his own personal reasons. maybe to save Princess Zelda or the world, but thats about it. he also seems like a jerk. just saying. also, Vaati is an evil wizard, not a demon. Link fought him, like, twice. try Ganondorf. hes always fighting Ganondorf.

"Hello Kairi, how are you?" Sora replied.

They spent the afternoon talking, then went home.

for ease of reading, use double spaces when seperating paragraphs. your readers will love you. read some other fanfics for other (better) examples.

 

heh, i forgot to paragraph. whoops. ive always wondered what would happen if Link and Sora joined forces. and link isn't a jerk the whole time. he's one right now cuz he's ticked off.

When Sora got home, his mom was finishing up setting the table.


"Hi, honey!" She said cheerfully.


Sora hugged her. "Hey, Mom." He smiled.


"I got dinner all ready, so go wash up, okay?" Iyra asked.


Sora nodded "yeah. Be right back." He hurried into the kitchen to wash his hands.


Returning to the dining room, Sora saw his dad sitting and reading the newspaper.


"Hey there, Champ." Cyril smiled at him.


Sora sat down, and started to eat.


"So, I met the new family today." Iyra said.


"Really?" Cyril asked, curiously.


Iyra nodded, "yes. There's Michal, Lesyl, and their two kids. Jura and Aya. Jura is sixteen and Aya is thirteen. Maybe you can show them around, Sora." She said, giving Sora a bright smile.


Sora nodded "sure, why not." He said. Jura and Aya.....they sounded nice.


Iyra beamed "good." She said.


Cyril looked out the window for a second before looking at Sora. "So, how's Kairi?" He asked.


Sora looked up "she's doing great." He said, smiling,


"She hasn't been over in a while. You should invite her over sometime." She said, thoughtfully.


Sora nodded "yeah, I'll ask her!" He promised.

His parents smiled, they liked Kairi and enjoyed having her around.


Sora finished eating, "I'm going to bed." He said, getting up from the table.


Iyra nodded "okay, good night, sweetie." She said.


"Night, Sora." Cyril called.


"Night." Sora said, going upstairs to his room.

And soon fell asleep.

Morning came, and Sora left for the play island. He didn't know if Riku and Kairi were already there. Before he left, he noticed two new boats at the dock. *Must be Jura's and Aya's.* He thought as he left.


Once on the play island, Sora noticed he was the only one there. He walked off the dock and onto the sandy beach. It was pretty quiet, but then it almost always was. Therr wasn't alot of kids on the play island. Mainly it was just him, Riku, Kairi, Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka. But it was alright.


Sora looked up and gasped. Someone was on the bridge! Worse, it was someone he didn't reconize at all!


It was an adult, walking away from the paopu fruit tree.


Sora instantly took off towards the bridge. But once he reached it.....the figure was gone. Vanished into thin air.


Sora's eye's widened. "H-hey...where did you.....go?" He asked out loud. No response.

Sora hurried up to the bridge, and looked in the sand for signs of footprints. Oddly....there weren't any.


"Huh!?" Sora jumped at the sound of his name, he turned to see Riku and Kairi waving at him. Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka had also arrived,


Sora hurried over to them "hey guys." He said.


"What were you doing up there?" Tidus asked, suspiciously.


Sora froze. He wasn't sure if he should mention that he had seen a strange figure a few minutes ago.


"Oh...I..was..uhm....just...uh...well...ahhh...." Sora couldn't form a sentence.


"What's the deal Tidus?" Riku asked.


Tidus huffed "well....it's just wierd seeing Sora staring at SAND!" He pointed out.


Sora kicked the sand "well...." He started.


"Hey there." An unfamiliar voice said from behind them.


Everyone turned to see two kids standing by the dock. The boy was tall and tanned, with wavy shaggy dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes. The girl was fair skinned, with wavy blonde hair and the same dark brown eyes as the boy.


The girl grinned at them playfully. "Hi!" She said, cheerfully.


Sora smiled back "hey. You new here?" He asked.


The boy nodded "yeah, I'm Jura, and this is my little sister Aya." He introduced.


"I'm Sora, and these are my friends, Riku, Kairi, Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka." Sora said.


Aya bounced "nice to meet you!" She bubbled enthusiastically.


Jura smiled weakly "she gets kinda hyper sometimes." He whispered to Sora.


"So, where did you come from?" Kairi asked, as the group thinned, and Aya had went to play with Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka.


"Chopper City." Jura answered.


"What's it like?" Sora asked, not reconizing the name.


Jura shrugged "it's a huge city, full of lights, motorcycles, vehicle races, and latest technology." He said.


"Sounds cool!" Kairi said in amazement.


Jura smiled at her "it is." He said.


Sora looked back at the bridge, where he had seen the stranger. Who was it? What did they want? He wondered.


Sora didn't notice the look in Jura's eyes when he talked to Kairi.


"So, how long have you guys lived here?" Jura asked them.


"Forever." Riku said, nudging Sora.


"Huh!? Oh! Yeah, me and Riku have been here since we were born." Sora said, snapping out of his thoughts, temporarily.
