A Being without Soul or Heart

These creatures lived among the earth as it was still young. These creatures, and even humans that lived under this name- The Non-Existent -Displayed extraordinary ability and powers beyond normal human comprehension. their main power was to be able to copy and use the ability's of other that they had seen at least once. This did not mean that they could use the ability to its fullest, and because they did not, they trained hard and fought even harder. The one thing that they lacked were emotions. They lacked the essence of a heart and had no souls as well. When one perished, the memory of that dead one quickly faded from memory-as if something dose not exist, their should not be any proof of it ever doing so-. The body's left nothing, not even the clothes they wore at the time of their death. When one was born, they inherited the the powers of not the mother or father, but of another Non-Existent that had passed. Somehow, a great war started among the many Non-Existent. The race was nearly wiped out. The last of those that survived carried the race on by breeding with other creatures on the planet. The power's, however seemed to be lost forever...
Today, the year: 2012, the date, 11/28/12 is where our story starts...
You and your friends board the bus as usual, and your morning starts out like normal. Your half way to school when you go completely blank and pass out. You awaken to a area, a great void in which you see nothing but grey. You realize that you can hear a small, familiar, nice, yet stern voice. High pitched, yet gravely and rough. The only words you can make out are "You must return to life, creature of nothing."
You wake up, and realize that the bus has been destroyed and you are being lifted up on a splint into a ambulance. You hear one of the medic's say that they have a live one over here before you pass out from the injuries you have sustained. You awaken again in a hospital next to your friends who were on the bus and some people you have never seen before. You ask a nurse near bye if he knew what had happened and he answers "Bus engine explosion. They have been happening so much today that they arrested Michel Bay before they suspected any one else!" His stupid attempt at humor was very sad and bad, but you laugh any way to save his feelings. Weeks later you find out over 95 buses exploded that day. No one could figure out why the buses exploded and said that the engine must have over heated the gas and that is why the bus exploded. The bus company was bankrupt in a few weeks as you healed up and recovered from the explosions. Months pass when you finally return to school. You talk with your small group of friends when Silver, the most popular of the group walks away. You decide to follow him, for one reason or another. When he stops, you are at the outside of the school, or at least he is. You stand right behind the door and begin to hear Silver talking to someone. When you beginning to understand what he is saying, you notice someone is behind you. You turn to see some of your friends behind you. You all listen to the people talk.
"Okay, I'm here. Now what do you want so I can get Kat back!" One of your friends note that Kat is Silver's girlfriend, although you already Know this.
"We want you to come with us. And only if you agree will we possibly leave her unharmed." One of the men with a coy and cat like purr in his voice said
"You sick bastards!" Silver sounded furious, but you didn't hear him run at them... Do you run to help or do you run away?

No god mod/power playing
No control of other characters besides your own. You can have limited control of NPC's
You cannot use any kind of weapon at this point in time
Your character cannot preform any kind of action that the average human cannot (I.E: Jumping off of a 50 foot building into the ground and getting up alive) If their human.
No killing of other characters unless specified
Keep things PG-13, except on swearing, which I do not limit any more that what the site limits, just no racial discrimination based words, the word "R e t a r d e d", or personal insults. Pleas try and keep the cursing down for my sake though.
Plot twist and romance kept at minimum. Plot twist are welcome but not a hole lot of them or anything that throws the story off balance.
The battle system is the basic RPG turn style battle, if you and up in a fight with another player, please note that if your character looses, they may or may not die and that is my, not your decision to make for the story.
Only one Character per user, if your character dies you can make another, but they will have to wait for the next Arc.
