2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Mascots...?

So, the 2010 Olympic mascots for the winter Olympics in Vancouver BC were revealed yesterday... and there are many mixed feelings about them.



Let's see... there's...

Sumi:

- Metro Vancouver (Apparently he also enjoys hot cocoa...)

Quatchi:

- Metro Vancouver (He also seems to like photography, traveling, and all kinds of food...)


Miga:

- Metro Vancouver (She also enjoys snowboarding, and her favorite food is salmon...)

and...

MukMuk:

- vancouver2010.com/mascot



So, as you can see, those are our mascots. Some love them and believe they represent BC (as well as the rest of Canada) perfectly. Others believe they're wanna-be Pokemon rip-offs and better represent Asian culture, other then BC.

Myself, I am un-decided. I am kinda diggin' the Sasquatch, but still pretty neutral on the subject.

They're cute in a my-eyebrow-is-twitching kind of way, I suppose... are there always mascots for the Olympics? I feel rather uneducated now. The video was rather annoying though.
