    Holy crap, it's been quite a while since I've seen some still life art around here... In fact, this may be a first.

    Still life:
    I see what you mean about the vase - one of the greatest challenges in still life art is to shape an object that is round and hollow, like the vase is. Even the most advanced will have trouble with that, my teacher told us that. I love the feel of shine you have created, and I love the roughness of your strokes. The more unique style the better the result. :3 You probably already have been taught this, but when shaping the top ot the vase you should make the "edges" with lines something like these to create the feel of perspective: \ ___ /

    A really nice painting! I can't really give you any tips about oil painting as I use acrylic myself.

    The portrait sketches I honestly can't say anything about other than they look so wonderful! Very nice use of the lines.
