This is actually very recent, with the second video below being from October 6, 2013. The teenager may be 15 now, but I'm not sure.

This will take almost two hours to watch, so watch these videos when you have time. It's important to watch these from start to end without skipping to give a solid opinion, because this happens to a lot of children, and it's not something that should just be put on the back burner. I mean, it's not something as simple as my mom and I arguing because she asks me to turn the music down or whatever, it's a serious issue. I bet that teenager would say that what my mom and I go through would be like paradise for him, because my mom and I are nowhere near as bad as that.

Anyway, I don't really know what to think, mostly because I wasn't there and therefore don't know the whole story. I'm sort of neutral, but I think I lean more toward him being with his father. In both videos, the father remained completely calm, aside from the crying, because that's technically not being calm, at the end of the second video, but I completely fathom where he was coming from and therefore don't hold it against him.

In the second video, the mother was also calm, but in the first video she got really upset toward the end. Personally, I think the teenager did handle some parts wrong, although it's understandable because he was frustrated. He's upset with his mother and step-father because they're always yelling, but the teenager does the same thing and yells a lot at his mother in the video; his mother even says that the "yelling" he's talking about is him. However, as I said, I don't know the full story because I wasn't there, so I'm just quoting what she said. Basically, though, I'm saying I think he overreacted a bit in some parts.

The only thing I really have an opinion on is when the one lady was talking to the policeman at the end and was all hysterical. Now don't me wrong, because I do understand how stressful something like that can be, but she was acting as if he died, which was definitely not the case. As I said, though, I understand that everyone in support of the teenager being with his father, including the biological father himself, was upset and frustrated because of the court order that said the teenager had to go with his mom, I just think that one lady got a bit too dramatic.

    Anyway, what are your thoughts?

I would love a summary of what happens. Don't really want to watch two hours of worth of videos for something I know nothing about.

You really should watch it, as that's the best way to understand it. However, I found a more in-depth article on it:

Reading that, I'm more in support of the father now.
