Is it really worthy of being censored? It's not used that often, and when it is used, it's not such a loaded term. Besides, a curse word is a word all the same, and I don't think that "bastard" should be censored.

    Thoughts?

As far as I remember from the censored words, they were all listed by members that were seen as inappropriate words at some point. And I don't think after reviewing the list recently that it's worth removing from said list.

The shaky factor of these censors is that a select few of them, the word in your example included, are quite contextual. That being said, ******* is used legitimately in a number of actual words and contexts such as "******* sword" without a negative connotation and I suppose that could make it a justified reason for being taken off of the censor list. However, it perhaps depends on how frequently one would need to use such words as well, and how not all fall beneath it. For example, "bastardization" is free from the censor.
