Ⓦelcome to the Mystic-Shine Forest​

You are born in these woodlands and raised in different bands of the tribe known as 'Norreeplith' (meaning 'Scared to the Forest' in elven tongue) There are 5 different bands you could have been born from;

Eagle Band, the blacksmiths of the Norreeplith tribe
Bear Band, the gathers & hunters of the Norreeplith tribe
Weasel Band, the scouts of the Norreeplith tribe
Scorpion Band, the warriors of the Norreeplith tribe
Carp Band, the healers of the Norreeplith tribe​

When members of the band reach age 128 (equal to about 19 human years), they are sent to do a final task for the band before becoming a true member of the elven tribe. If they complete the mission and are still alive, they are moved from the small settlement they were born in and move to the tribal village known as 'Rilynghym' ('house of the forgotten ways' in dark elven tongue) Which is ruled by a chief who makes sure everything is okay, such as amount of food, the people's happiness, the safety of the forest and so on. Currently the Norreeplith tribe is the only one in the Mystic-Shine Forest. Though in time more tribes might come along as well as tribe-less elves or drows looking for a tribe to belong to... Where might you stand in this forest anyways?

Rules

No power play, auto-hit, controlling other's character(s).
Homo-friendly role play and I encourage any type of romance!
Keep things 14RPG, there are children on the site so watch yourself!
PM me your sheet, then I edit it into the character list
Post at least 2 lines+ if not more, no one lines ever
I understand you got homework and work but post often!
If you join, don't just abandon everyone, no one likes that...
Tell me if you'll be leaving the RP for good or if your taking a break.
3 Characters is the limit per person so you know.
Follow basic site rules, I shouldn't have to remind anyone.
I will kick people out if they break rules and think it's funny.

OOC: Posting so the thread starter can begin the RP.

 

Luethar was in the village center, currently listening to a random elven healer speak with him about things such as the increase in animals devouring things like lavenders and chamomile. It was a common factor that went up and down. Luethar saw another one come up to him telling him of the new elves soon to become a true member as well as one passing all tests though young. He smiled and nodded his head to both of them to show he understood and they went away.

Caelanis sighed as he trotted through the forest to get to the main village. She was raised in the weasel band and wondered what sorts of people she'd met at the village. But at the same time she was mixed of emotions of feeling home sick, after all she was leaving the settlement she was born in.

 

Oberon ran through the forest, nearing the main village. Being raised in the Scorpion band, the branches and vines that barricaded his path proved to be no match for him, being broken by brute force. While there were animals blocking his path, he knew not to harm them and simply dodged him. Almost there. Just a little more, he thought. I hate leaving my fellow Scorpions, though. He slowed to a stop to think for a little bit. "I was raised there, after all," said Oberon. "I have so many memories. So many life changing events." He looked up. "But it's my destiny. I must go to Rilynghym." He looked forward and continued on to the village.

 

Shale was walking through the forest with a stern look on his face since this was the village for him to start his journey. As he was nearing the village, he patted himself to check if he had all of his items then he started to smile a bit. Shale quietly entered the village then he looked around at all the other elfs.

 

Caelanis started to pick up pace and leap through vines, avoid branches and grinned. She didn't want to be the last new elf at the village today, so she figured she should get a move on. Caelanis would run over any surface almost, no matter how slick, damp or frozen. It was just the way the weasel band got around after all, when she got to the town she huffed a moment to catch her breath.

Luethar was walking around the village as he saw one of the new comers, enter into the village. He smiled lightly and wondered when the rest would have it, or if they ever would. The chief of the village went on walking while waiting to see how many would come in the next hours or so...

 

Oberon kept running through the forest, seeing the main village straight ahead. Yes! he thought. I made it! He stopped by the gate, panting, and saw another young looking elf who looked out of breath. "Hey there," he said. "You new here too? My name's Oberon."

 

Striding proudly through the forest in direction to the Elven Village 'Rilynghym. He rested his left hand on the hilt of his side-arm sword as he stepped clearly relaxed and beaming with pride. In the nearing distance he sighted simple forest animals such as squirrels and spoke aloud, "Even animals know to avoid warriors of high standing". After passing the curious animals he could see the village in the distance.
