I've never played COM or RE:COM, but it happened RIGHT at the end of KH1. There was barely any time spent there...maybe a day or two for a time line? At the end of COM is when Sora get's put in that egg thing and hybernates for a year. When he starts to wake up is when KH2 begins.
Except Namine! Even more reasons she is special dang it! Haha.
^^;; well,yes, there are those. I haven't really finished KH2 yet, so I don't have them all. I'm actually only on my second time around the worlds, but I've watched all the cut scenes and pretty much know what happens. I guess I'll just have to read them xD. It just suckes that I can't get them in the game in order. I'll read through them all...kh-vids has them don't they? *goes to look* Know I've found sites in the past with them. But still, I understand the nobody thing, Namine just threw me for a loop when I stopped to think about it xD. Couldn't figure out how in the world she came about other then from Kairi =3
ok. This nobody thing is just too complicated sometimes xD. There needs to be a book just for KH2 to go indepth on the whole Nobody/heartless thing. And if there is, then it needs to be translated! Haha. Guess I just always saw it more as the Nobody/heartless coming about after the heart was given or taken away. So Namine came about when Kairi gave her heart to Sora, but then when Sora freed Kairi's heart, he gave up his own for that short amount of time before Kairi brought him back. Wah, my own idea's are getting jumbled into the explanations ^_^;; And hey, the old Disney movies before Pixar had a lot of death xD. Lion King anyone? That went on the whole guilt trip of "YOU KILLED YOUR OWN FATHER!" haha. Bambi...ah, I can't think of many more at the moment, but it always seemed mentioned in some way. Anyone who saw Lion King 2, the evil lioness's song about how she was going to kill Simba and basically torture his daughter while Nala watched was a little on the dark side. Haha, of course, I guess that would just gloss over the younger kids heads. *shrugs* Anyways, I digress! haha.

That makes sense. And I understood Riku not having a nobody. My conversation actually started with me friend with her saying "So Axel is Riku's nobody, right?" I was like "Erm...no...I thought You'd played the game before..." Then I started wondering about Kairi and Namine because I couldn't quite piece it together with them xD.
^Ok. I was talking with her some more and then thought about maybe Kairi becoming a heartless when her heart went to Sora so we got Namine. It kinda makes sense...except that she never changed forms. She was just kinda...comatose. Hm. Thanks Angel <3
Right. So I was talking to my friend who hasn't played any KH but know's the plot enough to read the fictions. Anyway, she asked me to explain the nobodies and I did but either I was missing something, forgot something from KH1, or I found a plot hole. So, Nobodies (human forms, like Axel and Roxas) are made when people with Strong hearts become Heartless, yes? So, I remeber Sora becoming a heartless and why, thus we get Roxas. But when did Kairi become a heartless to get Namine? Unless I am forgeting or missing something. Did it have something to do with her heart being in Sora's? Anyone think they can explain that to me please?
I ALWAYS get Sora! It's not a bad thing...but...ALWAYS! This quiz is rather...odd. And all of the questions were based on KH2 ._. I haven't played it yet.
Now that I have finally beaten KH1, I guess I see what everyone was saying with it being boring. I was more frustrated with the fact that I kept dying over and over. After beating the first flying Ansem everything was rather pointless and easy. Maybe it was so hard for me because I was never good with flying xD.

The COM manga, I get that it isn't exactly like the game. But does it explain just as much? Like the cutscenes from the Re:COM that I just finished watching, is it like that?
Um...for those saying that the last battle in KH was so easy...can you pm me a trick or...something? o.o The first three parts are easy enough, (First ansem with ghost heartless, Giant Heartless boss, Ansem with Ghost heartless thing again,) But how the heck do you get passed the flying one? I have died so many times. And why is it so long! I can not play a game for five hours straight! As of right now, I do not particurally like the last battles for Kingdom hearts >_> Haven't started KH2 yet.
Actually, with the right editing, I think they could squeeze it in. I mean, a lot of the time is game play, and that can easily be cut down, I would think. As far as the plot, that could still be communicated. If they keep it simple and stick to the main plots. -Kairi getting kidnapped and having to save her while looking for Riku.(A plot) -Riku being taken over by darkness and having to save him and Kairi (B Plot) Even in the game, only a few of the princess were shown being captured, right? And there are a few scenes that really wouldn't affect the plot at all if removed entirly. (All of worlds like Tarzan and the Colloseum could be wiped out. Hell, even Atlantica and Agraba if you didn't mind cutting out Jasmine getting kidnapped. Oh, and I think they could cut out two, maybe three of the five finall Ansem bosses at the end! How many hours does THAT take up on it's own?! s***. Still trying to beat that at the moment ) Granted, you would still need a skilled director to pull it off. Of course, that's just what I think. Either way, I'd just love to see this CGed like FF was. I haven't seen it, and don't know the plot, but I was still amazed by the graphics. That had to be a b**** to work on. If it wasn't done like FF though, I probably wouldn't check it out =/. Actually, wouldn't it be interesting if they just made the whole movie in Riku's point of view? That would get rid of most of the hassle trying to work the worlds in. Only problem would be people not knowing what was happening with the game, but again, if done right, they could almost redesign it like that and explain it from the beginning, only in Riku's view. Would call for a new script though...wow, I got long winded. Sorry ^^;;
As far as the hair color, take the lighting into account. It looks like the whole scene is a slightly darker tone, so naturally the coloring of anything in the scene would have to follow suit, ending in a darker hair color. Brown can look black in the right light, or lack there of, rather. But I think It's a given that it's Kairi.
