Yeah I know what you mean. I keep being forced to got to school where I learn almost nothing and am extremely bored. I get told that homeschooling isn't a good idea because I won't get the social experience but how is it helping me to go to a school where almost everyone hates me and I get bullied all the time. Also just because i'm only 14 means I shouldn't be able to make my own choices. I see how it works. Everyone gets free will but not until you're 20. Are you not human until then? I know several younger people who are more intelligent then lots of adults I know.
Not really. Saying kids don't have the emotional knowledge that adults do is ridiculous. Rejection - kids are often rejected. They are rejected by crushes. They are rejected by parents who leave them. Depression - there are places designed specifically to deal with kids who have depression. Many kids have to go to counciling for depression including myself. Hardship - are you saying kids don't have any hardships. What about kids in Africa who are starving and have to get jobs at young ages? Even kids in richer countries have hardships.
