Thanks for clearing that up, maybe I just thought the song seemed fitting. Anyways the new Christmas Town music is great, I cant imagine anything else playing there.
The ones I've been listening to the most are Fate of the Unknown, Rage Awakened, and The Other Promise. They're my favorites at the moment. By the way a quick question.. I got the OST after Final Mix+, I had just passed the part in the game where Goofy supposedly dies. And after listening to Rage Awakened, it seems to me that the song plays while fighting alongside allies before finding out Goofy is alive. Anyone else remember if it plays at that time?
First off, I have to say great job on posting this Kanji. While reading this, I was pretty much in awe. This is because about around a week ago, I started to write down my ideas of this next game and what to expect. In your grand theory here, nearly all of my ideas and beliefs are touched on. And this is good to see in my eyes, mainly because I am a fan of your "Awakening" ideas. For a while now, almost all of your posts that I have read have been about the "Awakening", and I'm not going to talk about that really because I completely agree with it. But what I will say is that you tied these ideas up nicely in your theory, something I was on the verge of doing. Now, one of the main ideas I had going on around my head, and that I was going to post of before reading this thread, is that of what happened in the past will happen in the future. Many people forget, that Nomura has stated that in a sense, the secret videos take place both in past and future. I also believe like you that Fate of the Unknown takes place in the past, and Sunset Horizons takes place in the future or perhaps represents the future. Reason being is in Fate of the Unknown, the three keyblades Larry, Aqua, and Ven pickup in Sunset Horizons, are never seen. Also the sky is much darker in Fate of the Unknown, and we never see the oncoming person in Sunset Horizons. The reason I say Sunset Horizons could actually represent the future is this, the intro videos to both KHI and KHII. I think it is clear to many that these videos are filled with symbolism that portrays events in the games. So to me, Sunset Horizons shows what is to come for Sora's story. Remember that Nomura says "Kingdom Hearts" IS Sora's story. I think that is a clear reason why this next game will not be called KHIII. So something I want to add to is what I expect. In this next game there has to be a cliffhanger to lead on to Sora's story. This cliffhanger will be revealed by learning that there is still a part of Baldy around, so he will return OR perhaps Xehanort's Heartless will return for a final battle type deal, leading to the next true Kingdom Hearts game (KH3). Like you said, Tales of Future Past, the story will repeat itself, Sora, Riku, and Kairi take up arms to eliminate Baldys essence once and for all. Except unlike the past with Larry, Aqua, and Ven, they will not fail. Now some random thinking: Sora can mean sky. Ven can mean wind. Kairi can mean sea. Aqua means water. Riku can mean land. Larrys name could be derived from Solum or Terra?
The orb battles in which you fight the members from CoM.
To be honest no one knows for sure, he could be saying it either way.
I must say, that is wonderful thinking Kanji! A truly great post you have there! Now you are surely right about Xehanort, his Heartless, and his Nobody. They were all seeking greater knowledge, one way or another. There is no doubt about that. Now for those who have "awakened", being the fourth type of being, very possible. It seems as if they have put much emphasis on "awakening" in Final Mix+. Xemnas searching for the "Room of Awakening". The room in which he did not build. Xigbar telling Zexion that perhaps this is where the other "Friend" is. This Room of Awakening will probably play a big part in the next story. Surely we will learn of its purpose.
Actually, Nomura was asked the question of the time frame for when the "Sunset Horizons" video took place. (Question was asked when only the original video was only out.) Nomura stated that in a sense, the trailer took place both in the past and the future. So he wasn't talking about the game itself, just the trailer. It was asked in a magazine I believe, although I cannot remember which for it has been a while.
I'm pretty sure there isn't any new ones, but I could be wrong.
I sent you a pm, but I'll post it here as well. I need to know your method of saving the file onto your memory card. Reason being is that it is saved as a Codebreaker file as of now, I can change the file easily to another device file such as Action Replay, Gameshark or any others. EDIT: Alright heres the link just incase for anybody else,http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VSGBFCK9
Remember that Kairi's name can mean ocean, and Naminé's name can mean ocean wave. Also remember how Nomura stated that one of the Knights, could be related to an existing character we know. (Not an exact quote, but was somewhere along the lines of)
The Kingdom Key's keychain is that of a Mickey Mouse Head.
Well, I may do it later today when I get back. But are you sure you do not want to play through Sora's story? It's rather short, you could beat it in a days worth of play time.
I'm not really sure, the scene is definitely confusing like Nomura said it would be. I kinda got the feeling, as if I were to go to a close family members grave, and speak to them and tell them how everything has been going. That's how I interpreted that scene.
Yea, it looks like it, there is just too many empty spaces. But I think what gets people confused on if its not empty if this: Its just part of the armor, like the greaves or something.
No need to apologize, it's good that people are speculating and theorizing on the videos! It's what Nomura wants us to do, isn't it?
Nice pic Riku, and thanks for posting the similarities thir13en. She definitely looks like Kairi and Namine. By the way, I think it is clear that both the Keyblade and armor seen in "An Old Friend", is that of the Female Knight's:
The third symbol Roxas drew, very well could be a crown, I'm not denying that. But that drawing has some curves in it, unusual to the standard Kingdom Hearts Crown. The crown that often appears in Kingdom Hearts has no curves in it, and is straight lined, as you can see in the logo: And who knows? Maybe it's a coincidence that Roxas is covering up the majority of the symbol. Or maybe Roxas isn't that great of a drawer, and cannot draw a straight crown. But what I do think is that if the armor symbol the knights wear, is not resembling a crown somehow, then it is an "M". And that "M" surely stands for something, such as what they call themselves, or maybe whatever it is that they fight for.
I posted that observation in a thread yesterday (http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=9204), but good job HeartlessNobody if you noticed it yourself.
I managed to finally beat Reverse/Rebirth earlier today on Re:CoM. Well, after your final battle with Riku Replica, you meet up with Mickey and DiZ in Castle Oblivion. I have no idea what was discussed, but during the scene DiZ hands Riku an Organization cloak. Riku looks at it and gets a feel for it, then he and Mickey walk off, (Riku with the cloak in hands), to battle Ansem. So that rules out the mystery of where Riku got his Organization cloak, but it still does not tell all of Riku's story.
Well thought out, I like your idea. It seems like it could work out. Nobodies combining with their originals, creating another being known as the 'Chaser', it definitely has a Kingdom Hearts feel to it. Also, Riku's going on's and story is still mysterious, as to we don't know all thats happened to him. He wields the power of darkness and controlled the Heartless, well those are some good conditions to infact become a Heartless himself. He then could of become an original again, met his Nobody after CoM, and obtained the Organization XIII cloak like you said. (Could Mickey have done the same?) Xehanort's Original as the next main enemy, will of course most likely happen. Certainly if one can have a Heartless and a Nobody that are main villains, then the Original should be villain-worthy. But if in Kingdom Hearts I, we faced Xehanort's Heartless, then shouldn't fighting the Original be before Kingdom Hearts? Unless of course Xehanort found some way to separate himself, and leave part of himself behind just incase?
