That is awesome. Is this the result of modding or what? If you tell me how you did it I'd be happy to put some legwork into making a completed boss, even with my limited knowledge.
Hope I'm posting this in the right thread... Just some questions about playing as boses. Can someone explain the issue with why the boss has to be in the same room? Feel free to get technical because I am learning a little about memory editing and just want to know why this issue hasn't been fixed yet, or if it's even possible. Is there really no way around DMA? Can I upload textures or models directly into the ISO? What are the limits?
Yeah, that's what i figured. Flag digits don't usually go past 01 or 02 though I think
Well, you just load the game up, make sure the right emulator is selected on emuhaste, type the codes in on the right, select read ram in the upper left and hit patch ram under the code. Some codes will take effect right away, but for most of them you just go to the next room. 0.9.4 works better with some cheats but at the expense of not emulating the game that well =P
Well, I have the emu version...can ya help me out? :) Edit: BTW, holy crap! What is this abomination? This happened when I used the room mod code for Destiny Islands. It kinda looks like the textures got all scrambled or something. E003FDFF 004DD49C 102B6568 00000001 102B6570 00000002 102B6574 00000001 http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/8135/screenshot001pp.jpg
Sooo, I'm confused, where exactly are the codes to play as bosses like sephiroth and stuff at? Cause didn't neocloudstrife make them for FM at one point? Is it available for the regular KH?
Well, here's a screen shot of someone using the same codes on emu: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?p=2863547 Or are those codes different? That one wouldn't even work on PS2 cause it would BSOD Besides...the codes work using pnach files but not that well cause I can't use a one in the address portion of the code, or it crashes the emulator =/
I just thought about something. I've been trying to use emuhaste on Vista 64 bit , but it doesn't work. Like, I've got it to recognize the right emulator and all but the codes never take effect! Is that the reason?
I thought having anything besides "0" or "2" in front of the code would crash the emulator? That what it does to mine... You know what? I got! :) It turns out that using PCSX2 0.9.6 makes quite a few of the codes incompatible. That same code worked perfectly on 0.9.4 Sooo...now I have a problem because this older version doesn't emulate that well...*sigh*
Hi, I'm totally new to this and was wondering if anyone can help... I'm using the emulator btw So anyway, thus far none of the character mod codes have worked for me. A while back I tried these codes on ps2 and stuff like replacing donald with sephiroth or whatever worked. But now on the emulator I always get a bsod! Other codes like infinite health and infinite jump work fine...some of the character mod codes work, but most of them just bsod instantly :( Why is that? I've tried using both pnach files and a codebreaker 10 iso. The iso seems to work better but still crashes most of the time! I heard the emulator was supposed to handle these codes better than ps2, but it's the opposite way around! My ps2 actually could handle more of these codes D: Soooooo...any help? hehe =/ This could be an example of a code that I tried //Donald Mod=Sephiroth patch=1,EE,01CFA3FE,word,0000008B6 This same mod would work for someone like Hayner but it crashes with sephiroth even though it worked on PS2...
