Doesn't that boss remind you of Gannondorf in his beast form From Zelda: Twilight Princess?
It would be cool, but i think those characters have more of the Twilight Town theme to them than Traverse Town. As for my decision I would go with Traverse Town. There's the secret waterway that leads from the ally to Merlin's house. There's got to be more to Traverse Town then meets the eye.
