Usually when you place a new i-pod in you are not able to sync it with your other one but save the libary that you have. Downloading a new one doesnt delete the songs.

Go to the teachers who assigned you the assignments and ask for a extension. By doing that you have more time to relax. And usually you should be doing 45 minutes on each subject.
