Xaldin then teleported to the area where Sora and companions once fought 1,000 heartless. Just as he was walking two figures appeared before him. One of them appeared very slim while the other one seemed to be a little plump with old long gray hair. "Just where do you think you're heading of to mister? Hmmm?" Madam Mim taunted to Xaldin. "We have been expecting people like you to come anytime" Yzma said. "If you value your lives, you'll move out of my way." said Xaldin in a somewhat angry tone. "Oh no! I don't think we can do that" said Yzma "Yes. We love to play games, so you won't be going anywhere." Madam Mim said eager for a battle. Xindal emerged from within Xaldin and formed into himself. "Alright Xaldin! If they want to play games, it's only fair that there are the same number of people on each team. I'll take on the old hag while you take on the anorexic lady." Xindal said in an insulting chuckle towards the other two. "OOOOOHHH! You asked for it now. You think you're tough with all that armor on? It won't protect you from my power." Madam Mim said to Xindal in a fury. "On the contrary shorty, my armor is impervious to any magic you throw at me." Xindal responded in a chuckle. "We'll see if you can withstand this." Madam Mim said as she transformed into a rhinoceros and charged at Xindal. "You shouldn't be trouble to take care of." Xaldin said as he summoned out all his spears to ready his battle against Yzma. "Looks aren't always everything you see." Yzma said as she pulled out a transforming potion and threw it down at her feet, turning her into an Elephant.
Xaldin finds the information only to read *Once the pieces unite into the Golden Heart, it's power will still remained sealed. Unless one who has mingled between light and dark and wields The Way of the Dawn can unlock it's power.* "This is indeed very interesting, this just makes things tougher. There's only one person that fits this description and the hardest thing is convincing him to do us a favor." Xaldin said. "Just how are we supposed to get his help without any trouble?" Xaldin thought.
Xaldin finds himself inside the Ansem's secret office. "It has been a long time since I have been in this Laboratory." Xaldin then walks into the room with the computer and begins to look up the Golden Heart.
"Alright then. It's off we go. These heartless really must think we're stupid. It's obvious that they are trying to lead us into probably some kind of trap." Xaldin said as he opened up a portal of darkness to radiant garden/ hollow bastion and summoning the Soul Crusher into his right hand, then walks in.
"Hmm. Those things will do anything but stay in one place. It's funny how these creatures are. Someone is playing games with us and a dangerous one at that.
"What do you see Xigbar?"
"Cocky!? You yourself know how pathetic these shadow heartless are. All you have to do is kick them and they disappear." Xaldin responded
Xaldin quickly summoned one of his spears and blocked the kunais. "HA HA. You make me laugh. A shadow? HA ha. This is really a joke. These heartless really are mindless." Xaldin said in a chuckle.
"Oh yes it does. But you sometimes have to wonder how you can cause so much pain with weapons as small as yours." Xaldin said in a chuckle.
"Fun!? One thing that will be fun is discovering the dark force that is behind all these strange things that have been happening recently. Like finding the master mind of all this and ridding them of existence." Xaldin explained.
"Of course it's not challenging. It is only a heartless. What more can you expect out of fighting a heartless?" Xaldin said in a laugh.
Xaldin launched a Dark Firaga in the line of bullets Xigbar was firing, adding a dark fiery touch to his bullets.
"Oh! A heartless. That shouldn't be too hard. Larxene! Would you like to do the honors of taking care of the heartless for us? I would do it, but that would be too easy and boring for me." Xaldin said.
"Another one eh? Do they not know what kind of people they're messing with? It's funny if they think they're any match against us.
"You don't think they've faded back into darkness do you?" asked Xaldin. "Just what kind of dark force are we dealing with here?"
"Alright. I think we need to start looking for the other members."
"Good. How are supposed to get the remaining pieces when they are in the hands of the other members, and we have no idea where they may be at because we haven't gotten a report from any of them in so long. You don't think the remaining pieces have fallen into the wrong hands do you?" Xaldin asked curiously. "I have here what seems to be the finishing piece."
Xaldin turned around to find Xigbar standing before him. "It's good to see you're still around. You haven't had any strange things happening to you have you?" Xaldin asked. "Have you ever wondered why someone's heartless is completely separated by their nobody?" Xaldin asked curiously.
"I wonder where Siax would be?" Xaldin thought to himself. "He probably lost his mind, it wouldn't be the first time that has happened to him. He's always going berserk." Xaldin went on top of the Altar of Naught staring at the Heart Shaped Moon. "I wonder if this golden heart has some kind of connectivity to this moon." Xaldin thought. Xaldin then looked down and saw a shadowy figure near the memory skyscraper. "Either I am seeing things or that figure looks like a shadow of me. This is indeed very interesting. Just what is this dark force up to exactly?" Xaldin did not feel alarmed at the figure down by the skyscraper seeing that they were very far from each other.
Xaldin headed to the room between the Altar of Naught and the Proof of Existence. As he walked in he saw the Phantom heading straight to the Altar of Naught. "What does that thing think it's doing?" Xaldin thought to himself. Xaldin stopped the phantom in its tracks by placing all six of his spears in front of the door way to block it. The Phantom then turned around facing Xaldin. It began readying a death countdown on Xaldin, with only little time left Xaldin. Xaldin studied the Phantom and found that the heart below it was the color red, which made it vulnerable to fire. So Xaldin began to throw dark firagas at it. Then the phantom's heart turned white, which made it vulnerable to physical attacks, Xaldin took this opportunity and summoned the Soul Crusher since his spears were still being used as a block way. The scythe begin glowing with dark power. The phantom begin trying to run from Xaldin, but Xaldin swung his Soul Crusher, unleashing a dark energy wave at the heart, stopping the Phantom where it was at, then Xaldin took another quick swing right when there were seconds away before he would've been gone in an instant. He swung the Soul Crusher with everything he got at the Heart and as it sliced through it, the heart shattered and the phantom begin to fall and disappear. "That was a close one." Xaldin thought as he retrieved his spears back. "Not many are able to defeat that heartless in enough time Xaldin" Xindal said "I know. That's why it's one of the most feared heartless. Many have lost their lives and hearts to that thing. I wonder what the other members are doing." Xaldin responded.
