The Roman Empire was one of the best things to happen to the world and we would be much better off with it back in force. Teal'c did something like this a while back with the British Empire. Thought I'd do one. Anyway, discuss.
...if we all talked in Old English?
You guys have any? I have to go with "The Waste Land", by T.S. Eliot. Very modern, very abstract, very cool. Vuestros favoritos?

Please tell me someone's heard of them. If you've heard of The Mars Volta, several memebers of TMV (the guitarist and the vocalist, in particular) were members of ATDI. They were a particular brand of punk called post-hardcore, which is fairly experimental. Anyone have any thoughts on them?
As a result of the current hiatus of System of a Down, Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan, the guitarist and drummer, respectively, formed a new project, Scars on Broadway. Their first self-titled album came out on July 29. Anyone catch this record yet? Heard of it? Thought about it?
Bull. There's no Mars Volta topic? You guys make me sad. Anyway, TMV is probably my second-favorite band, right behind Nine Inch Nails. Cedric Bixler-Zavala is an awesome lyricist and singer, and Omar owns the guitar. If you haven't heard them, I advise you to check them out. Anyone have any thoughts on them?
Seriously? Nobody has made this topic before? I'm appalled at you guys. Anyway, I love Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor is a musical genius. He never manages to disappoint me with his work. His older stuff was better than, say, Year Zero, but Ghosts I-IV and The Slip, released Monday , kick a substantial amount of ass. If you haven't downloaded them (they're free) go do it at www.nin.com. If you have anything to say about NIN, feel free to do so.

I have a problem with a lot of people here. Why is it that everyone feels the need to impress their ideals onto others? I mean, I'm kinda guilty too, but I'm not like some people. "Oh, Christians are better, oh, atheists are better, oh, agnostics are better..." WTF? Do you think anyone cares? They have their beliefs, you have yours, and as much as we try, we can't make one belief better than the other. So why don't we all just shut up about it?
Who here has an IM screename?
Has anyone ever played the game Croc: Legend of the Gobbos for PC? I have a problem. I have beaten the all the worlds (including the 5th one) and obtained all Jigsaw pieces, but still my file say 96% complete. Anyone know what I'm missing?
Do you guys have a favorite song? Mine is "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" or Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day.
Anyone read this kickin' series by Stephen King?
I pose a question for you: Do you believe in a Dark Tower? If you don't understand what the heck I'm talking about, let me clarify: The Dark Tower, in Stephen King's fictional multiverse, is the center of the universe, and the meaning of existence. What is the truth? The Tower. Now, let me ask my question: Do you believe that the universe has a central point that is not only accessible, but manipulatable, as well? Do you believe that the destiny, the ka, of all things, is intimately connected to this pillar, this marker? I submit to your commentation.
Yo dudz. Just wanted to say hi and stuff. I, um, like KH and stuff... So, yeah. OH! And I have a GameCube and a PS2. w00t!
