This may seem like a rant but it actually was something that came to me after I got done with a test. It's a scratch piece please comment! Remember the lies they told you To make sure you slept at night? "It's alright... Don't cry... It's alright" It wasn't was it? It was not alright when the day turned black And the stars no longer shined! Do not tell me these lies again! I will not listen! Too long in Silence have I waited For a sign. For a rescuer. For you. And did you come in my hour of need? No! Even as the flames of the hate and anger Of my captors, hope did not come. You say you love me. You say nothing can Make you stray. But I saw her. I saw the woman as you Held her hand and touched her cheek. I saw the kiss that brought madness and lust to me. I lusted for your death! But I couldn't kill you. I wanted to stand by your open coffin and laugh. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. I died first. After giving birth to a son you wouldn't accept. Afterwards, I realized You never loved me. I was a cover for another that you couldn't love. Please don't tell me "It's alright!" It is not alright! You let me die because you Couldn't stand to love ANYONE!
