Wow you just reminded me that they haven't done that yet.
This is the same company that refuses to sell the Gamepad separately outside of Japan (and only around three years after it launched)
But for real, I'm so glad the SAO hype has died down considerably. Sailor Moon's a fine shoujo anime, but its only cultural impact was being the first one to hit the US (and whatever becomes popular in the US finds plenty of popularity in the rest of the world; see DBZ and Naruto and Bleach.) Madoka on the other hand actually gives a ton of depth to the genre without ditching its main themes entirely. It's basically the Neon Genesis Evangelion of shoujo anime, which explains why it's not as popular as Sailor Moon; it's going to be divisive no matter how much better we find it.
In America? I kinda doubt it. NOA isn't exactly conscious of consumer wants as far as the systems go.
The problem was the near $10 shipping that took four days after release day to get to me. To be fair, I'm pretty compact as is.
I just got home so I'll boot it up.
Yay
I'll probably be up to play by then. Waiting on a pizza.
So I was playing some of Smash 4's Solo mode at Intensity 9. Holy fuck Solo at that level is not balanced in this game. Smash 4's broken items combined with questionably balanced AI in team fights (most of my allies always seemed to die in the first few seconds) and some objectively bad arenas...it feels like you have to do the cheapest possible tactics to survive 9.
Main reason I prefer Smash 4 to Melee is that I find so many characters' movesets in Melee to just...kind of suck, or are just too weak to compare to the (comparatively very few) tournament mains. One of my mains is Ganondorf, and his neutral special in Melee is near impossible to hit a living player with due to the flinch, while I don't think I need to share how godlike Fox in Melee is due to sheer speed and power. It ain't fun playing against a skilled Fox just because of how much better he objectively is in Melee, and I consider myself pretty decent. Project M is still probably what I'd call the most balanced and thus most fun for both normal plays and competitions. Shame it took a mod team to find that balance, and now development has stopped :\
I might play some Smash today with y'all, sure. Gotta be somewhere around 4PM-6:30PM in Arizona time though.
Zero Suit Samus is one of my mains, and she's a trickier one to use. While she has great mobility, she doesn't have much power at all, and she's easily knocked out. You have to master her mobility, her stun, and her long-range grabs (which can also get you back to an edge.) Samus (with the Power Suit) is much more balanced, trading ZSS's godly mobility and stun shot for better defense, much stronger attacks, and access to projectiles. I especially love her up-smash for knockouts.
I strongly prefer Smash Wii U to Melee. As long as items are turned off.
How would you want that to work? I'm thinking like, 3 votes for your top game, 2 for the next, 1 for the third.
Wait I forgot XCOM 2 is next month shit. That and Digimon are February for me.
Make up a situation that involves glue or some shit in your hair. "Mom you should have seen what this looked like before I dyed it"
There is no issue: I just don't like his films (aside from a few exceptions like Pain and Gain). I simply don't feel like disclaiming each time I post something that's obviously opinion. People can enjoy his stuff all they want, no skin off my back, but I'm gonna discuss it regardless.
Fuck if Michael Bay actually just embraced how stupid his movies could be and went straight up Metal Wolf he'd actually become a decent director again. But this pseudo-serious, wannabe-politically-profound, "let's make this children's cartoon adaptation full of trophy women and sex jokes and terrible plots" shit is why he's terrible.
I despise 13 Hours from the trailers alone. "Based on a true story" yet depicting American soldiers as completely heroic of course.
I just finished SOMA and feel weird about deciding some stances about existentialism. Great game, though some parts were a bit tedious due to what I felt was a bit too simply designed A.I.
