This fight was waning, and good riddance. The battle was taking longer than it should have, but at the very least they were already nearing the end. Numbers were fading fast, and the heartless definitely were looking like easy prey by the decreasing numbers. Tip of keyblade fired up quite literally as D'daear swung the blade at a weakened Hammer frame. Swish! The heartless disintegrated to nothing. Black dotted eyes kept their focus on the enemy. Now that they were this close, losing it was not an option. The adolescent ran up to a group of hammer frames that were busy smacking away at the girders in order to level the building. However, he was intercepted by another hammer frame. The brave heartless came at him with everything it had, trying to by its allies some time. It was a lost cause though, and D'daear didn't really bother to acknowledge its 'heroics' either. Lunging forward, keyblade was brought to the front for a lunging stab that penetrated the hammer frame. The weapon tore right through the hammer piece, and sent the creature to whence it came before unloading on the others. Having no chance, it only took a few seconds before five hearts were sent to float to the sky. 22/75 Hammer frames remaining! Word count: 210 = 11 exp Total exp: 269 exp
Brute force was behind D'daear's arm as he had grabbed a hammer frame by the small head that was a top the hammer body. Lifting it off the ground, he had spun around while dragging it around in order to then throw the creature towards a group of approaching hammer frames. As soon as that had been done, he went back to the defensive. Dodging right, jumping back to avoid a near hit, blocking, and parrying for the counter attack. At one point D'daear thought he was playing a game of dodge hammers. Seriously, they were just throwing themselves one after the other; each miss causing the earth beneath him to quake slightly. When he found a small opening, you can bet your munny he took it. With a nice punch off the keyblades guard, a hammer frame was sent flying towards a pile of plywood that had been neatly placed in stacks; it was a stack no more after that though. retreating right foot behind left; stance shoulder width apart, he grabbed another hammer frame; who had been brave enough to get this close, and bashed it in the small head with the hilt. It was followed up with a nice downward diagonal slash as he brought his right foot forward. Irises looked onward to see the hammer frames becoming a bit more coordinated now that their numbers had begun to diminish once again. They began to dash at D'daear in a V line, almost like ninjas with their arms dangling at the back. Focused, D'daear held his position while placing the keyblades fuller onto his shoulder. Right arm tensed once again as he channeled that same feeling he had back at the start of this second wave. He was going to try to use that projectile attack in order to take this V line down. Waiting for the opportune moment, it arrived when the leader had reached 3 yards (roughly 9 feet) of D'daear. Quickly taking right back behind left leg once again, he took the foot forward while bringing the keyblade down onto the ground with everything he had. A small geyser of light projected out of the keyblades tip, and extended toward six hammer frames out of the ten that were in that V line. The six heartless at the front were eradicated, leaving behind only the four that were still charging at him. 1 Hammer frame 1/3 BP! 35/75 Word count: 398 = 20 exp Total Exp: 258
D'daear was outnumbered in this fast paced battle. It was him versus twenty, and with him feeling exhaust, this was sure going to be one heck of a fight. Talk about a burly brawl. Thankfully, these heartless seemed a bit slower than usual. Perhaps he had his wit to thank for that, for you see he had been whittling away at them, bringing them down slowly prior to this. With brows furrowed, a snicker arose on the boy's lips as he noticed one of them lose their footing as if dazed. Pressing fore feet against the earth, he lunged himself at the said dazed heartless with keyblade ready to stab. In a swift motion D'daear sliced clean through the hammer frame, entering the fray of nineteen heartless. One heart was released. Hand tensed around the handle while keyblade was positioned in front of him in a chudan-gamae stance, or center level posture; where the user stands with right foot forward, body squared toward the opponent and holds the blade pointed forward at an upward angle so the point is level with the opponent's eyes. The sword forms a 30-degree angle from the horizontal line, with the end of the hilt held a fist's width from the navel. Left hand remained free, relaxed despite the anxiety coursing through him. A hammer frame jumped at him, face first and aimed at D'daear's chest. All it took was for him to move right foot diagonally forward in order to side step next to the advancing heartless. With a quick twist of the wrist, the keyblade was set horizontal and ready to cleave through the already weakened critter. A second heart was released upon contact. D'daear stood motionless in stance, arm never wavering as the blade stayed erect after having sliced through the second heartless. Irises looked up to level with the surrounding heartless. Eighteen were left, and it seemed they were growing eager to jump into this fray. One jumped into the air, and began to twirl its hammer head forward like a tossed hammer. Eyes caught it immediately, but upon being distracted, another heartless had taken the opportunity to headbutt D'daear in the back. Emitting a small cry, the adolescent quickly recovered from the pain and got back to stance; just in time to parry the hammer head he had witnessed first. Using the guard of the keyblade, he punted the hammer frame to a stop while feeling the opposing force travel through arm. Being in a fray with Eighteen heartless, the boy had no time to wince or anything. With determination, he plowed through the pain and swung the keyblade upward vertically with one hand while the heartless was still punted in midair. However, he did not stop there. Extending left hand to grip the keylades handle, he pulled the keyblade around while spinning around to build momentum for a powerful swing. Target: the heartless that had hit him before. Swinging it around, the blade cut through the hammer frames head, and accidentally got rid of three more heartless that were trying to gank him. Five more hearts floated to the sky. With a front kick did D'daear send a hammer frame flying back while it gave the key wielder time to parry another incoming heartless. Footwork was key in this battle, and thankfully D'daear still had it despite his ever growing exhaustion. One, two, three hearts were released into the sky. That was ten heartless that were relieved of duty, dropping the number down to ten. The hilt of the keyblade smashed into a heartless before D'daear manipulated position of the weapon, and swung the blade down into a vertical slash. Sweat was pouring out of forehead, but a grin was planted on his face. Sword play was beginning to be easy for him. It was just so natural, the positioning of himself and the weapon. The keyblade truly was an extension of himself, and not just a mere tool; albeit any weapon could replace the keyblade and still becoming that extension that he needed. Frustration level was beginning to wane as he unleashed his fury on these dark creatures. After a good while, ten more hearts floated into the air. Panting, the tip of keyblade tapped the earth beneath D'daear as he began to use it as a crutch while he took a quick breather; eyes averted to the floor. Heartless still loomed in the girders, and a few were making their way to the first floor where Aden and D'daear resided. Hearing the building echo with movement, head titled up in order for irises to look past tuft of hair and into the empty space that would soon be occupied by more heartless. Would more just spawn after they took care of these heartless? What was to stop them from spawning? This was indeed beginning to feel a little like central haven. The exhausted D'daear, the wave of heartless, and the anxiety level that fluctuated in him. It was all the same. Swallowing saliva, he pulled himself together and got ready as more hammer frames made their way to the first floor. "Aden... how are you holding up back there, bud?" he asked halfheartedly; more so from exhaustion than not caring. 20 heartless removed! 47/75 heartless remaining! Using the guard of his keyblade he punched a hammer frame in the face, and quickly swung his keyblade around to smack another hammer frame in the face; it was trying to lunge at him. With quick foot work, D'daear quickly dashed at another hammer frame, and lunged the weapon at it. Tip of blade missed the hammer frame by a small margin, a mistake that almost caused him pain were it not for good footwork. The heartless had cocked its hammer head slightly in order to avoid its demise, and as to retaliate it flung itself forward as to smash D'daear's face. Pivoting off the heel, the adolescent boy moved with the flow of the attack. Hammer passed by D'daear's arched back, the power behind the heartless feeling evident as air spirited in the gap between himself and attack. It was a close call, one that he would have to take a note off as he quickly used the momentum to bash the back of the hammer frames head with keyblades hilt. How did he almost get hit? Was he slowing down? D'daear took a small second to gather himself. Lungs were working overtime as chest expanded to make room for said lungs, the organ gathering air to help distribute oxygen throughout the body. Uttering a sound of complaint under breathe, he looked on to the hammer frames that had gathered on the first floor. Ever since he had done that special thing on the girder, these things began to swarm the area where Aden and himself were. Heck, were it not for Hikaru and the others fighting up top, there'd probably be WAY more heartless surrounding the two by now. However, the amount of heartless gathering here was becoming something that you just could not be oblivious to. Brows furrowed while right hand gripped the keyblade once more, tightening as to gather his fears and anxiety. The last thing he wanted was for the two of them to become overpowered by the amount of baddies. The first wave was easier because he had control of the environment, and his energy was at its peak. However, now it was a different scenario. Once more he uttered a sound of complaint under breath. "These things are beginning to tick me off." D'daear commented, mandible tensing as he tried to gather himself. A heartless jumped at him, swing its hammer head at the boy. The tip of keyblade met the creatures chest, and by guiding the heartless overhead it was sent flying behind the keyblade wielder. A great deal of satisfaction dwelled within the young lad as they had gotten rid of the heartless. With a big sigh of relief, D'daear walked towards Aden and just stood nearby, sponging in the moment of reprieve once more. "Alright. Now we just have to wait for that window to appear." he said to Aden. Fuller of keyblade rested on the boy's shoulders while free hand grasped at hip. He waited, and waited, turning his head around every so often as he expected the window to appear somewhere he was not looking. However, it never did. Confused, D'daear scratched the back of his head. "Shouldn't the window have appeared by now? It did back at the grave yard when we defeated all the skeletons...." he muttered out loud. The earth beneath him suddenly trembled slightly, causing for attention. D'daear quickly looked up to find that there were STILL more heartless. In disbelief, he stared at the hammer frames that persisted. "Oh come on! Now THAT'S just cheating...!" D'daear complained as the heartless continued with their smashing. Averting eyes to the floor, he let eyelids shut over irises as he inhaled and exhaled in a sigh. Mandible tensed as molars gripped one another. A small groan was emitted from D'daear's throat, soon becoming a growl. A vein bulged on his scalp, definitely a sign that he was feeling frustration. With arm tensing, and curled fingers tightening over the keyblades handle, the soldier accepted the fact. "Alright. Fine! You lot want to play it like that, huh?" he said as he suddenly shot a glare up at the dark creatures. Indignant about the heartless, D'daear could feel a surge of power coursing through him. It weld up in his hand before suddenly being channeled into the keyblade. The weapon glowed a whitish hue, without D'daear's knowledge. Curling left hand into a fist, the adolescent ran towards the same girder he had smacked earlier and swung his keyblade vertically down at the metal pillar with all his might. "RAAAH!!" he shouted, bashing the girder. A burst of light shot out of the keyblade, and traveled up the girder like a sharks dorsal fin breaking through the water. This light coursed through the building, splitting up between intersecting girders as to hit multiple enemies. Homing in on nearby heartless, the light smacked into the creatures and knocked ten of the closest hammer frames off a 3rd floor and onto the first floor. They landed all around Aden and D'daear, most likely seeing stars as they smacked into the ground. The creatures were stunned, but that was the least of D'daear's focus for the moment. Irises remained fixated on keyblade as the tall boy was left dumbfounded. "H-how did I...do that?" he questioned, amazed at the neat trick. 10 Hammer frames heartles 1/3 BP 67/75 Heartless remaining! "Alright alright. I'm going, I'm going...geez." Saino uttered to the grumpy man. It was only now that he had taken note of the old man's attitude. Reaching for the door knob, a bell jingled as Saino opened the door to leave, jingling a second time as it closed. Saino stood outside, wondering to do next when he realized he had not thanked the old man for his service! Opening the door again, the door jingled as Saino peered through the gap he had created. "Oh sorry, but thanks for helping me out! I'll by some other time when I have more money!" he thanked and noted. With a cheeky grin, he closed the door again, causing the bell to jingle a fourth time. Outside, he turned to leave when he nearly stepped on a puppy! Thankfully Saino was quick to stop moving. Relief fell over Saino along with a sigh that escaped through mouth. Becoming more aware of his surroundings now, he saw two adult dalmations and five puppies all walking together, passing by Saino's location. "I'm sorry!" he apologized, despite not having really committed anything wrong; heck he even avoided an accident. He crouched low as to look at the puppy that was closest to him. It's collar read: Lucky. Saino encounters Pongo, Perdito, and 5 puppies.
A shrug was expressed from D'daear at Aden's remark in regards to Mickey. "If we find him, he better have a good explanation for all of this. We're all going through some trouble just to find him..." he said, muttering under his breath as to how he almost lost his life. Placing the fuller of the weapon onto shoulder, he walked to Aden's side, relaxed considering how the heartless had nearly been vanquished. He looked up to see a few hammer frames still walking among the girders. There were only five of them left, so taking them out was definitely not an accomplishment that neither of them could NOT do. Giving his own shoulder a tap with the blades fuller, D'daear placed left hand onto hip and contemplated whether to take the initiative for this one. His reasoning was merely to just get this memory out of the way so that they could get one window closer to finding Mickey. But how? Climbing up there was out of the question, and even if he ran back up the crane to reach the height he was at prior to this, there was no floor for him to land on after the initial jump. Then he remembered something he had done before with Luna. Lips pursed as he thought about it for a while, not sure on whether it would be the best idea...particularly for Luna's safety. "Hey Aden... Do me a favor and do what you did with me, but with anyone else who might fall off the building, k? I'll help keep a close watch." he said, keeping his gaze up at the building while walking away. Legs took D'daear to one of the girders that was the foundation of the entire structure; specifically the center. Right hand tightened over the keyblades handle as he readied for his little plan. Furrowing brows, D'daear took in a deep breathe; keeping eyes up, before he thrust his right arm towards the girder. The weapons guard slammed violently into the steel, causing one heck of a vibration throughout the building; because cartoon physiques. Just as it had done before, the building waved its body, shaking off heartless like a dog shaking off the wetness from its coat. Five silhouettes were spotted cascading, becoming more and more prominent until they came into full detail. Heartless were plummeting to their demise, flailing in the air in panic. D'daear's keyblade dissipated with light as he gazed at the falling heartless, shaking off whatever after effect he had from hitting the girder. Indeed those were the remaining heartless that were as good as goners. Beyond that, Eyes saw through the heartless, trying to capture sight of anyone who may have been caught in the crossfire; Luna, Cailyn, Rain, or Krowley. It all happened so fast, and for good reason too! In the midst of falling, D'daear could make out a silhouette that was fast approaching; it becoming more and more detailed as it neared. It did not take long for the young key wielder to realize who it was. "Aden!" he shouted in awe. The good friend coiled his arm around D'daear's waist and cast some kind of spell that allowed for them to slow down; although it felt more like a sudden jerk or whiplash. Air surrounded them, causing loose ends to flutter and hearts floated to sky as heartless dissipated around them. It was a slow mo moment as the two landed safely on foot while enemies were being destroyed. Then as if on cue, time regained its normal flow and Aden went to work like a hero. He froze a couple of heartless close by, and flung his mighty blade at the frozen corpses. They shattered to nothing with two hearts floating into the sky upon release. D'daear remained flabbergasted at what had just occurred. It was quiet for a moment before Aden had realize he was still holding on to the tall boy. Cheeks flushing, he immediately let go and stepped back. “…Y-you okay?” he asked, looking away in possible embarrassment. D'daear tilted his head down to lock eyes with Aden's. Now that he thought of it, he was taller than him by maybe two inches. "Aden..." he uttered softly, gazing away at Aden for the moment. He had been saved by Aden's quick reaction. Had Aden not risked his life to save D'daear, the poor boy would'v been done for! Suddenly, a smile emerged on the tall boy. Raising a hand to Aden, he swung and gave him a nice pat on back. "Thanks man, you really saved me back there. I thought I was a goner for sure!" he thanked, giving Aden a big ole happy gesture. D'daear let his happiness simmer in this brief moment they had between comrades; cheeky grin and all. Of course, moments of reprieve like this were always short lived; in the battlefield at least. Summoning the keyblade once more, D'daear put his game face on. Brows furrowed as he turned to the nearby heartless, giving his back to the brunette in the process. Forearm tensed once again as D'daear tried to harness his negativity into right arm. He was trying to do what he had done in the graveyard; trying to harness that feeling of being indignant. With focus now in play, D'daear dashed forward, not needing the left arm to help swing the keyblade. Reeling keyblade forward, right wrist turned out in order to swing keyblade horizontally from right to left. With a nice blow to the hammer frames flat face, the heartless was sent spiraling towards a group of other hammer frames that were all bashing their heads against the buildings foundation. They collided into a dog pile, all stacked on top of one another like a sa'mich. Wasting no time he jumped high into the air and twirled the keyblade over head as to grip the handle with both hands , now gripping the keyblade as for tip of blade to face the ground. In a stabbing motion, he plunged the keyblade down into the lot of them as he descend onto them, piercing their feeble bodies. Like fire releasing amber into the air, their bodies dissipated while more hearts were released. Snicker arose on the boys lips after receiving Luna's I.O.U. There was really no need for such a thing, but then again it could have just been a gesture, and not something to be taken literally. Heartless cascaded off girders as Luna knocked them aside, setting them up to be finished off. Words did not even need to be spoken for D'daear to act; although they were spoken. "D'daear, you're up!" Luna shouted. With that angry look on the boy's face, he ran towards the area of the floor that the heartless were falling to. Feet propelled the boy into the air once they had rolled to the fore side where the foots toes were. Right foot met with a hammer frames face, to which he used in order to jump off and further into the air. Keyblade reared as D'daear showed the falling heartless his game face, a look that consisted of the usual: furrowed brows and determined eyes. Baring teeth, a heartless dissipated as the boy swung the keyblade once at the nearest heartless in order to be found at the center of the other 7 that were free falling. Channeling what little magic he knew, fire engulfed the tip of the weapon while the keyblade wielder spun in 360 mid air. In a matter of a second the weapon no doubt sliced right through the remaining seven, destroying their corpses. All that remained were the hearts that were released upon destruction. While that had happened, D'daear had already been prepping up the next phase. Since he was already in the air, plummeting, he figured it'd be best to keep up the momentum he and Luna had picked up in this fight. Readying his legs, he landed on the floor with a hard stomp, once again causing the floor to become unstable with waves. Hammer frames were once more sent afloat; although in lesser quantity, flailing their useless bodies in the air. Rising to erect back, black dotted eyes began to scope the area once more to only realize that this floor was nearly cleaned up. What remained were of a dozen more, and a few others that were still a top of girders, all just running about trying to find the proper angle to leap off and smash their blunt ends onto D'daear's body. With a twirl of the keyblade, the strong(forte) part of the sword; where fuller is placed, was rested on his shoulders as he went back to work. Unbeknownst to him, however, that the heartless he had just sent into the air weren't going to fall for the same trick again. As D'daear had his sights set on a hammer frame, the airborne hammer frames all readjusted their center of gravity at the peak height, and used gravity to their advantage in order to swing their hammer heads forward, causing their bodies to twirl like thrown hammers. They obviously had no control of where they would land, but at least they would cause a ruckus by becoming falling weapons that could cause D'daear blunt force trauma if lucky; or worse. As D'daear got ready to swing the shouldered weapon, a whistle suddenly began to get louder and louder. D'daear came to a halt, hearing it come from above as it got closer and closer. Looking up, eyes nearly popped out of sockets as they widened in alert. Not thinking of it D'daear jumped back, faintly avoiding a close call with one of the hammers. The blunt end of the creature smashed into the floor, this time breaking through the wooden floor before causing the floor to become unstable. One by one the heartless smashed their faces into the wood floor as they became falling K.O. tools. D'daear had to be quick on his feet; although being nimble wasn't exactly one of his better qualities; DESPITE being athletic. Of course after this situation; if he survived, he would have to make sure to work on that. He kept eyes focused all the while, beads sweating off of him while making sure not to be squashed by these flying hammers. When the final hammer smashed its head into the floor, that's when the floor gave out. Left broken around it's area, the floor suddenly began to creak as cracks formed throughout, one even passing underneath D'daear to which he noticed. Having been alert, D'daear did not idle. He began to run, trying to avoid the cracks that were still forming. It was so unnerving to him, the sound of wood splintering, the cry of the floor. However, D'daear was more concerned for himself. He literally had no where to go except... Head shook the thought out of his mind. Down was NOT one of the options he wanted. So if down was not the option, then surely up. Eyes locked on to a girder that made up one of the floors corners. Just as eyes set their sights on the girder, the floor began to break apart. With everything he had, beads of sweat began to pour out of him as he dashed forward. Keyblade disappeared from hand as he began to sprint when the floorboards began to fall near him. Oh how he hoped this little stunt worked; it had worked in central haven he avoided being crushed into a wall by one of those big fat heartless. Reaching the end, feet did what they commanded to and began to scurry up the girder. First foot, second foot, thi-! "WHOA!!!" he uttered as the third step slipped, causing him to fall back. Gravity took control of D'daears body now, and he began to free fall down. Face was dumbfounded, unable to register what was currently happening; even though he knew deep down that he was falling through the buildings stories. The air resistance formulated by his falling form commanded hair, and clothes to sway at loose ends while he remained helpless. As he fell, 3 hearts floated past him. Immediately he knew that they were the hearts that were released from those hammer frames that had gotten themselves stuck in the floor. That's when he finally came to terms with the reality: He was free falling towards the ground. 26/75 Hammer frames remaining! 1 Hammer frame 1/3 BP Word count: 600+ = 30 Exp Total exp: 110 exp

Mandible tensed at the sight of Luna literally at the edge of danger. She had done a great job of going through with the set up D'daear had created, and had taken care of the hammer frames that had fallen because of him. "I'm on my way, Luna!" the tall boy shouted. Removing his keyblade guard away from the girder, legs went to work at leading D'daear to Luna; moving as fast as they could to save Luna in time. However, from the looks of things, there were a few heartless already converging to Luna's location, and for D'daear to take care of them all at once was impossible. Complaining under his breath for his own incompetence, mind raced to figure out a way to aid his friend. As he approached the group, nothing came to mind, so he just did what was most natural: To fight his way through them. D'daear leaped into the air, and brought down the keyblade vertically upon an unsuspecting hammer frame heartless, only injuring it as the blow caused the heartless's head to wobble back and forth before it fell onto it's rear end. Footing was still unstable as the floor wobbled slightly from D'daear's landing. Again, D'daear moaned in frustration at this fact. So far his fighting style relied heavily on grounded footwork. If the environment was unstable like now, it was going to cause him trouble. Remaining still for a moment, he wobbled in place while keeping arms somewhat extended outward in order to keep steady. Head turned to Luna while this was occurring, and watched as her hand became barely visible. She was losing her grip on the stage, and if D'daear did not hurry, she would plummet to her end. A bit of ambivalence swayed into D'daear's heart. The frustration that still had yet to be quenched, and this new found desperation to save his friend. This was all to close to what happened to Gaston in Beast's castle. Mandible tensed at the thought of failing to save a friend. There had to be away, he just knew it. A hammer frame heartless launched itself at D'daear's back, and smacked its flat end against the boy, causing him to stumble forward in pain. He let out a small cry before suddenly involuntarily jumping as the floor wobbled a bit violently. As this occurred, eyes took notice mid cry as to how all the other heartless had involuntarily jumped up as well. A light bulb sparked to life just above D'daear's head as an idea came to life. "Hey, wait a minute! That's it!" he said out loud, turning to where Luna's hand clinged to. "Luna, I need you to be ready! It's going to get very unstable all of a sudden...!" the boy shouted for Luna to hear. Not wasting any time for a response, he jumped into the air while swining the keyblade overhead, and just as he began to fall from the peak of his jump, he swung the blade downward; timing it just right as feet touched the floor in order for the blade to slam into the ground. The impact sent a massive shock-wave throughout the floor that compelled it to wobble out of stability. Like a cartoon, the floor had become a massive circular wave of pure kinetic energy, exactly how an earthquake causes the ground to become waves. The wave traveled from D'daear's location all the way to where Luna was; inadvertently causing a few other heartless to be sent in to the air. The wave would reach Luna and snap the girl off her grip and upward onto a nearby girder just above the floor D'daear was; because cartoon physiques. "Hey D'daear, how about a team-up? These guys are getting on my last nerve and I want get rid of them as soon as possible. You up for it?" Head turned in order for eyes to catch sight of Luna close by. Brows furrowed in serious demeanor, but they were intended for the heartless. Still focused on the job, he gave Luna a nod; acknowledging her idea. Now that the two were going to go at this together, things were bound to become much easier. Without waiting, D'daear jumped at a nearby Hammer frame that was slow to move. With a downward swing, the keyblade cleaved through vertically, eliminating one heartless from the scene on this large building. Performing a quick piece of Iado technique, he let himself take a moment to scan the building. There were a few hammer frames scattered about the actual floor that Luna ad D'daear were on, but there were plenty of hammer frames scattered above the higher floors, and some were even traveling along the intersecting girders that made up this unfinished building. Once more, grip tensed on the keyblade handle as he looked back to the floor he was on. A suppressed snicker arose on D'daear's lips as he remembered how the floor would wobble if struck hard enough. If the floor was that sensitive, perhaps the steel girders that held this place together was unstable as well. Hesitant at first, he rushed towards one of the steel pillars once he was ready, hoping with everything he had that he wouldn't be the cause of this building tumbling down. It was a risky idea, but if it worked then he could knock some of the hammer frame heartless off balance and onto the floor D'daear and Luna were on. With everything he had, he thrust the guard of the keyblade forward like a fist and slammed it against the pillar. The hit reverberated violently across the structure, but primarily around the girders closest to him as it was the source of the initial shock-wave. The area around him trembled as the girders shook a few hammer frame heartless off, causing them to cascade onto their floor like a dog shaking off water from its wet coat. Arm remained erect and tense, with guard still connected to the girder he had struck. Quickly turning his head to Luna, brows remained furrowed as he shouted, "Luna! Now!" A magnificent light engulfed D'daear as he laid there with the monochrome picture, only noticing the light last second. He sat up right, trying to adjust his eyes to the new scenery. Everything was blurry, but it was quickly becoming clear where they had been transported. A giant structure loomed over them, and the building was clearly not finished as there were girders hanging by steel ropes. "Huh, so why of all places have we been tran-" "Heartless? Here!" Hikaru cried out. "They're gonna knock the whole thing down! We've gotta stop them before they get the chance!" D'daear quickly became alert and summoned his keyblade. The weapon immediately came to his aid with a quickly conjuring of light which constructed the blade in his hand. Right arm tensed, forearm bulging; although it was a cartoon so you couldn't notice it. Grip tightened itself around the weapon's handle as he brows furrowed themselves with the intense focus of irises glaring up at the heartless. "I'm on it!" he replied to Hikaru's note. Feet went to move on command as D'daear ran towards the building, automatically assuming allies were right behind him. Blade was dragged behind him as he scurried toward the main entrance of the unfinished structure. To be frank, the building was a skeleton if one were to compare it to the human body. Passing by already set girders, D'daear looked above to see the heartless that resembled walking hammers trotting about the intersecting girders that held the structure in place. Quickly, he looked around to see if there was anything he could find to help him get up there. "Oh!" he uttered as he saw a crane nearby which just so happened to be positioned perfect for everyone to climb up in order to reach the higher floors. Without thought, he made his way to and up the cranes long neck. Sure he was running up something he had no idea about, sure he was aware of the distance between him and the floor, but you know what? He was not even thinking of that at the moment. Something inside him compelled him to act. As he reached the peak of the cranes height, he took the final step on the crane before launching himself off the crane and onto the floor. Being athletic, it was an easy feat for him; and all this fighting and running around has only made him a better athlete. With ease the scruffy haired boy landed on one of the floor, where he was met with Hammer framed heartless. With intense glare still at its peak, D'daear only frowned. "So...who's the first to go? I still got a lot of pent up frustration, and you lot are the perfect dummies." he said. Eyes honed in on the nearest one, and without thinking he lunged body towards the heartless. With right arm dragging the blade at his side, left hand reached to grab the handle of the weapon, and with both arms swinging, he reared the blade across the wooden floor before lifting it up for a upward vertical slash. The blade sliced the heartless in half before the creature just dissipated into nothing, and the heart was released from its dirty clutches. The phenomenon had been in question by D'daear for some time. Had Base told him about it before he truly did not remember, but whatever the case he wanted to learn more about it; later though as now was the time for him to clean up the floor. Following up the upward slash, he lightly hopped on tip toes as he worked with the momentum of his swing as to not lose power. He twisted his torso as to allow the blade to swing with him as he turned, and soon the blade was back to the drag positioned he had initially started with. AGAIN, he swung the blade as an upward vertical slash using both hands. The keyblade cleaved through another hammer frame heartless, albeit this time it wasn't as much of a symmetrical cut as the first. The weapon cut a bit out of the center, but nevertheless it stole the heartless's existence, and exposing the heart that floated away into wherever. He did not know why, but he wanted to simmer in this feeling he felt, this feeling of unleashing his wrath against his adversary. All that frustration was just flying away as he unleashed it onto his foes. However, he knew he couldn't. Now wasn't the time for that. Like before, he would have to wait till all this was finished. After having done the second swing, he called forth the muscles in his arms, lower back, abdomen, and shoulders as he twirled the blade over head as to manipulate the momentum being built; else he'd have to stop or go for another upward vertical slash. Twirling the keyblade over head once, he took a step forward and stomped with his right foot forward, and slammed the keyblade a top another hammer frame. The teeth of the key weapon dug itself into the heartless's head, soon tearing through flat end of the hammer. With a nice tear through the heartless, the keyblade slammed against the wooden floor, causing the floor to unsettle. This was something D'daear was not prepared for, but the heartless were. Losing his balance all of a sudden, a hammer frame from above the other girders leaped towards him, baring its flat end at D'daear. Acting quick, D'daear jumped to the side in time to avoid a colossal blow that caused the floor to unsettle even more. The boy's footing was having a hard time finding itself in this sudden chaos. Inevitably, he fell onto his rear end; it didn't help that the floor was still wobbling as if an earthquake was happening. Complaining under his breath, D'daear struggled to rise to his feet, fully aware of the hammer frames that were gaining control of the area. "...Great...one more thing to worry about." he muttered to himself as the floor calmed. This was only making him even more frustrated. 72/75 Hammer Head heartless 1012 words = 30 Exp Total Exp: 30
Saino gave a loud yawn at the dullness that had managed to overcome him as of late. Siting on a bench just outside the restrooms, the lop eared male was laying back with arms extended onto the benches lengthy sides, giving off a bored air about him as he let his head dangling back, exposing irises to the beautiful sky that decorated the atmosphere above. There was plenty to do at the park, plenty of folk to meet, and jobs to take a crack at. Heck, it was not to long ago he had met Winter, Lady, and Tramp. It was not long ago that he had tried his best to show Bill what his moves were made of. A sigh escaped mouth as he lay there, bored. He had made 15 bucks from that gig with Bill. It was a nice experience, and the cash was also pretty nice as well. "Oh wait! I have 55 dollars!" Saino shouted as eyes widened in remembrance. Using the weight of his legs to counter weight his torso, he heaved himself up off the bench and went straight to messing with his magic-band. "Ok ok...how do I access that money..." he uttered in thought as he tinkered with the band. Nothing seemed to be happening. Disappointed, he wondered if the old man at the emporium would no how to work around. Not wasting time, he headed to The Emporium. Coincidentally, as he approached the shop, he saw a Tall individual dressed in a tight black tuxedo with black and white vertical stripes, and a woman with paler skin compared to the man; whom by the way was very thin. Since they were already there, Saino Approached Jack Skellington, and Sally.
Nodding to the trio, the lop eared individual waved good bye to them as he walked away. "So my band can tell me what I need to know?" he wondered out loud as irises gazed at the wrist. Dabbling with the wristband, right fingers went to work on trying to understand how the device actually worked. Index and thumb worked together to pull at the band. Attention remained fixated on the band as he continued to walk off to who knows where. On accident, he somehow managed to do something with the device strapped his wrist because a hologram that circled his wrist popped up. An image lay flat on his forearm with an indicator pointing to a specific area on the map with Saino's current location represented by a dot. Lips pursed in astonishment as eyes widened. It was a shock to see this happen, but Saino's demeanor was calm enough to not exaggerate what he was feeling. "Fire House..." he muttered at the area being indicated. While keeping his wrist up to see the screen when needed, the lop eared person looked on ahead to try to make sense of which building it was he was supposed to head to. As he looked around while following the hologram, he noticed a couple of dogs walking out of an alley. Taking the initiative as to make his life easier, Saino Approached Lady and Tramp.
I'm not sure if it was based on difficulty, but Flowmotion was; in my opinion, the best form of dealing damage to the nightmares. Normal combos did little when faced against waves of enemies, and the deck commands only helped so much before I realized I could still get hit because #EnemiesResistStun <---same goes for normal combos. In the end, Flowmotion was a convenient way to move are the battle field while at the same time staying on the offensive. The shock-wave and screwdiver flowmotion attack was so OP when it came to crowd control.
