It's still a chat room really, and if anything having it hit you when you first go to the forums would encourage people even less to post on the actual forums. I don't think we really have an issue with spam since we have a dedicated section for just random stuff... and it doesn't really make sense to try to cut down on forum activity.

We have never had an official chatroom. People have made their own chats but they were not moderated by the staff nor were they affiliated with us in any official way. The history of those chats if anything kind of works against having them again to be honest.

The subject has of course come up to have an official chat but we've decided against it for several reasons. Firstly, it's of course an added responsibility on the staff to moderate something as fast as a chat... and chatrooms tend to be prone to drama. It's a huge undertaking.

The more compelling and more important objection to it is simply that chats can draw activity away from the forums. Currently our sort of "idle chat" happens in the spam zone... I think that really can serve the purpose of any chatroom.

So basically... it's been continuously rejected overy the years and the reasons behind the rejection are still applicable.

Not to burst your bubble and certainly correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the PlayStation TV supports the Share button.

I really like this idea -- sadly right now you get a ton of hype and info about a game when it has yet to be released, but following its post-release review, you don't hear much of anything about it anymore. And that's natural of course because it's not like new & exciting info is coming out then, but there's still a lot to look at when a game has been released. I hope also that this will lead to more critical analysis of games, which can obviously only be done post-release, and which is absolutely required if we want to treat video games on a similar level to literature or movies (which I certainly do). I also really love the idea of featuring more user-generated content.

Good on Kotaku then, and since they're such a huge site I'll be happy to see other sites follow in their wake.

I think Reconnect might just be a motif for Kingdom Herts 3, and these secret endings "reconnect" the story back together.

That was my guess -- I'm thinking perhaps he was selected for Braig's plan, whatever that may be, and that's why he suddenly got a Keyblade.

    If not then probably Isa.

Our newest media reporter, @Karuta, is hard at work recording KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX for us. Previous posts of the ending have included fan translations and fan subs. By modding the game, we now have an official translation of Re:Coded's secret ending. The video, of course, still has the Japanese audio, but with the very same English subtitles you'll see when the collection releases worldwide this December.

You can download the video by clicking here. We'll have a full archive page up when we have more videos ready to go -- so please stay tuned!

Sorry! Though to be honest, the secret movies really don't spoil much of anything.

It's Tuesday and YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS... !

This week we celebrate the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix in Japan by talking all things Kingdom Hearts! @Misty, @Llave, and @libregkd are joined by @Stardust, @Karuta, and @pink gabr for this exciting episode. We discuss what we're most excited for in the HD remaster, the trophy list compared to the previous 1.5 collection, the likelihood of a Dream Drop Distance HD remaster, the secret movies including in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 (spoilers!), and finish off with some of our expectations and speculations about Kingdom Hearts 3, particularly how Tetsuya Nomura's departure from Final Fantasy XV will affect it.

As per usual we also answer user-submitted questions! @Eric Luna puts us in the shoes of another member, @Graxe has us calculate the Kingdom Hearts universe economy and gives us a unique challenge for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, and @Robiɳ polls us about our favorite Doctor Who companions.

Finally we plug some site news, including a big welcome back to the staff to @Kairi ♥ and a status update on the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 videos.

Everyone please listen and enjoy! If you have any thoughts on what we've mentioned, want to tell us what you're most excited for in either KH2.5 or KH3, or anything else, please reply below!

We'll have to have you on again to get the pronunciation down!

I'm surprised a bit at Fable on the list. I suppose it does have a lot from Arthurian legend and is interesting to talk about in that context. It's a good game I suppose. Not familiar with the sequel. SHOUTOUT FOR KOTOR AYYYYYYYY y'all thought i was just being a fangirl

I don't think I ever really watched the show for the Doctor but more for the companion, until Matt Smith -- maybe because Amy and Rory weren't really very well-done as companions. Don't get me wrong, I love Amy and Rory, but Amy's characterization in particular is just extremely erratic and a wallop of missed opportunities and excessively Doctor-focused man pain. Rory is flat which is okay since he's not really ever a major character. I think that's just how Moffat writes, whereas RTD had the more human element to his run.

Series 4 is my absolute favorite. David Tennant and Catherine Tate have such an amazing (non-romantic!) chemistry together and they hit this fantastic rhythm between humor and drama. I don't think there's an episode in it that I don't like. Series 5 does have a special place in my heart but it's so drastically different than 4 that I find it hard to compare the two.
