I don't really see the point in this. Gender shouldn't matter on an internet forum, so I don't see why you would need an avatar to highlight this which screams, "I'M A BOY/GIRL". Plus this would be kind of moot for people who choose not to display their gender. The current neutral avatar seems fine to me.
I told myself I wouldn't buy into any of the 3DS upgrades since I already have the original model, but I'll be damned if I pass up that Persona Q XL. I actually don't even care about any of the better models that are coming out. This one looks so nice.

Apparently I'm really slow and have since noticed it did say it's another concept of P.T. Honestly, I'm amazed by what I've seen for just being concept work. I actually feel like it'd be a shame if this content wasn't part of the game in any way.
I'm Scottish myself and I'm actually really saddened by the result. I so wanted independence, but in the end I sort of knew this was going to happen. I feel like we're the laughing stock of the world. For what professes to be a proud nation, we become the only country to ever reject our own freedom and independence. Guess it's time to stand by and wait for these "promised powers" that were ever so appealing! Fear over hope is not how I want future generations to be brought up. So yeah, I feel like we're ****ed and just needed to get that off my chest.

I like all of the Dearly Beloved arrangements to an extent, but I would say that my favourite hands down is Birth by Sleep's. When everything stops and it's just the violin solo, it gives me chills. It's very somber and has a sense of vulnerability. I find it very fitting and it really sets the tone for the game.
The Evil Within. It looks like an absolutely stellar game and it's one of the contributing factors that are getting me excited for the survival horror genre once more.
Avalanche (Slow) - Zola Jesus
I haven't actually listened to any of these Punk Goes Pop albums in full, but I've heard a few songs from them. My favourites are; A Day to Remember - Cable Car (Over My Head) Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! - We R Who We R A Skylit Drive - Love the Way You Lie I See Stars - Till the World Ends They're surprisingly good considering I hate the original songs and who sings them, but I think I'm sort of biased since these are being covered by some of my favourite bands.
This is a nice surprise. I was sure they said not long ago that there was nothing in the vein of new bonus material, but they did mention the cutscenes playing a role. This gives an incentive to actually view them. It's also something where the unlocking requirements aren't difficult so that's a plus. I wonder what it will be...
So, we now have a confirmed JP release date of January 22, 2015! (Source) That's a little more than two years since the last main title in the series. I'm glad they haven't continued pumping new entries out every year and can actually put some decent development time in. Also, a new playable human character named Roza has been revealed: Spoiler This is good news as it was believed that Sorey & Alicia were the only (forced) human party members, as it has been confirmed that you cannot have a party consisting of four Tenzoku, thus needing two humans present.
The only thing pissing me off about this is how we now have to wait even longer. ;; I knew this was coming, though. You don't go the best part of a year with absolutely no information at all for nothing. Will probably still buy it for the PS3 as I don't imagine them changing much graphics-wise for the PS4 release. I wouldn't be so sure. P4AU has just come out, and we still have Persona Q & Persona 4: Dancing All Night to look forward to! There's still plenty to milk, and you have schmucks like me who'll keep buying them. ;>
I honestly don't know why they bother. It's clear that anything Xbox related is never going to take off in Japan.
As far as what was revealed in that trailer, I'm curious to know what the whole tip-toeing around in the grass is about. I wonder if it's just to get the upper-hand on a wild encounter or if it's something else entirely?
You're not being berated dude. We're having a discussion about a video game. I'm just failing to understand your reasoning as to why this wouldn't be released on consoles or in the West. You're using Mario Kart and Sonic as examples of Japan's history of arcade-only releases, but that's not how fighting games work. I'm not sure how much of a follower you are of the genre, but fighting games made in Japan will firstly debut in arcades, and this will be the case for months/maybe a year or so until a console release date is announced. I could understand if this was Melty Blood or another niche fighting game for example, but it's not. It's Pokemon in the vein of Tekken, two huge franchises that are popular worldwide. I just can't see them not going all the way with this.
