To be honest, I'd much rather an anime-esque KH series. I can definitely imagine the Disney style working, but I'm just biased towards anime artwork. But yeah, a KH series would be great if they stuck to the story and went into depth with the characters' backstories (the organization's backstories from when they were human, cthe BBS gang's background, etc.). Hell, I'd be happy just to see a SoL of Kairi's hs days in-between KH1 & KH2. What did it do to spice things upbesides not having a BBS manga >:c?
Oh. lol How do I do that? Double click?
Would BBS getting multiplayer in 2.5 HD Remix been worth it if it meant a whole 6 month delay for KH3? EDIT: Holy crap, look at that terrible grammar. Can a mod or somebody change that to "Would BBS multiplayer be worth it?" Thanks in advance.
...
Which method of unlocking the Ultima Weapon did you guys prefer, and which method would you guys want for KH3? The material hunting of KH1 and KH2 or, the defeating of the optional bosses in KH3D and BBS?
THANKS! Much obliged.
Yeah, I agree, stopping people from raping is a lot better. However, teaching people to learn how to defend themselves would also deter raping as well. It's important to also empower women with the knowledge and tools to defend themselves imo. And as far as the whole "a large percentage of rapes are done by male college students" thing is kind of a blurry subject. That's what "Blurred Lines" was about: Where does playful suggestions stop and actual rape begin? I'm not discounting that women actually do get raped on college campuses, but this whole "courtship" thing is kinda tricky. If two people were making out, one suggests sex, but the other detests, the making out continues, then one of them suggests sex again and then the other agrees on the second try, is that rape? I mean, one party coerced the other, but in the end both parties consented. Is that still rape? If both of you are intoxicated, is that rape? If only one of you happens to be intoxicated (not to the point of unconsciousness, and no foul play was involved), is that rape? Even though if you commit a crime while intoxicated, you're still held responsible for all of your actions? If you regret it the next morning, even though you said yes, is that rape? Yes, rape happening around college campuses is a travesty and miscommunication and not defining what is playful suggestion and actual rape is also a part of the problem. It's a personal solution, as opposed to something that will stop it all together, I suppose. It makes sense, but men also put down other men for not having certain characteristics. For not being manly enough. For not being strong enough, etc. Any sign of femininity is seen as sign of weakness in men, which again, is due to this so called "patriarchy" or agenda of sorts. If you're not normal, if you're not the same as everyone else, if you're different, if you don't fit into this mold that society has put you in as a male/female/black/white/spanish/whatever, you get outcasted and discriminated against. My point is that society puts everyone into a mold from birth depending on factors that you can't control (I know your article touched on this), women too, and that's why I like the term "Equalist", because it doesn't put any emphasis on any one group being discriminated against. Labeling myself as a feminist would, in my opinion, mean that I hold women's rights over, let's say, equal rights for black people, which I don't since I think they're both equal. Just like how all these groups that are discriminated against are trying to be: equal to one another. Just my two cents. But my point is that that's changing and in such a way that other's opinions shouldn't matter to someone living in the 21st Century. Perhaps thanks to feminism. But you're completely right.
u gaiz r gross ew Well, in a perfect world, no one should be afraid of getting killed, robbed or raped. But it still happens, even to guys, and **** like that will continue happening unfortunately. That's why people move away to places where situations like that are less likely, or better yet, get protection for themselves. And in a perfect world, people don't put down other people just because they don't follow the norm or whatever, but we're not in a perfect world. So, what do people do when they're with people who don't approve of their lifestyle decisions and put them down? Find a different group of people who will accept them for who they are and change their situation. That's all I'm suggesting. Ehhh, wanna give me the jist of it? I'd rather not read it, and then disect somebody else's words, since it's YOU that I'm talking to. I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to since "patriarchy" is a broad term and it seems like a lot of people just use it as a buzzword, but guess what? Society doesn't have that big of a hold on you. It can if you let it. You can change your mind. You can look the way you want to look. You can learn to be happy with yourself. You can learn to wear what you want to wear. Whatever pre-conceived notions this big bad "patriarchy" drilled into your head can all disappear by making. up. your. own. mind. Your confidence lies within you. Saying "THE BEAUTY STANDARD IS TOO HIGH" doesn't mean anything. Who's beauty standard? Everyone's is different as hell. Girls that I find attractive don't always overlap with the girls my friends find attractive. Society isn't a hivemind. I just wish more women undstood that.
These problems can easily go away by living in safer neighborhood/carrying a weapon of some sort, changing the company you keep, and not caring about what others think...but I do see your point. I agree whole-heartedly. Alternatively, not having a man's self-worth be defined by his sexual escapades would be nice too (not that I'm defending what he did, I'm just saying that there's unjust expectations put onto men as well). Granted. Just please don't talk about "unrealistic standards of beauty". Because that whole argument is just ridiculous and seeded in insecurity.[DOUBLEPOST=1404717691][/DOUBLEPOST] Everyone, please excuse Plums. He's not a real admin, so his opinion doesn't really matter. Misty on the other hand, now that's a real admin. lol Naw, but you make a point.
Alright, I'm glad you made that distinction.
Think like what? Wait, do you guys not understand what I'm saying? I'M NOT AGAINST FEMINISM I'm saying, yes, women do have some terrible hardships and what not, but they also have some privileges exclusive to them that men don't have. And men also have some privileges obviously, but they also have some social hardships too. I'm not a feminist. I'm not a masculinist. I'm an eqaualist. How does any of that sound unreasonable?
Yeah, I know you did, just a little self-deprecation. And I'm sorry you don't understand. What're you confused about?
I know right? I didn't even read Chad's posts. Pssh, what a loser.
!!! I'm sorry, I know it's not haha.
Ehhh, I don't know about all that. lol I'd still like the attention. But again, that's just me. Perhaps this may apply to other men unlike myself. You make some very good points, but it's kinda like a double-edged sword. Women are powerful. Having a ****ing vagina means you're powerful. You can make money off of your vagina, not only through prostitution, but also through being a surrogate mother. Sure, men can be sperm donors, or gigalos, but to a much lesser degree, and even then you'd have to super attractive to make any real profit off of it (when couples look for a sperm donor, they usually only choose the more attractive men for obvious reasons). But yeah, having a vagina means you have power, and with that power comes its drawbacks, like being seen as a ****toy. It's not all good, obviously, but with the things that oppress women also comes an equal amount of benefits as well, is my whole point. Alternatively, think about men and how they're presented in fictional pieces made by/for women. Usually, in these forms of media, men are only valued by how much money they have or how physically strong they are (countless princess disney movies). My point: Sure, women can be seen as ****toys, and it's a problem. But also, men are just seen as sources of security and nothing else. Thanks for posting this, actually. It helps prove my point. Sure, women have it bad because men can go around impregnating whoever they want and women have to sit there and stay pregnant with the baby, which is why women have the selective advantage. But with this selective advantage women have the upper hand over men and can control them to some extent with this selective advantage. You said it yourself, men are hardwired by evolution to go around and have as much sex as possible (to keep the species alive of course). The desire in men to fornicate is so strong that people have died over a dude not getting laid (the Florida guy that's been in the news recently). Women can use this to their advantage and manipulate men any which way they wanted. Also, to go back to the Florida dude who shot so many people over not getting laid, that's another thing: Women talk about how there's a double standard for men and women and how a promiscuous woman is seen as a slut and a promiscuous man is considered awesome or whatever. But what most women don't consider is the reverse of that: virgin women are considered as ****ing goddesses and paragons of purity for not sitting on penises and meanwhile virgin men are considered as worthless losers who failed as men. But hey, my point is that, yes, women have it hard. However, women also have certain advantages over men that women do oversee as well. That's all.
It's a crappier version of Tosh.0, basically. Typical Ridiculousness episode: Typical Tosh.0 episode: Although Tosh.0 does rely too heavily on shock-value humor, it's still leagues above the crappiness that is Ridiculousness.
I think I'll join the group so that I can find out what KHV plus Pokemon equals. I've been trying to find out for years.
My, how concerning. I hadn't consider any of that. I'll be honest, if I got catcalled by some girls, I'd feel pretty ****ing awesome haha. But yeah, if that sorta thing makes you uncomfortable, I can see why it'd be troublesome. Especially if they insulted you right after. I'm a little confused though. Do you not like strangers implying that you're attractive? Or is the more explicit ones that make you uncomfortable? Okay, first of all, both men and women get "objectified". You see them David Beckham underwear H&M ads that's all over New York? Yeah, that happens too. It's just a fact of life: attractive people sell products. That's why attractive men and attractive women are used in ads. And a woman being depicted in a sexual way isn't a bad thing. Humans are sexual creatures and are stimulated by sexual cues. Yes, that's banned in mostly overly religious countries that have misogynistic ideals that are backwards as ****, and that've had detrimental effects on our society, but most of that thinking is considered backwards in the modern day. And honestly, you can't really blame them all too much (okay, I guess you could) considering that the female orgasm was considered a myth until, what, the '70s? So, in a society that thought sex was mostly for male pleasure, it's not surprising that this backwards society would think a woman who enjoys sex is some kind of witch (just like how back in the middle ages, they thought gingers and redheads were the spawn of Satan -- they just didn't know any better). I obviously don't approve of it, but religious conservatism is definitely a huge part of the problem for women due to it's misogynistic backgrounds. Getting half of a man's stuff in a divorce if a prenup isn't signed, you have the selective advantage (and therefore have WAY MORE sexual choices than men), women are generally considered more trust-worthy than men, etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1404699317][/DOUBLEPOST] I'd have to agree with you there. I'd just appreciate it if they stayed out of my social media, thank you very much.[DOUBLEPOST=1404699391][/DOUBLEPOST] Yeah, but that site's for dooorrrrkkksss.
