Alas, the boys have disagreed with me, lol. Sure, anyone can write a good character. I'm definitely not saying that there aren't people who aren't women can write women I can relate to. But I think being personally connected to your created characters makes it all the more genuine and something special. Also, I am well aware of women in the indie scene and being a far better representation there. Naturally, I'm thinking of bigger companies, which unfortunately has a glass ceiling made of diamonds. As for those books you mentioned about, I'm not really a reader so I can't really say anything on that. But I'm pretty sure there are plenty of far more superior female writers out there that don't have that financial success recognition because their books weren't/going to be turned into Hollywood films (of course, being produced by male dominated studios).

Basically I'm with what some people have said in this thread. I personally see a part of the issue being little to no female developers working on the main scripting and character developing/designing. We may be somewhat improving in terms of actual representation for films, video games, etc., but I guess to really write a believable, "strong" female character is to have an actual female create them.
Finally watched the Nintendo Direct in its entirety and all of them Zelda trailers. exciteexciteexciteexciteexcite

Yeah, kinda like with Frozen, they really played it safe with "twisting up" the anti-heroine/antagonist thing and just made her entirely likeable from the start (like, for real, her name almost literally means "to make evil" -____- ), but whatevs, Jolie's great and the effects were cool.
I find Vinesauce to be a decent channel, although they only upload clips of their livestreams on their YT account. They have multiple entertaining peeps that livestream whenever, so I should think there is some variety to their content.

Eh, maybe in terms of tweaking it up gameplay wise... but, at least to me, didn't really satisfy enough from what was lacking in the first game. Plus, they didn't really need to make it an entire trilogy lol But anyway to stay on topic, does anybody know for sure the Japanese VA's at the end? I haven't heard the JP dub enough times to really confirm who was talking to who. o.o
If they were able to make a sub-par sequel to FFXIII twice, then yes. :0

Hmm, I know it's Pixar and all, but the team's look is giving me a Monsters, Inc. vibe, lol. Obviously, too low def to pick it apart, but I hope they go ham on giving it an anime-ish style to the rest of the film, hehe.
