It was unbelievable. Ananta, even after facing a defeat so utter, still wanted to try and get the sword. Yeah, it was brave, but stupid beyond belief. "Wait a second! Will you just listen?!" Apparently she wasn't going to do that. She just kept talking about the plan of him distracting Nequa. He had an idea of how, but he wasn't willing to get everyone on the world brutally murdered by grabbing her ass. Although he made a mental note to grab the ass of that apprentice once he was strong enough to take her down. That was when Ananta, still having not listened to what he said, ran toward the dark corridor trying to grab at the sword. Beuce ran after her, but not to help her stop Nequa. He grabbed her by the back of the shirt, pulled her back, and punched her in the jaw. "ATTENTION CRYSTAL FOR BRAINS! LISTEN TO THE SEXY MAN IN FRONT OF YOU FOR JUST A DAMN MINUTE AND I'LL EXPLAIN TO YOU WHY YOU'RE STUPID AND HOW I'M GOING TO FIX THIS!" He screamed at her. "That girl just completely destroyed everything that went up against her. Even if you managed to get the sword away from her, it's not like she couldn't just turn around and take it right back! This time she might not be as patient with us. There IS NO stopping her from taking it! You can't change that! But, i've got a plan to get them back. If we're going to have a ghost of a chance at taking her on, we need magic as powerful as hers. I know how to get some. It'll take a while, probably across several worlds so there's not really much point in explaining it yet, plus i don't actually know too much about them yet, but i'll find them. Trust me, I'll get Mizu and the sword back."
R looked to Ananta as she stepped in. He nodded, indicating that she was correct in assuming his lack of findings. "Why didn't you mention this before?" He questioned the sage as she lead them to the secret section of the library. Indeed it was an impressive sight. Stacks of books, as well as massive shelves. They were all written in the same language. R picked up a book indiscriminately and opened it to a random page. Darkness spouted from his hand and covered the book whole before sinking into the pages and draining into the letters. Mere moments later, that darkness came back out and crawled its way back into its master. "You needn't worry about translation anymore. As far as i am concerned, these books are all written in the dark language." Said the heartless. He essentially leeched the knowledge of the characters from the book and transferred it over into the language of the dark beings. If such a language existed that this couldn't be done to, R hadn't encountered it. He closed the book in his hand and carefully placed it back on the shelf before browsing through other titles. There were several relating to the keyblade war, the origin of the keyblade and darkness, and a book on the agents. Most of these looked as though they pre-dated the world itself. He looked through them, but none of them seemed to house anything useful. R wracked his mind trying to think of something they could do. Mind...Perhaps there lied the answer. There was one who knew more about the X-blade than anyone ever did. He was even mentioned in some of the books he'd just read. The creator of darkness that had been sealed away by the wielders. If they couldn't get the information from him directly..."Xero, you were held captive at one point by Xindai, no? I want you to take me to his base of operations." "Ya know, if you want to learn dark magic, i might be able to at least give you a base. I'd guess at least that if you know the original spell, the dark equivalent of it would come a bit easier. And we all know that i'm a better mage than Glenny over there ever was." Beuce said as he leaned against the wall and chuckled. The red haired girl apparently was getting some training in before the real fight. This place was safe for now, but with the agents walking around, nowhere was really safe. "Ya know, if we've got enough time for you to train hard enough to do it, i could lend you some pretty powerful spells. After that you can dark 'em up all you like. That'd be kind scary though." Beuce removed one of the gloves on his arm and concentrated. Brilliant multicolor runes light up on his arm. They were a variety of shapes, all leading into one another. Zigzags and spirals, curves, triangles, you name it. On his palm was a solid black moon, surrounded by brilliant white sunbursts. The runes of light and darkness. "Now now, you can bask in awe at my amazing badassery later, although trust me i know how hard it is to resist, for now we've gotta get you trained. I'll help you guys out. Tell me what you need, 'sensei'" He said jokingly at Gexln.
Beuce made an exasperated sigh. "No hitting on huh? ...What about flirting?" He was met with a glare and shake of the head. "How about-" This time he was met with a fist. As he hadn't been able to entirely cool his body yet, her knuckles would be burnt more. Still, he rubbed his cheek after the fist had connected. She had one hell of a right hook. Just the kind he liked. Beuce was almost confused at the mention of a sex slave, but then heard the chains and saw a young blonde girl wearing them. He was taken aback by the sight. "Whoa. Didn't know it was that kind of RP. Not that i'm complaining." He walked over to the girl. Obviously she was a sex slave, and a kinky one at that! If the hottest piece of sexy ever to grace god's green earth couldn't score with a girl who's entire purpose for existing was to get it on, then something was severely wrong with this picture. He suavely put his arm around her and winked. "You know if it weren't for me, you'd be the hottest thing around." Now that he mentioned it, her skin was rather warm. He was immune to high temperatures, but he could still detect their presence. Like Yogi and bears, she was certainly warmer than your average sex slave. Jedediah certainly didn't like the idea of retreating. Backing down never sat well with him, but he knew that even he wouldn't be able to mow through all of the army at the rate they were going. He'd already gone through enough stamina that when the exhaustion hit him, it wouldn't be too pleasant. He blocked a hit with his shield and impaled the undead that struck at him with the blade in his hand. They'd likely managed to slay between them at least three hundred undead. While their numbers ranged in the tens of thousands, this was a feat worthy of note. "This is a tactical withdrawl. We will be back to take another chunk from his army later." Jedediah said to Charlotte as he ran back to the human district. Once he was through the gate, he sheathed his sword. The man looked as healthy as when he'd gone into the fight. Not even a drop of sweat on him. Although, he knew the exhaustion would catch up with him soon enough. Orpheus glared at Gawain. He was stepping out of line. Waving a hand, he sent a small group of undead to trail after Feo. Flight or not, they could still track him. "First, As you saw from the onslaught of arrows that pelted him, he's rather difficult to bring down and likely would have escaped regardless. Second, Intel is a vital asset when combating any opponent, but lustors especially. Information is power. And lastly..." Orpheus' tone grew deeper and more serious. "You're stepping out of your place. Speaking to your superior officer in such a tone, if i felt the need to i could have you detained. The only reason i don't is because you're a soldier worth having on my team. But that will only get you so far, half blood." Orpheus said spitefully. He'd heard of this man. A creature some would consider unholy. The result of the union between lustor and human. His strength of both body and will were great, but he was looked down upon for his origin. Now that Maye was gone, The Warden too set out in a different direction. The was something off about that girl. The way she talked to him without fear wasn't something your average person would be able to do. Her activities were less than legal, but her usefulness outweighed her crimes. A necessary evil, one might say. General Orpheus would likely be somewhere near the human district about now, if not still in his castle. If the latter was the case, then he'd pay him a visit after he'd searched the lustor district. He wanted to find out more about this "dangerous criminal" he spoke of.

Beuce wasn't too surprised at the fact that Wart had been able to pull the sword from the stone, more worried about the results. Nequa was now more than capable of taking the holy blade from him. They were his only defense, lot of good that did. All the planning and preparation in the world couldn't have saved them from Nequa's onslaught. Her power was unbelievable. The massive fire attack at the beginning had been all it took to bring him down. He grunted as he struggled to hold himself into a halfway sitting up position from his back. He wasn't unconscious, but he was in no condition to fight. She was slinging magic like no other. They didn't stand a chance to begin with. That Mega-Flare spell was something...Maybe...An idea struck in his mind. It wouldn't help them save the holy sword, but it might help them get it back later. "Kid, i don't think you're going to be able to beat her. Don't put up a fight, you'll only get yourself killed. If you knew how to use that then there's a chance you'd be able to win, but you can barely lift it. We'll get it back from her, trust me. I'd never let someone like her have the last laugh." He said weakly. Even in his injured state, his air of cockiness and the humor in his voice didn't disappear. This was made more apparent by the fact he wasn't actually looking at the boy while he said this, but rather staring at the backside of a certain evil apprentice. He knew that if he was going to win against her ever, he'd need magic as strong as hers. Mizu was a powerful mystic to be sure, but there were only a certain few who could teach him what he needed to know to take on Nequa. He'd find them, defeat them, and get the power he needed.
Libregkd, it has been brought to my attention that you did a ton of work toward this. Therefor, i love you. Let me have your children.
Beuce seemed utterly unphased by the brutal murder of Feo. Rather, he seemed almost pissed off that he hadn't gotten to do it. The little ******. Dodging his attacks. Calling humans pigs! He hit on humans for god's sake! And Beuce wasn't going to be sleeping with any pigs any time soon. Now, he just hoped that hot red-head wasn't actually a pig in a human suit. That would just be awkward. Then, hunter came up and complimented his flaming genitalia (You know when you phrase it like that...it sounds a lot more awkward). "Yeah! Ladies love the crotch fire! I don't know what riding hood over there was talking about when she said as bad as you. I think she meant bad assed." He began following the two, for lack of character interaction otherwise. He may as well help them find this tile. "So. Basically, Somewhere in the human district, a tile lifts up and reveals a hidden passageway. That's descriptive." Beuce looked to Rienzel and nodded. He'd know what to do. His creator pressed the J key, opening up Beuce's quest log. He then clicked on "Find the tile", and hit locate. A blue circle indicating the area it was in appeared on his map...Over the entire human district. "Well that's useful. Try the locate by object." Rienzel did as he was told and clicked the highlighted "tile" word in the description, and hit locate. The words "It is in a hard-to-find location"" appeared on the screen. "No **** that's why we're trying to locate it." Jedediah smiled as Emi and a boy he'd never seen before came to help, firing shots from her ballista into the zombies they fought. Adapting quickly, he spin kicked a zombie into the path of one of the shots. He thought about what Charlotte said. No one wants to see their savior doubled over in pain. It was true, one of his god given powers came with a price. He felt not even a twinge of exhaustion throughout an entire battle, but after about an hour and a half to two hours of strenuous activity or so, he'd feel it all at once. Depending on how much he did in that time, it'd be quite the painful experience. Charlotte had been witness to more than one occasion on which this happened. But even so, this was their main force! He couldn't let a little risk stop him from defeating it! With a series of reflexive parries, blocks, and blows, he was absolutely decimating the undead. If not for the sheer numbers given to them by Orpheus, it wasn't unlikely Jedediah himself could turn the tides of the war in their favor. It took him longer to kill a lustor than an undead, but he'd never met one he couldn't handle. So far, the ******* commander of these creatures hadn't shown up. From what he'd heard, Orpheus was no slouch in a fight. He wasn't very physically strong, but with his precision telekinesis, he was able to pull off some resourceful and effective tactics. Still, He'd be no match for the hero of god. To defeat Orpheus is why he was born. The warden thought over her suggestion. He'd never actually met Orpheus, but he'd heard of him. He was the general of the lustors, leading the war against the humans. He was brutal and ruthless, yet effective and a tactician like no other. The warden had thought of going after him on more than one occasion, but Orpheus' actions could almost be justified by the war. When you're in a war, any kill is self defense. They will kill you if you don't kill them. Even if you started the war, once it's begun the blows are fair game. "I may just do that. Any word on his current location?" As Feo spoke, Orpheus continued to decrease the number of fingers held up on his hand. His expression was an unchanging glare. "If such a passage exists, we will find it. Unless it's hidden by forces of a mystical persuasion, it can be found. I doubt you know any witches or sorcerers. Any i've seen have been merely frauds creating optical illusions. Rest assured, we will find it. Now then..." Orpheus' fingers had all fallen into his palm save for his index finger. His troops, lustor and undead alike, readied their weapons with anticipation. Archers knocked arrows into their bows, and began taking aim. The vanguard was ready to charge on a moment's notice. "Your time is up." He waved his hand downward, signaling for the attack on Feo to start.
Beuce had finally been able to stand after the pain from Gwen's punch dulled. He wobbled to his feet, still unsteady. "Do me a favor, Redsy. Don't do that again. I will find a way to attach a pair of nuts to you and punch them if you do. You think i'm kidding but i swear it'll happen." Beuce said, trying to sound intimidating. He then got on his guard in case she decided to openly defy him and try to punch him again. to be perfectly honest, he hoped she did. He found that reaaaally extremely hot in a girl. Orpheus gave a skeptical stare to Feo. This boy was quickly getting on his nerves. His disrespectful demeanor irritated him to no end. However, he seemed to have somewhat useful information. If there really was some sort of alternative route, that was crucial information they needed from him. Of course, this could all be a ploy. So whether or not to trust him was a difficult question. It was then a sense a few miles away from him indicated one of his undead being slain. His message had been delivered. "I said you would face the consequences for attacking my party, and i meant it. I don't know who you are, But i can tell you that if you are allied with our forces, you aren't a higher rank than me. The only one who fits that description is Mordecai himself. Attacking me or my troops is tantamount to treason. Henceforth, i mark you as an enemy to the Lustors. If there is an entrance to the human district, we'll find it ourselves. For the information on it's existence, i'll give you a head start. I advise using it wisely." Orpheus said intimidatingly. It was apparent he wasn't going to let the murder of his troops go unpunished. He held up a single hand with all five fingers out. Shortly after he put down his thumb. The message to his troops was clear. When it hit zero, kill. The conversation stopped there. Not because the warden himself stopped it, but because it was interrupted. A body which was mostly skeleton with armor and a few chunks of flesh left here and there staggered through the door. It was quickly dealt with as the warden effortlessly lifted it off the ground with a single hand, and crushed the skull into dust. "Damn Lustor general. Thinks he can send his scum into my jail." It was then he noticed it holding a small scroll. He picked it up harshly and opened it, beginning to read the contents aloud, as he assumed The Joker would be curious. "Warden, you are a vigilante who has killed a great many of our kind, and tortured more than that. However, i am aware that you have a sense of justice. There is a fugitive on the run from us. He is a dangerous criminal. At the mere age of ten years, he has already killed several not only lustors, but innocent humans. A man like this isn't good for either race. Should he be allowed to progress to adulthood, one can only imagine the crimes he would commit. I leave it to you to decide whether this is a worthy task or not. Just remember, you have made it your self-appointed duty to bring justice to criminals of the world." ~General Orpheus" The warden's shadowed eyes narrowed, and he turned his hulking body in its whole to the girl he towered over standing next to him. "What do you make of this? Think it can be trusted?" Jedediah was pleased as a familiar face appeared near him on the battlefield. Charlotte. She was as beautiful as she was dangerous. And she just dove into a horde of undead like a swimmer dives into a lake. "Charlotte! I've never been better! This is what i've been waiting for all this time. Orpheus finally sent his forces to face me! I knew he could resist challenging me!" Jedediah called back. Apparently he assumed that this entire stunt was purely for him. He back flipped and landed with his palms against the ground, then swung his legs in a rounded motion and smashed his feet into the heads of a few undead. Once they were down, he pushed up and landed steadily upright once more. "Besides, I'm the savior of all humanity! God gifted me with these powers to fight the lustors! If i didn't do a crazy stunt once in a while, what kind of savior would i be?"
Damn pinkies.
As Gwen's fist connected with the man's nether regions, A slight sizzling sound was heard. The intense heat radiating from his boyd (crotch included) caused burns to any average person who touched him. Just so happened Gwen fit the bill. The slight sizzling sound had been from the skin on her knuckles cooking. However, this hadn't spared Beuce from toppling over in pain. "You are a horrible evil person! Didn't your mother ever teach you that when you meet an extremely attractive lustor that seems into you, don't punch him in the nuts? Apparently not! What do they teach in schools these days if not important stuff like that?" Orpheus looked at the man in front of him skeptically. He'd already had his suspicions about where the boy might be, but Feo had just confirmed it...That was, if he could trust him. He didn't speak it, nor make any motion which would indicate it, but he ordered several small squads of undead he had stationed around the district to perform a search. A large majority of his forces were stationed outside the human district, but they were never all in one place. Some were on reserve. And part of that reserve was what he issued to hunt for the missing fugitive. Just in case this man was lying. Couldn't be too careful. It was then that one of the grunts, a lowly soldier stood up and seemed to oppose Feo with him. He didn't seem shocked by Orpheus stabbing the wounded soldier, so he must have understood his logic behind it. A wounded soldier would be nothing more than dead weight, so better to make him undead and free him from his pain, as well as make him unhindered by his injuries. Sven on the other hand, did not seem to quite get it. He would explain it to him later, but for the moment he had to focus on this new lustor which appeared. Orpheus cut a slit in his finger and dripped the blood onto the body, which then rose up to a standing as an undead. "We were headed there now. Planning to gather him in exchange for securing supply routes to the humans, and moving our forces so they could gain supplies. Unless you've got a better method of extracting him?" The warden let out a deep, low chuckle. "Better than you have tried to take me down. But i'd hate to turn my best informant into a floor stain. What do you say we come to an agreement? Someone issues a contract on me, You can guess i'll issue one on them. Pick and choose your targets." The warden offered. "Still, forcing you to lose contractors isn't good business. I'll keep to the shadows when i can." Although that could be somewhat difficult at times. When you were a monstrous height and collected criminals like a farmer collects crops, people tended to talk about you. Still, very few new more about him than the legend. A dark angel of vengeance sent from god to punish the wicked. Heh. He was about as far from angelic as you could get. He was no divine entity. But he was justice incarnate. Judge, Jury, and Executioner all in one. There were still a wide array of target on his list. Some, there were no traces of them. Like they'd just plain vanished from existence. Waldo, the *******. He'd find him yet. Standing atop the wall surrounding the human district was a green haired man looking down onto the sea of living corpses. He had a smile on his face. Orpheus was finally making his move, and sending the brunt of his forces. There was already panic in the streets for fear of the shortages that would come. He turned around, so he was overlooking the city. "People of Humanity! You think too low of your savior! This army is the Lustor's main force, but on our side is an army of one! Your savior will defeat this army for you and avert this crisis!" He called out with a loud booming voice to the inhabitants of the city. After that, he turned back and leaped off the wall. As he plummeted through the air, he held his shield out in front of him. As he landed, the long shield impaled a zombie through the neck and his feet slammed against its chest, softening his blow and knocking it to the ground easily. He stood and pulled his shield out of the corpse, and swiftly dodged several blows from multiple undead soldiers around him, and countering with inhumanly fast blows of his own. The first was sliced in half at the waist like butter, then he turned and grabbed another by the head and caved in the front of it's skull with his right knee, another with his fist, and a spin with his shield out dispatched three more who were unfortunate and stupid enough to get close to him. In the span of 2.5 seconds, he'd successfully taken out seven undead. His sash hadn't even floated down all the way from his fall by the time he was done. A cocky grin spread on his face as he jeered to the undead, inviting those who would challenge him.
I'd need you to RP as a portion of the NPCs, run some of the battles, and advance matrix level when warranted.
Clearly in my case you will lie to me.
Okay, well, it has occurred to me that by myself, there is no way i'd be able to handle this RP. So if i could get a co-runner or two, it would significantly help.
Username: Beucefilous Character Name: Jedediah Age: 27 Gender: Male Appearance: Spoiler Bio: One of the higher ups in the human faction. He considers himself the Anti-Orpheus, and wants more than anything to overcome him. While Orpheus contributes to his faction by supplying them with an army of undead, Jedediah considers himself to deliver evened odds as an "army of one". His relentless assault on Orpheus has given him the largest kill count in the human faction, if undead is counted. Even in terms of just enemy soldiers, he's near the top. He doesn't know he's a lustor, simply believes himself to be a human with god given powers to lead humanity to salvation. Primary Power*: Manual reflex. Is capable of performing incredibly quick and accurate actions and motions normally only possible through instinctual reflexes at will. Inherited Power*: Delayed exhaustion. Feels no repercussions from strenuous physical activity until hours after it has been performed. Giving him the ability to perform a tireless charge -limit: When the exhaustion from his actions hit, it hits all at once. Making it hard to gauge his limits and making him incredibly vulnerable if it occurs in fights. As his power increases, he will have a bit of control over when it hits, and can dull the effects. Weapon: Galantine and Avalon (it's a shield not a sheath) Starting Location: Neck deep in undead. Other: Considers himself on a mission from god, to save humanity from ruin and defeat the unholy undead that plague the land and their master. Thinks of himself as a paladin. Theme: Doooooom is all around~
Beuce ran onto the scene quickly. He'd found him. The man with the sense of humor. No one else had that! It was such an uncommon character trait. And gasp! It seemed they were being confronted by some overpowered prick who was enjoying forcing people to listen to him being a prick. Beuce hated people like that. "Hey! You over there! I hear by sentence you to one fight's worth of ass kicking on the crime of being a prick!" He shouted. Heating up his hands to rather high levels, the air around his gauntlets started to wave from the intensity of it. The gauntlets themselves began to glow dimly under the heat, but they were only allowing a small portion to get through. tungsten. That's what they were made from. It was a particularly hard metal and had an extreme melting point. Running past Hunter and Gwen (to whom he winked and delivered a tongue click to as he passed), the white haired lustor struck the first blow, by throwing a heated punch in Feo's direction. Orpheus didn't pay much mind to the squabble Sven and Cierra seemed to have. He never did when they had something of the sort. It was none of his business what they did with each other. As long as they didn't hinder the mission, he would allow almost anything involving one another. Along the way, he heard someone shouting and killing the weaker lustors around them that had accompanied his personal band. Orpheus wasn't a particularly passionate person, nor did he feel pity for anyone. However, the man wasn't killing the lustors, simply torturing them. "I don't know who you are, but those are my troops you're torturing. I can't have wounded men going into battle." Said the dark general as he dismounted the horse and walked over to Feo, showing not even the slightest hint of fear. He cast a glare down at his current victim, then drew his sword. The lustor cried out with relief, believing the powerful Orpheus had come to save him."If you intend to attack my men, there are two things you should keep in mind. First, be prepared to face the consequences. Second..." He paused, then plunged his sword Arondight into the lustor laying on the ground's throat. "Finsih the job." The warden grew silent for a moment, as though recollecting his thoughts. "She's out there. Someone attacked the prison while i was away. She didn't die in the attack. No body was found. I'd wager she's still with whoever did that to this day. Bloody coward." The warden said with a low growl. He was angry that the attack had been while he was away, as though they were too frightened to face the warden. "After the prison was attacked, i found bone fragments all over. Not just normal ones. These were sharpened, made to be blades. I'd stake my life it's from a lustor. We find one like that, he'll probably lead us to 123." Said the warden. 123. The number of the cell that girl had been kept in and what he referred to her as most of the time. He'd find her, one way or another.
Orpheus frowned as Sven brought up the point of not needing such a large escort. While it was true the chances they would need a group of twenty was slim, he didn't want to take risks. "The fugitive alone we could probably handle without an escort at all. However, there's always the chance he won't be alone. Someone helped him escape. Better to be overly cautious than dead. But worry not. If you die on this mission i'll be sure to make a useful undead out of either of you." Orpheus said grimly. He was most likely joking, but one never knew...Heading up the stairs and out into the courtyard, he mounted a horse and prepared to leave. "Even if he's made it to the human district by now, he won't last long. Humans are selfish and greedy by nature. They won't hesitate to drown an ally to keep themselves afloat." From the shadows came a deep rolling bass reply. It sounded as though it were from the mouth of the devil himself. "Maye D. Lyfe. What do you want?" The warden said not so much in an aggressive tone, but more a matter of fact one. As though he were conducting business. The hulking figure stood and walked over to the girl. Next to him, she looked like she was the size of a child. She was an acquaintance of his. She was known as "The Joker". He didn't so much trust her as trust her information. She'd been the reason he was able to find more than one of his targets. "I assume you didn't just stop in for a friendly chat with the jailkeeper." will edit in Beuce's post
