If I'm right...
It all came from the Table-top RPGs, spawning from the Dungeons & Dragons game. At least in modern terms of RPG. Then of course that translated to video gaming, with picking characters and statistics and so on. I would guess maybe the first D&D video game could be the firs RPG, made in 1980. However, I'd guess the first would have been made by D&D players, PC games that my have been passed around by up and coming devs. Most likely though, they never would've been published.

Best I can gather from some research and personal thought.

First time I heard RPG?
I played them before I realised what they were, like most gamers I guess. Must have read it in a GameMaster magazine. No clue. I know it's my favourite genre of game, that's bout it.

Accomplishment is pushing it.

- Had 21 shots, for my 21st bday on June 21st in 1 and half hours
- Did the Trivia Tournament, that was a ton of work to what I'd expected.
- Doing 16 podcasts last year.
- Got a 2:1 for my first year at Uni.
- Loved, lost, learnt.
- Another year where my episodes decreased greatly, didn't get near to double figures at all!
- Started my first novel. Still learning I'll need a lot more work on it. 30 pages isn't enough, but it's better a none.
- Actually felt proud-ish of my first short story.
- Hearing a published writer I admire and like saying I'm a good writer.
- Replayed Mass Effect Trilogy in a row. Best three weeks ever, ha.

It's weird playing certain games whilst listening to some music, some that I never thought would work, do.

I can imagine musicals and CoD are one of those combos.

I will stand up and say Neigh! Neigh and Neigh again!

I doubt it'll go through.
I do wonder how governments think they can govern an information network across the globe that doesn't basically destroy its basic use. Including the very principles they use it for. I understand the internet is a chaotic and difficult place to govern, but it's got more good than bad, whether they see it or not.

This is thread is such an internet reaction thing. I don't think real life would constitute the need to insult so immediately.

This is an uninformed backlash here. No one knows what actually has gone on but they've formed the answer already and haven't considered they might wrong.I understand emotional reactions, but uniformed reactions are stupid. Kingdoms have been tricked into wars over such unclear knowledge or misinformation.
If people really wanted to know what happened and berate them, i'd rather they have the facts.

That's just bad observation if you can't tell the intentions and vocabulary used when making a request are different. Putting all requests under an umbrella idea of being aggressive is an anti-social perception.

I have thick skin. I was bullied for years and I work with autistic people, who actually do poke me repeatedly sometimes. How to tackle it? Talk, say it’s inappropriate, reinforce it is not acceptable. I would presume said person was autistic from that behaviour. I would cope. Actually I would probably joke, like in most awkward situations I can, trying to lighten the situation. Basically, diversion, alter the situation by changing the thoughts of my provocateur.
Don’t really understand all this anger people have towards single, minor annoyances. I get loads of them, or major ones. But when it’s obvious there are worse threats to your health, why does this minor one have you fixated? Just logically tough to understand for me I guess.
