I'm not sure ... let's ask Amaury. Very descriptive detail there (going off the basis that he knows "who the **** I was"). lol Not to be rude or anything, but ... why the **** do you ask? (Is it weird I find this conversation change extremely amusing?)
Just finished and the OP didn't really spoil anything for me. I'm moderately happy with the way things ended. Spoiler: Just cause I was disappointed that Bolin and Eska didn't become a thing. That scene where you think he's acting to get out of the ice trap and go help Korra was ... just so ... I don't even *cries* I was kind of like, "Wait, why'd dude disappear with Rava instead of just seperating?" but what the heck. Was kind of surprised by the rushed-sort-of storyline. I mean they find Jenorah and then she leaves and appears with some sort of spirit light that helps Korra win ... Really? All in all it was a decent book. I don't really have any complaints. I will say the Jenorah thing should probably be a meme or something. Meh. *insert comment that has absolutely no backing whatsoever, saying that you're wrong and the show awesome and derp* I have to agree that a lot of the show was kind of disappoint in comparison to the original series. The biggest issue I have is that it takes Aang the entirety of the series to fully master all four elements and Korra did it in one book. Having said that I still enjoy the show simply because ... I don't know, I just like the show. #inb4alldeminstahaters
KHV spin-off anyone? I'll partake and then quit in three years breaching contract and ending my TV career for a short time before making a comeback and topping the charts by starring in all the big movies. Better make sure it has training wheels. @overused Misty joke
This^ If I'm even able to get the stupid thing to load, I have to suffer through figuring out the exact way to enter the problems. Forget it if you have squares inside of fractions with multiple variables. I know this is the twenty first century and all but do we have to make everything digital?
Gangs, terrorists, thugs, criminals ... If there were ever a time to escape reality it'd be now, and once you escape don't come back. When you can't leave you house, when you can't take a plane, when you can't even sit in your house there is something severely wrong. A lot of the world doesn't really make sense to me but I'm sure the same could be said in reverse. I hope they find the true shooters if they aren't already in custody and can bring down the entire gang to follow suit. Gangs and guns. Terrorists and terror. Thugs and muggings. Criminals and crime. Oh what a wonderful rhyme ...
I'm to the point now the darkest pit in my heart really doesn't feel for these type of incidents anymore. It's terrible what happened, it truly is ... I just don't feel anything anymore. After seeing three 'shooting' threads consecutively ... that was enough to tell me exactly the kind of position the world is in. Security at airports is so tight already you might as well just turn around and leave. I think you should have to go through prior approval by an inspector to get a pass that will allow you to even access an airport ... that should be done monthly (or the month of use). I'm just getting so sick of seeing this kind of crap on the news anymore.
I wonder if they'll be setting up precautions just in case something were to happen to the tunnel, like emergency pods or something. It does seem like a pretty cool idea. I think it'd be really cool to make tunnels connecting America to some of the other countries ... so I don't have to take those bloody planes. I'll check back later to see how things turn out for the underwater tunnel.
Sad to say that this is what he's going to be remembered for. Hopefully his family isn't taking the hit too hardly. I don't really have much to say on the matter other than it was an unfortunate incident in which a man was shot and killed. It appears as though the family bears no strong grudges against the man, however it remains unclear as to what exactly happened. Just another one of those wrong time wrong place kind of things.
Not sure I'd be too happy about the game thing ... I'm happy the criminals are in custody and the guy is okay. After all the whole thing was started over a game. You think you'd look at the game and have zero interest in it after something like this, but meh. It's sad to see society turning to **** .... more than it already is over something as insignificant as a video game. I like gaming as much as the next guy ... I'm not willing to injure or kill someone over it.
Tell me how often Thanksgiving day lands on the same exact day (as in date, not day of the week). The offset of the months along with leap year makes schedules change. Schools adapt to those changes. So blame the Mayans, they didn't set up the calendar right.
You let me know when everything starts shutting down for Mother's Day and I'll tell you if it's a real Holiday. I'd almost go as far to say Christmas isn't even a holiday anymore. I don't think there is one. You're supposed to get the day off on Holidays to spend time with your family and friends. Don't see much of that anymore. So to answer your question, by my new modern definition, yes those are all Holidays.
Not really. I usually jest about how old I am around my friends ... of course a lot of them are plenty older than I am. They just laugh about it and we carry on. The only time I use my seniority is to call a kid out on something completely and totally idiotic. Something I know wouldn't work but they 'know' would. I've been proven wrong on occasion but if it takes me 'flaunting' my age to you to keep you from doing something stupid and hurting yourself then so be it. Other than that I really don't even think about my age .... I hate to think about how old I'm getting -_- EDIT: Was pointed out that I've already posted. Seeing as nothing really contradicts and this stands to further explain my ideals on the matter I seen no reason to do anything about this post.
I'm gonna pick one and to be honest it's probably going to be one of those "really?" type moments for a lot of you ... Lauren Faust. You know most people go with the (voice) actors and such but I'd just like to meet someone with that type of creative mind. Powerpuff Girls, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, (don't brony hate) Friendship is Magic. She's done a lot. I guess if I had to go with a second choice it'd be Matt Smith because best Doctor (opinionated statement) >.>
You think you're so smart with your ... your knowledge and crap! .... You're not exclusive to certain school!!! *pouts* Srsly tho, didn't know that. Only have attended one university and I figure that higher grade schools would have higher grade programs ... Meh, it's whatevs. Sad to hear I'll be stuck with the same crappy program for a longer period of time though.
Actually the whole thing is completely corrupt. She has a responsibility to make sure you have everything you need up until and sometimes even a few years after the age of eighteen. Some might argue the same thing that she is feeding you and giving you a place to live. As the one who brought you into this world she bares that undeniable responsibility. At no point should it ever cross a parent's mind that 'you owe them' anything. I don't loan my mother money because she'll blow it at the bar and then have to take a cut later on to pay me back, because she's a terrible terrible alcoholic and I learn after a few times. My dad, biological father anyway, has never really asked for money. He was never really there so he probably feels guilty, but I don't think he's the type to anyway. Basically life's messed up when you can't even trust your parents with money. All I can say is try and look past it now ... and later on when she really needs your help then you stab her in the back and twist the blade ... or you forgive and forget like 'normal' people do and love her as your one and only mother. All I can say is when my mom gets to that age where she needs to be looked after ... I got two brothers who can put up with her crap or I can pay a home bill. I'm that type of cynical on the matter. Hope this helped and potentially showed you what you shouldn't do (basically everything I said I'd do) and gave you a bit of insight on the matter. Hope it all works out for you.
Holy **** ... That moment when you thought you've seen the latest episode of Korra, so you go ahead and click on the spoiler ... and it turns out ... you haven't seen the latest episode of Korra ... I hate the ****ing site I use. They don't update fast enough. Thankfully OP was not that descriptive and only briefly mentioned what I assumed to be a part of the final episode. I hate spoilers when they spoil stuff for me. You think they'd give them like a warning label or something to stop that. <--Joke
Wrong. He's an oldfart. Time goes by differently in KHV. You think you've been here for a couple minutes but you've actually lost a few hours. You think you've been visiting for several years but you've actually lost half your life. You actually don't even know when you move on ... some say you stay with KHV .... forever! *spooky ghosty sounds*[DOUBLEPOST=1384677443][/DOUBLEPOST] He never said he wasn't 20. He just said he never mentioned it.
:D I think I might go to the same university as you! (One of them anyway.) Was it MyMathLab? I hate that friggin thing. But yeah, I don't see how a public school could enforce something like that. A free program might slide but ... well forty dollars isn't too bad. As Fearless stated, she had to get a program that cost $120 dollars ... then again that takes the place of your book ... but you still have to pay tuition ... hmm ... universities are different. Anyway teach shouldn't be doin' that crap. But ... umm ... when did band become an actual class in middle school ... or am I that far out in the sticks?
I don't remember you not mentioning it ... then again I don't remember a lot of things. Names, ages, likes, dislikes, rap sheet, colors, measurements, schedules, addresses, ... *several hours later* not to park in the spaces with the blue wheelchair signs, not to ride the bicycles in the Walmart, ... *several more hours later* how to bake cookies, not to eat cookies fresh out of the oven, not to take out fresh cookies from the oven bare handed ... that's about all I can think of now. I don't forget all those things all the time but I forget them a lot of the time. Anyway, what was the point again? Oh yeah, how old are you then?
Conversation got real for a minute ... lol. I personally like Teen Titans Go because I miss Teen Titans. That show was crazy awesome good fun times ... 0_o Anyway, I liked Young Justice as well but when they switched to that last arc and sort of jumped a bit into the future ... I kind of lost interest. I like how it got a little more realistic and whatnot but it felt like the heart was lost from the show. I haven't really noticed anything fishy about TTG that would imply them mocking YJ but then again I don't pay that much attention when I'm cleaning out my DVR at two in the morning either. Everyone has their opinions though. I say just let the show be what it is. Some mind draining, cheap laugh creating entertainment. It doesn't have a rich story line but it's got a few punchlines here and there I'm quite fond of. Favorite part was where Raven was depicted as a 'brony'. Watch closely and you'll see. They'll ALL SEE!!! Muaghahahahahahaha!!!
