❝Hey, umm, Noëlle? It's me ...❞ This time she was wide awake. A doctor had come in about twenty minutes prior to Jonathan's arrival letting her know she was free to go and giving her a prescription for some painkillers. She was sitting on the edge of her hospital bed, staring at her phone with a somewhat annoyed expression.

There was no way she would be taking the bus home, but neither Bryan nor her mother were answering their phones. It was ... strange, and a bit worrisome. It was safe to say she completely regretted using Cupid's Brew. She called Joey, who answered, but quickly stated that he had something to do before hanging up with her.

She could ask Jonathan to give her a ride but that made her a bit nervous!

❝Come in, Jonathan.❞ She smiled when he entered. It really was rather sweet of him to be checking on her like this ... ❝Good morning.❞

❝Heheh come now, no need to thank me, I'm just glad to see you're alright,❞ Jonathan said scratching the back of his head as he looked away and chuckled quietly. She smiled and adjusted herself in the hospital bed, glancing at a clock in the room and wondering if there was a reason she hadn't been discharged yet.

With a sigh, she settled back.

❝Well then, if you're feeling well enough why don't we head out for something to eat? I can always bring something up here if you want.❞

❝Aah, I'm not sure I can go home yet ... I couldn't ask you to bring my something, haha. I wouldn't want you to go out of your way.❞

❝Don't be ridiculous, you must be starving...No buts! I'mma get something to eat! If it bothers you think of it as me getting myself something to eat and deciding to get something for you as well.❞

Since he clearly wasn't taking no as an answer, she sighed and decided to wait patiently for him, thanking him on his way out.

He came back with sandwiches and they ate together all kawaiily, chatting about this and that. Noelle found herself thoroughly enjoying their time together. A doctor came in at some point to let her know they were originally going to release her that morning, but that they needed to sort something out with the accident or something before discharging her.

Before Jonathan left he mentioned something.

❝I have something important to tell you...but for now you should rest up.❞

It definitely made her feel curious, but she shrugged it off and went to sleep after shooting Bryan another text.

Noelle was enjoying a deep, dreamless sleep when a knock at her door woke up. A few hours prior a nurse had come in to check on her, but other than that her time in the hospital had been pretty uninterrupted. The second patient she had been briefly sharing a room with had left shortly after arriving, and she had to admit it had been pretty lonely. She had been hoping Bryan would check on her soon, but ... Maybe he was still upset, after all. Unless it was him at the door.

After waking herself up a bit and brushing her hair out of her face, she groggily called out towards the door.

❝Come in,❞

She was happy and also a bit surprised to see that it was Jonathan ... again. She had nothing against Jonathan, of course, he was a good guy - how could he not be he was Julius' brother! It was just strange seeing him so often these last couple of days. She smiled, grateful for the company, and sat up a bit.

❝Hey! ... Thanks again, for yesterday ... I'm feeling a lot better today.❞
