Actually on the contrary. To maintain a smaller file size they are more compressed. But to keep the quality high I compressed them with a codec that is more CPU intensive, so not all computers would be able to handle it. The jumpiness mentioned is almost certainly when the buffer runs out and the player either has to stop or discard frames. A couple things to try if you have trouble playing them. Make sure that the codec being used to read the file is designed for H.264. Many codecs can be used on several formats, but they might not be as efficient at the job. Switching to a player like VLC or MPC-HC that has built in codecs is definitely the easiest way to do this. Try using a video converter to change it to a video with less compression but is easier for your computer to read. There are a lot of programs that can do this, but if you don't want to find one I would recommend Any Video Converter since it is pretty easy to use.
Well I meant an update to the plugin (or creation of an alternative); but yes, there is no telling when or if that will come about so we just have to deal with it.
The way that the table code autosizes is non-standard, and thus there isn't a standardized way for a browser to interpret it. Thus Firefox isn't doing it "wrong" it just isn't the result you want in this case. What needs to happen is a tweak to the table code so that can then be interpreted in a standard way for the browser, but that bit of code is very difficult for us to change without breaking stuff. So we need to wait for an update.
The deal here is that we can't fix what the automatic width is and it is too small. What removing "word-wrap: break-word" does is it prevents breaking a word up to do wrapping, but since the space is still a few pixels too small it will still wrap entire words where it can.
Sorry I've been MIA for so long. It'll have to be a couple days more since I'm in finals week, but very soon. And also sorry I didn't give warning as I was leaving, I had only meant to leave for a couple of days, but stuff got pretty busy and I didn't know if it was going to be like that for a weekend or a month or whatever so I just left you with the obvious observation. So yeah... *scuttles off awkwardly*
It's never really bothered me, though I do wish that given the renaming the worlds they would be better about scrubbing out the original name when you are actually there. Enough about "China", what are you even talking about? This is "The Land of Dragons" But what it comes down to is that each story gets it's own world regardless of setting. I guess why it never bothered me is that they really already are their own little world. No matter how many stories mention something happening in London I never go thinking about traveling there to be part of the action or anything like that. It may be based on London, and it may even keep the name, but it isn't our London. (I hope someone understands what I'm trying to say here, because it makes a lot more sense in my head than when I try to explain it)
My favorite glitch I've hit was in the original Assassin's Creed. I was diving through a market stall but the animation somehow got interrupted so I was stuck inside. I messed around with pretending he was a mime for like 15 minutes before resetting the game. And not a wierd glitch, but one I like to mention when the discussion of glitches is brought up. In Darksiders, I was revisiting the Black Throne to collect some stuff that I missed. I was riding one of the huge elevators up when I fell through, hit the ground level, and the game autosaved. From then onward on that file that wing of the dungeon with all of its remaining loot was completely inaccessible.
This will be my first time actually studying for a final myself. Though it is because the prof kept falling behind and thus barely covering the last material.
It got a bit easier when my HP got higher, I played through the rest of the game with the minimum 80 HP and that is what I started CO with. Though a lot of my "struggling" in CO was just being impatient after being accustomed to one shotting the entire field. I actually only died like 4 times before I made this thread, but it was always near the end of a teeming darkness room and since CO has the most tedious random battles it felt like a huge setback each time.
There is no way to effectively use that many moogles at once. All but two of those moogles were used for nothing but the free pack, of which something like 95% of what I got was sold back...
I think it is dying down now these days but I do agree that some people on line like to hide behind anonymity and say things that I hope they wouldn't say in real life. My personal theory is that for a while the social side of the internet was dominated by teens and younger adults (still is, but to a lesser extent). So when you enter your rebellious stages the internet was a great way to kinda get your feet wet. You just show up somewhere, make a new username, and troll. Then you aren't risking relationships you have (friends, parents, etc.) but they don't even have to know about it. But now that the internet is expanding and the early adopters are growing up the general rudeness does seem to be decreasing some. And the other half of it is among the people that are just jerks online or not, there is some removal of boundaries. In real life there is only so far you can go before most people will punch you in the face, retaliation online requires a lot more tact (as if you troll them back directly they get to be amused that they are pissing you off) or skill in hacking. And then when you get into hacker trolls that gets a lot more complicated.
I don't really need tips that much, I did come this far after all. I'm just venting a bit. Though thanks to all of you willing to chip in some two-cents. xD Spoiler: This was also a horrible idea
Yeah, that still wouldn't work. First CO doesn't drop greens so I would have no way to replenish my already small stockpile of those (I own two of them), And Meeting Ground just guarantees that one will show up when the battle starts, I still have to wait for the second one. Don't get me wrong I use Trinity Limit whenever it is available, but it friend cards are too unreliable. Particularly when a single misstep can leave you dead five seconds later.
And before Donald and Goofy Show up?
Backstory on why it is actually bothering me now that I'm up at level 70. I've actually really been impressing myself with being able to essentially no damage things. While I obviously would die fairly often no boss would take more than three attempts (And the crapton of CP allows for some strategies that make certain bosses laughable). Castle Oblivion though, is quickly getting under my skin. For Twilight Town and Destiny Islands I got in the habit of using Quake and Mega Flare, but the Wizards, Red Nocturnes, Green Rhapsodys, and to a lesser extent the Neoshadows.say nay. I've started spamming Reflect Raid and Judgment, but Sora seems incapable of throwing upwards and then it just goes underneath everything. I just switched to using Ragnarok and Blitz, but it is just too freaking slow. At least having that Holy in my deck helps a lot though.

The whole 1000 vs 1024 debate tends to piss me off a bit, really just because there is no real reason for the 1000 model to exist. Sure, maybe they shouldn't have decided to use the metric prefix, but then retroactively going "kilo should always mean 1000, all you techy people are wrong" just adds so much unnecessary confusion. The only place off hand that I can think of 1000 being used is in marketing harddrives to make them sound bigger than they actually are, and in software that gives you the choice in which to use. When I first heard about the kibibyte, mebibyte, etc. labels 5 years ago I thought for sure that would be one the majority in IT would just go "screw you, we're not doing that", but here we are with half adopted nomenclature. I now rest slightly on using the new labels only because then there is no debate. If I say kibibyte everyone knows I mean 1024, but if I say kilobyte I don't know if the other person is thinking 1024 or 1000.
Well that is to a degree what it is, and I largely welcome criticism. If I had a method to remove subtitles I would, but as it stands I do not. If there is anything about these videos (or on any of the videos in the archive) that you think would make them better, let me know. I would much rather turn down several ideas than overlook something that I could do but didn't think about.
