I know how tough it is, the need to belong in some form of social group-but if you are certainly sure that they don't like you, why confront them at all? Sure you can be like, "I can tell you don't like me so I'm just gonna leave" but that could backfire because it could sound like you're an attention seeker asking them for comfort, and if you're going for assertiveness, that's not the way to go IMO Just ignore them completely and do your own thing. Sit with another bunch of people or something (In 10th grade I went through about 7 different groups. All through high school I probably came close to 20). Usually people will let you sit with them for a while just until you get your head together. When you start ignoring your old group, they'll either shrug it off or ask you whats up-to which you will reply with "You guys got boring" or "I'm exploring my options" or "My standards are higher now". That's if you actually want to get rid of them completely. If not, then say something like "I tried to fit in but it wasn't working, so I'm gonna stay by myself for a while." You'd be surprised, most kids your age don't even care about friendship stuff anymore. It's not about treating someone right, its just having someone to sit with at lunch. But honestly, I wouldn't even confront them. Just leave and let them work it out themselves. If they don't like you, they're not even worth the effort to tell them off about it.
