Gwen was prompt, per usual, and with the curtains open the sun fell on to Abigail's eyes, causing the woman to stir and eventually wake. "Big day indeed," her voice was a bit groggy, but as she was in the presence of only her servant it did not bother her. For like Gwen feeling able to be informal to the queen, the queen was able to be informal to her. Nonetheless, she made sure the next time she spoke her voice would be level. Though she still used this informal time for a yawn and a stretch. Once done with that she got out of bed, moving her feet over the soft, lavish rug and looked at the dress Gwen had set out. "Lovely choice, as always." It would be a fine thing to wear for her visit to the princess. If a lowly base knight could travel with the king and somehow prove their worth then surely it would mean instant promotion. This was Aloys' theory, anyhow. The there was that whole being nothing more than a man in training, so how would he end up traveling to Korr? This was quite the problem. His first attempt would be to sneak along, then reveal himself once it was too late to send him back, as he would make the point that it would be dangerous to go alone. And no one could escort him without wasting half a day's worth of travel. To him, it seemed flawless. So he packed his gear and things that would be needed for the journey before seeking out the caravan the king would be traveling with. He found them just before they departed and so he was able to follow them out. As an archer it was easy for him to keep his distance, hiding in whatever shrubbery, trees, and grass tall enough to hide him and keep sight of the traveling king and knights. Now that they were in Korr territory he felt that if he was seen now it wouldn't matter, and yet he still stayed away. Punishment for this could be bad and prevent him from eating, which he hadn't done much of yet. For even when they rested he was alert and paranoid about making too much noise. Only a few bites of bread was had. At least he kept it at the top of his bag, so he could simply reach in and grab it. Which he did now, slowing down to take a few bites while staring towards the direction of the knights. He couldn't actually see them now, but least they shouldn't be able to see him either as he let his guard down.
[ Day: 13/1 → Mood: Nervous → Location: Outside Temperance's Room → OOC: Nothing ] When the boy awoke the first thing he did was check his messages. Elizabeth wished to know where he was and there was another message from Marina. The first was told his room number and the second, who had a mission, was promised his best. So he got up the moment the replies had been sent and changed into proper clothes. Before leaving the room a note was left for Cherno that stated Marina, someone from the future (he mentioned, in case the two never met), had also remembered what happened and requested their presence. The address was also listed as well as there would be cars waiting for them outside. A mass text with the same details was sent to his contacts that were involved in the email, which he hoped to be enough to get the ball rolling. Moments after exiting his room he was greeted by his sister who embraced him, asking what had happened. He explained, leaving out the parts about knowing she was going to kill people, and told her to read the text he had just sent. "There's a ninja girl who seems like she'd be able to help... I don't have her number though, or the evil temptress. They're together, though..." He was nervous about Elizabeth and Temperance seeing each other, but if he had acted in time then there was no need for the former to attack his sister, so things should go well... Even so... Probably just needless worry. Reassuring himself he went to her room and knocked, waiting for one of the two to answer.
Nominating Midnight Star, cstar7777, and ^that loser.
anthony replied. he has taken on the mission
Anthony left Temperance's room once the ninja brought her out, the cheerleader out cold for whatever reason. He went back to his room where he then went to bed. Elliot decided to go along with Marina, following Theodore and Olivia there as if he were a lost lamb.
[ Day: 12/3 → Mood: Conufsed → Location: Temperance's Hotel Room → OOC: Nothing ] It was pretty impressive, that they got Temperance to agree to speak with them. Though it had to be her room, and not any of the others. That was a bummer but easily dealt with. Masked girl took point, leaving him to nod to very her points. But then the girl just took out a piece of paper and ripped it up. What was that about? Then she rushed off to the bathroom. Wow. She was really weird... Well, why she was gone may as well try and see what that paper was... But all torn up made it hard to read, though he still tried.
If the show has taught me anything it is a character isn't dead unless you see them die.
[ Day: 12/3 → Mood: Happy → Location: Hot Springs Lobby → OOC: Nothing ] He was lucky, it seemed. Because moments after Harley left Temperance entered the lobby. Anthony went to approach but before he reached her Cherno jumped in his path. Oh. Two in one go. He didn't even had to try. That was great. Then that masked girl popped back up. With how she kept showing he figured that she had to be a ninja. It was the only thing that explained both the teleporting and mask. So now it was the Master of Logic, Evil Temptress, that masked ninja, and him grouped together as he finished his approach. "Hey," he greeted Cherno, "been a while." He was so glad to see Mr. Logic again and even more so that he seemed to remember everything. In any case...a private place to talk... "We could go back to one of our rooms..."
Spending crowns on a strength boost.
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Bored ► Subject: Null ► OOC: N/A ] Elliot sat in silence as the 'meeting' began, soon finding himself staring with disbelief at Marina. Though the look was replaced with one of annoyance. It should not have been surprising that someone like her found a foolish email to be real. Though he had hoped she wouldn't have wasted anyone else's time with it. Instantly this ordeal was marked off as something to be ignored but before he could stand to exit the building that...er, bodyguard? No, that wasn't it... Let's just skip his occupation, as it did not matter to Elliot. That muscle head came in. And with him came the smell of smoke. It caused him to cough even after the source had been put out, though once the thug looked at him the coughs were suppressed. Even his soon-to-be-made comment - that would have said something along the lines about how rude it was to enter a non-smoking zone doing the very thing it disallowed and not to mention how it would ruin their lungs - was held in his throat. The guy may have killed him for it. And so he remained in silence for a little longer. May as well, as there was still time to spare. He even ordered a drink to save for later, when he could safely remove his mask in the clean science room of his first stop. The other students were always late too, so no humans would be there to taint his air. By the time he received it another opened the door to the coffee shop, drawing his attention from the silly group. Oh... Olivia. The dolt entered with a rather large book, saying it was useful once she had taken a seat. It wasn't one he recognized, so this made no sense to the boy. He cared little for it even, being more annoyed by the nudge she gave him. Today was very strange. It was only morning to boot. To make it even weird the...socialite, to use a nicer term than what he originally thought of, began speaking of time travel and body switching. The subjects was something most interesting though when tied to the dealings of an email and its mysterious sender, spoken by someone who thought themselves as a psychic, it was discredited. He stood. "P-pardon me... But I think I will rejoin the sane portion of society now."
[ Day: 12/2 → Mood: Anxious → Location: Hot Springs Lobby → OOC: Nothing ] He had only actually seen them together once but due to their time together on the monorail and the reaction given from her name...he had a pretty good guess why it happened now, thanks to Harley's information. "Cherno was...is here. And I think the Master of Logic fell under her spell. Even after she...went away he missed her, I think." Ah. Did this mean he was in danger as well? Without his memory he was probably spared, however if the older one time traveled like he had then he could remember Temperance. This was of course amusing if his memory was any better in the future. The two lost contact for the most part then of course he had no idea if the rewind happened right after his death or later on. If it was later than he would have no way of knowing what happened after that point. So maybe if he just found Cherno, since he had a good idea where that one would be and not a clue where Temp was, and kept him from seeing the temptress both would be safe... But if the other time traveled too it didn't seem right keeping him from his chance to see her again. So in that case he would have to be that third wheel... They could hate him for it at first but would thank him later.
[ Day: 12/2 → Mood: Anxious → Location: Hot Springs Lobby → OOC: Nothing ] With Harley gone for the moment Anthony was finally able to give the girl a proper amount of his attention. And naturally he had noticed it before, but only now did he give the mask any thought. What was it for? Maybe she was a hero as well, she had time traveled as well after all. Perhaps he should have hidden his identity... Unfortunately he had spent too much time thinking instead of actually asking about it so they had been rejoined by Harley before Anthony said anything to the girl. "What did you find?" So curious...it was painful. No answer. Just assignments. The pain of not knowing grew but he didn't fuss over it as he had to listen. And when it came time for him to speak again it seemed that he had to give an answer of his own. Unfair. "Uh... All cheerleaders are evil, as I was forced to uncover the hard way. And it's obvious she is a temptress, I mean, just look at her name. Wasn't so smart covering it up."
Really hard to pick favorites for me... Liked all of it, but I can group the battle music together in a list of most to least liked in a tie. Mostly to make it easier though. So outside of them I like Dive into the Heart, Organization XIII, Dearly Beloved and The Afternoon Streets are on the top of the list, in no practical order.
Ilinnay .
[ Day: 12/2 → Mood: Anxious → Location: Hot Springs Lobby → OOC: Nothing ] Now that he knew this was real and was told they could actually change things Anthony decided to stop questioning himself and focus on the task at hand. Right...save them... The two girls he did not like, but he still couldn't stand around and do nothing. But now that he thought on it he had no idea why they were killed. He barely even spoke to them, even with the email tying their souls together. Maybe that was why so many had died...that lack of communication. "Yeah, I think I can... I have to, actually. Have no clue why they were targeted though..."
[ Day: 12/2 → Mood: Anxious → Location: Hot Springs Lobby → OOC: Nothing ] First Quin and then Harley. Did they wish to get away from the crazy boy or were they just programmed to follow the same path as before? Either way with them gone and Nora silent he was free to be reminded that he had to hurry and keep Elizabeth from killing anyone but talking to her about it before didn't go so well so he doubted it would be any better this time. He did have an idea though. He took out his phone and texted her, praying she would get it in time. And while Anthony didn't like lying he had told her that he was in danger and left out any details, making it seem like he was too rushed to explain things. After that he pulled a Harley, inviting Nora to come down with him to the lobby but leaving before anything else was said. Waiting was awful. Even with Elizabeth's reply saying she'd be there soon the hot springs were still far out so it would take some time getting there and he was not sure if he got to her in time. The call came rather late though, the one telling the Temptress her friends were gone, so he was hoping for the best. Before his mind could further wander though his named was called, causing him to jump to his feet. He half expected it to be his sister, so when he saw that it was Harley he felt somewhat disappointed. Though that feeling did not last as he was happy that one of them returned to him. "Hey," his voice trailed off at the mention of someone else who had done it as well, that someone shouting that he was alive again. That statement made him smile though all he could offer the stranger was a nod as the deaths caught his attention more. "The tempt... Temperance and M, I believe."
[ Day: 12/1 → Mood: Confused → Location: Hot Springs Third Floor Hallway → OOC: Nothing ] They hadn't met yet, right... They didn't speak until the police... The police. Bodies. They were standing in front of the bath because M and Temptress... Could he be a hero after all? This was his chance, if this was real that is. Though even if he was just imagining the whole thing he had to try and save those two, after all if he just ignored everything he was feeling now when lives could be at stake then what kind of hero would he be? And maybe Nora was here to help, since they hadn't ran in here the last time. Neither did Quin, so perhaps keeping those two close would change the events that took place here? He could only hope. But how... Well, his first idea was to tell the others and pray they didn't think he was losing it. "I think it's fate or something... Every hero gets a second chance after all, right?" The question was thrown out there as if it could be answered. "Oh! Like um... Some movie where they went back...what was the name... Time travel! I am either dead or time traveling! And now with you two- Two...three? Where did Quin go..."
Continuing the onslaught of moles, Yana attacked them without mercy. Their numbers were nearly depleted now and by the time she began to turn her attention to the birds once more only two moles remained.
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Impatient ► Subject: Null ► OOC: N/A ] As nice as it would have been to catch up with his old friend there didn't seem time for that. In fact, he could barely get in that he was well before the other's attention was caught by something else. Guess Elliot wouldn't know how he was now either... Turning to see what had captured Theodore's attention Elliot was hardly surprised to see that it was Marina. And before he could even warn his friend of the vixen he was already over there. Well...at least if it was true about him only liking older women this should not be a problem. Still, as he made his way to sit at the same table as the supposed psychic he couldn't help but to worry over the situation. So when a loudmouthed, pink colored kid came rushing in he was almost relieved, despite how annoying they were since they ruined that moment. And he no longer had to experience being a third wheel. Though this new setting wasn't any less awkward so he felt compelled to speak. "S-so... Why did you call us here? I hope it doesn't take long, classes will be starting soon."
[ Day: 12/1 → Mood: Confused → Location: Hot Springs Third Floor Hallway → OOC: Nothing ] She offered to help by finding a place to sit but that felt like it would only waste time. They had to be doing something. He was not sure what but something, anything to change things. If only the flashes were more clear and did not make his head ache so much. It made everything seem so surreal. Was he even awake? The worst case he could think of is that this was the afterlife where he would be forced to watch the same events unfold while remaining helpless to do anything about them. The best case is that maybe he was just having an episode where reality just became a bit too blurry... Or would that be the worst case instead? Either way Quin was waiting on him to stop staring into space long enough to answer so he tried to do just that. "Ye-" his attempt failed, though it was not his fault. Someone had bumped into them, causing him to be unable to finish his sentence. Whoever it was had apologized and he turned to look at them now, only to stop in his tracks. Didn't he know this one? Yeah...he did, didn't he... "Nora?"
