the code activates when you press the button AND change maps, i don't now if you tried that (that's the case with a lot of jokered codes for this game). also, what cheat device are you using?

so i beat this game yesterday. it was pretty awesome actually. i wish that there was a password or some sort of saving feature implemented, because the lack of those kind of forced me to blast through the entire game in one sitting (i usually like to take my time in beating games).

what you want is the Universal Weapon Mod. yea, it's not really clear what it does from the name so i don't blame you for not finding it. it's in a text file on the first post called "KH2FM UWM.txt". but the code you would want to switch Oathkeeper with Mickey's blade is:

Press R2 to Change Oathkeeper into Mickey's Blade (change maps after you press R2)
    E001FDFF 0034D45C
    11CD4394 00000074

the digits are the same as the Universal Character Mod codes.

this looks pretty sweet. i'll definitely be checking this out. it's too bad it's not a PSN game because i don't like playing games on my computer in general but free is free.

    C++ Help

while i never did this with C++, what i found that helped me learn programming languages was to mess with someone else's coding. the reason for this is because you would have to learn, analyze, and understand the logic behind their code. also, giving yourself a real reason to program really helps you get better at it. for example, take on a programming project for school or something, if you have a reason to program, it adds to the motivation to learn.

oh god, that's awfully big. doesn't that suck up pretty much all of the hard drive space for those who have the Basic version (do firmware upgrades take up room?)

also, you might want to wait until Black Friday to get your PS3. i saw a Black Friday deal to get a brand new PS3 with Uncharted and inFamous for $200.

if you've played Persona 4 i would definitely recommend getting this game since it's kind of a sequel to the game. note that while the plot is pretty interesting, it can get pretty repetitive and FAST. you end up reading / listening to story dialouge for about 30 minutes which leaves to to fight......for like 10-20 seconds. the plot is interesting, but i wish they added MUCH more gameplay to the story mode because it can honestly get very repetitive. the plot also features Persona 3 characters in case you didn't know, not all of them though. the music is taken from Persona 3 and 4 as well as a bunch of original songs added with some remixes as well. as for the fighting game components, i think it's a pretty decent fighting game. i think it's one of the better balanced fighting games out there. it's not too combo centric like Marvel Vs Capcom 3, but at the same time it's not exactly impossible to pull off very damaging combos either. also there is an auto combo feature for those who want an easy combo :)

also ps, not really related to your question but just blurting this out: i finally unlocked Nanako as a Voice Navigator in the game by beating Score Attack =) my accomplishment of the day

if it's been burned, that will happen if you bought a cheap brand DVD. make sure you buy high quality DVDs, i find that i only got good performance out of Sony DVDs when i burnt games on DVD to play on PS2. i find that this happens with movies with my DVD players as well. i don't know if that's what you're trying to do though.

    1. Not sure if this counts as bullying, but this one guy I encountered in an online game would not stop harassing me for a long time. Everytime I blocked him/her, they made a new account and proceeded to bug me again. This eventually stopped but this person just kept sending me hatemail on PS3 with messages like "Don't act like this doesn't bother you, stupid ***." Stuff like that, I forget what started it though.
    2. Typical insults are "***, noob, you suck, l2p". I don't play group online games for the most part so these insults are always directed at me
    3. Yes, I avoid online gaming for the most part because I can't stand most of the random people I encounter. I'll do it occasionally but I usually regret it within minutes. Even though you play with more players with online play, I actually find it very antisocial because of how people behave. It's like these people have never been taught social skills or common courtesy. It's also worth mentioning that a lot of these people come off as sore losers. If something doesn't go the way they want, they'll whine or disconnect. Of course, that's not everyone but it's enough to make me stay way from online gaming.
    4. Probably not, I don't generally insult people anyways.
    5. I personally think yes, it would make online gaming a lot more pleasant I would think. I think banning repeat offenders is probably the best way of handling cyberbullying. I think Nintendo's method in Wii U is a bit much though how you can only use prescreened words that have to be approved. I think that kind of stifles conversations and hurts online gaming. While I think it would be nice to do more against this, it's not really a necessity, because we always have the mute and block functions, thank God.

coincidentally, IGN put this article on their site today. it doesn't do much beyond stating the obvious but maybe the comments will have more insight:

i personally think you should keep your PS2. i don't think you'll be able to find a backwards compatible PS3, at least one that isn't used. and even if you do, the compatibility is 100% on all titles. and fyi, all models are 100% compatible with PS1 games. if you do opt for a BC PS3, make sure to get an adaptor for your PS3 memory card, you'll need it to transfer your save files. however, you can't really use it as a memory card for the PS3. you can't save directly onto the memory card while playing a game, but you don't really need to because you create virtual memory cards on the PS3. so you can skip this accessory if you don't care about your PS2 saves.

i don't really know the difference between the slim and fat models.

for storage size, it doesn't matter TOO much because you can replace the hard drive with any standard SATA drive. i bought an 80 GB PS3 and have never really had an issue with space as long as i deleted games/demoes/install data for games i don't play anymore.

for a fair price, i'm not really sure.

recommended games: Devil May Cry 4. Metal Gear Solid 4. Heavy Rain (might a rent because it's short). Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Mortal Kombat 9. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Infamous. Resident Evil 5. Resident Evil 6. that's all i can think of off the top of my head.
