Mixt spun and help up the blade flat, using his left hand to steady it, in order to block. It worked but due to the force of the strike deep cracks were made on the sword. The orbs of the sword launched out after her, aiming to collide before she could reach the ground and redirect herself.
Mixt stood back up and brushed himself off a bit. "Not too bad, most can't even touch my armor, much less dent it. Fairly visible at that. They didn't put you on the council for nothing. I'll need to reinforce that later" Mixt placed a hand over the part of the armor with the impression and with a bit of light it returned to normal. "Now where were we?" Mixt sunk back into a battle stance and twirled the blade slightly to beckon her to come attack.
Michelo chuckled. "So I finally enter society and you decide to run from it. Best be careful where you go, not that you would want to stay near here anyway but the animals are scared of what has been happening. You won't be able to live well anywhere near here until it is all over with."
Well we're talking what is the optimal time to cost balance here. Given your history I would think the used, or at the very least refurbished.
Mixt leaned forward from the bowed state into a roll to both dodge the attack and close the distance for a follow up kick.
The blue discs are CDs rather than DVDs. Particularly in the early stages of the PS2 that made them cheaper.
"I promise all fighting will be done by my power" Mixt stated with a sarcastic bow but rather than standing back up to take a battle stance he slashed out from the hunched over position.
I know that, I was just talking about another variation. As you said it, I could have seen it working in Days but doesn't really fit with the style of most Kingdom Hearts.
More specifically (for those that care) There is a laser for CDs and a laser for DVDs and the CD laser is the one that is going bad here. I would be willing to bet that if you had any blue PS2 discs that they aren't going to work either. That would be the only loss I can think of for buying a PSX over a new PS2.
"If you were worth my time you wouldn't be struggling with those. I'm certain that I'm stronger than you, but there is a chance of serious injury or death even with weaker opponents. Why subject myself to the danger? Because you believe that you are strong enough?" Mixt said after a moment a smirk crossed he face "But, I could use the entertainment I guess." With a snap the neoshadows disappeared into the ground. "Knock this sword out of my hands and I'll consider you the victor and leave."
"Sweet free pencil" locks door and walks away.
I would pencil you in, but the only thing I have to write with is pens filled with the blood of my enemies.
Eh, I don't think it is really necessary so long as they keep up with alternate costumes based on what world you are it. Might be nice for armor to have some visible effect. But as it is now in Kingdom Hearts you can have nonsensical equipment (like three crystal crowns at once) forcing either more strict equipment setups to avoid that, allowing a character look silly, or (more likely) making a logic hole by only showing one of whatever items conflict.
Permission granted. Unfortunately that is all the time we have for today, goodbye. *closes door*
"So, hold on. We have seven picky, disappearing, oversized, key shaped, butterknives of ultimate power? I'm officially lost beyond words here" Michelo said. With a sigh he continued. "I guess you'll have a chance to show me later. Hard to imagine there not being a fight during all this. Should we go already, or does anyone have something to attend to still?"
"I'll leave you with your butter knives then. Just one thing. Why put weapons at higher ranks, it is the person behind it that actually matters, isn't it?" Michelo asked, confused with Jeckhold's last statement.

Build anything. It will surely fail but then you get a pun out of it. If it does somehow work then you are too excited about the possibilities to care.
"So if we come across a lock large enough for me to fit me head in we have so far six keys that are perfect for the job, except that one is only to be used in emergencies." Michelo said with none too subtle cynicism. "Honestly I'm not sure why you would bother with a weapon so dull. Maybe their vanishing act makes for a good sneak attack or quick call to defense, as Alisha proved earlier, but for actual combat they don't seem all that great honestly."
"If you are done showing off the weaponry the food offer is still open map-man" Michelo said holding up the half of a chicken again.
