Equius raised his head, glancing towards town, feathers sticking out at the static of a large magic spike. "Eq? What is it?" She rose, mounting onto her Chocobo who almost bolted towards town. The rider didn't have to steer or anything, the big bird knew what he was doing.
Eden checked off the days. Today was Sunday. Friday was spent with a somber tone. Quietly, the Wielder of Earth hummed a sad little tune, though it was usually a happy one. And even on Sunday, on the day of no packages, she snuggled within Eq's feathers and hummed. "Happy Birthday to me... Happy Birthday to me... Wish my family sincere safety... And everyone to realize, I'm not fighting for me." she sighed and slept, a blank and glassy stare at the scenery The Dark Depths gave. She chose that as her little quiet spot, to think alone.
Thank you~!
Eden finished her tenth delivery of the morning, her Chocobo's saddle bags empty. "C'mon, back to the office." To which the Chocobo sat down abruptly, glaring at it's rider. "What?" More glaring. "Look, I need the munny, so get up before I make you." To which it yawned and set it's head down. "What!? Dammit! Be an obedient Chocobo and run to the post office! Maybe they'll have a treat or something like that. I am tired and bitter right now." At the post office, Eden had settled down on steady land. The ride, undernourishment, and lack of sleep was making her dizzy. "So, dude likes you? That's nice." she fixed her blurry eyes on some man in front of her, the boss-she presumed. "Yeah? I'm not gonna keep him." "You should. Makes work more enjoyable. Besides, you're the only one he tolerates enough to not kick off in the deliveries. "Yahoo, I am simply ecstatic." The pyro was displeased. "Keep him, name him. Besides, you're not from around these parts. It's a gift." With that, the blue-tailored man walked off to do some number crunching, or whatever bosses did. The Wielder of Earth looked to the Chocobo preening his feathers in the stable floors filled with hay. "So... name, eh?... Equius. Strong patron troll. Nice little reminder of home... or another planet, I can't tell." she sighed, petting Eq and resting in his fiery red feathers.
ooc: *shrugs* bic: Eden kept working, delivering a few smaller packages by some of the tamed Chocobos at the morning postal service. The Chocobo was free with the job, as long as she took care of him. It was a proud, fire-red bird, though the eyes were blue. It had taken an extreme liking to her, for whatever reason. Maybe Chocobos were more choosy of their riders.
ooc: Editted.
ooc: And due to time skip... bic: Eden had been working for a few hours, at night she had worked harder in a little Asian restaurant to bring in tips. Morning had come, and she was still working for the postal service, trying to earn as much money as she possibly could without passing out in the process. oocEDIT: *then just took time to re-read since this post had been done during photography class* Lunet's have that time skip a ew days, eh?
Eden nodded. "Aye, Moogle. I'm new to this world, and need a job." Having never seen a living, breathing moogle, she observed it with calculating, dead eyes.
Eden went into the main square of Radiant Garden, thankful some places remained unchanged, and watched around the bustling street. She checked around, hoping to find a job to earn munny.
"Fixing Destiny Islands after helping seal my world. Pregnant. But right now I really don't care about him. He's lucky to be able to have a home to go back to." Eden felt bitter talking about Sora, storming off the direction Aerith came from.
Eden nodded, taking the potion in small sips. "Thank you, it's nothing really. My body is just unbalanced, and my right leg joint gets the brunt of it." She winced as the leg re-adjusted itself to it's old state from years before, but it was slowly healing. It would take time, and maybe multiple doses. "Earthlings don't seep in potions all too quickly I guess..." she mumbled.
Eden nodded, limping a small bit. "I can walk, depending on the distance." She looked around, hoping for her legs to forever be back the way they used to be, what a dream. And some new glasses, her old ones were lost a long long time ago, back when she lost her body after Wesely had tazered her throat. She wondered where he'd been, but dismiss the thought.
Eden nodded. "If you can fix my leg somehow, that'd be appreciated." She sighed at herself in pity, wishing she could fix her leg, or at least never used shoulder bags in her life.
Eden looked a bit queasy at the sight of blood, from both her and Leon, wishing she knew the Cure spell. "That slipped out of my hands... I'm not so much a better fighter, just persistent." She called back her blade, dismissing it to wherever it went when not busy. Her leg was in pain, walking would hurt for a bit. She looked back to Yuffie and Glen to see any signs of emotion on their faces.
Eden ducked, trying to bring herself back up but with a greater difficulty as her leg threatened to fail her. With one swoop of her key, though her sweaty hands sent it flying towards Leon, she hoped for a hit.
Eden decided to move forward on the attack, parrying the gunblade the best she could, not without getting nicked. She really didn't care, getting closer to go into her blazing inferno once more.
Eden had little time to ponder, trying to jump back defensively, only for her right leg to buckle again. With a few colorful curses, she circled around Leon again, flames extinguished.
The flame of Leons was incorporated with the large fireball Eden had became as she ran. She liked throwing her whole body into the fight, the flames were her defense. But, that didn't stop her from charging, side-stepping a bit too soon as she tried to elbow Leon in the ribs.
And.... Go! Eden rushed to the right with a sidestep, leg slightly buckling, but she used that to her advantage. By using her buckled leg as a spring, she tried running quickly on her toes, a faster way, but one that really got more distance. If she was lucky, and with a sidestep to the left, she could get behind Leon and elbow his ribs.
Eden wanted to smirk, but that was not a good option. She remembered Squall was one hard fight, even in KH1, and she had known little about him save for the one or two Final Fantasy games she gave a crap about. But again, she stared hard at Leon some more. Muscles to throw someone off, thick legs for stability, gloves for grip. What was going to be her first move? Obviously not glaring, but maybe her fire would help. And so, the Wielder of Earth lit herself up like a Christmas Tree and awaited what move her opponent would do. She rather liked the opponent going before her, gave her time to think, strategize, one-up him as others would say.
