Riku winced, not wanting to recall bad memories. "I understand.... I guess I was just furious about the betrayal... I couldn't think clearly."he shook his head. "So uh...what are we gonna do about Gex? Take him back or let him go?"Valerie asked. Chester came out of the gummi, Rikus bag in its mouth. It was pretty sure it was safe to come out now... "eeep! One of the came back!"Selphie squeaked. "Easy there, Selph. I don't think it's a harmful one."Irvine looked at the Shadow.
The residents that were left cowered in fear, Sora's parents holding their unconcious son. Rikus mother looked at Eden, a bit suprised. "Eden, he killed so many with that beast.... How can you say he's innocent?"Riku snapped. Irvine went over to the residents, Selphie making sure Sora was okay. Valerie didn't say anything, wondering what was up with Eden after what had happened.
"No. A heartless kinda possessed you and turned you evil. Gexln then betrayed us. The ashes are from battling you and the fires off in the distance are from the main island..."Valerie explained. "That pretty much sums it up."Selphie said. "What do we do about him...?"Irvine looked over to Gexln. With the heartless gone it was 10 against one, Riku smirking at the odds.
"Did I do it...?"Valerie refused to open her eyes, covered in the ashes. Sora put down the barrier, residents gasping as the brunette passed out from exhaustion. "Way to go, Valerie!"Riku gave the young brunette a thumbs up. "She did it...by herself."Selphie was amazed. "Well whaddya know..."Irvine chuckled. Now all focus could go to Gexln with all of the fighters....
Valerie winced, trying to keep up the protection spell in case the heartless tried anything. She took her daggers, using the lines as a guideline to the weakpoint. "Light..."at the words her daggers started to glow a glimmer of white. "Here goes nothing...!"She dug both of her daggers into the middle. Sora gasped at the bird, hoping Valerie was okay. He was reaching his limits with the heartless attacking the barrier, not sure if his magic would last much longer.
Valerie kept up the protect spell, trying to find its way to the light... "Hold on, Eden..." "Riku!"Sora took an elixir from one of his pockets on his belt, tossing it to Riku. Riku took the elixir, gulping it down. he shivered, feeling refreshed. "Sora, hang tight! We'll get these heartless out of your hair soon!"Selphie said. "I doubt 'soon', Selph.."Irvine groaned.
"Protect!"Selphie cast a barrier around herself and Irvine. Sora and Riku watched Gexln charge, Sora unable to do anything. "Protect!"Riku said. but nothing happened... "no! No no no no NO!"he couldn;t believe his magic was gone. "Protect!"Valerie tried casting a shield on herself, hoping it would be enough. OOC:SON OF A CHOCOBO, CURFIEW!DX
"Reflect!"Riku cast the reflect spell for Valerie sake at the dark firaga. Valerie growled, knowing she wasn't going to get Eden by just talking to the beast. "GIVE EDEN BACK!"She tossed her daggers at the beast, the daggers sparked with thunder magic. Irvine shot some Blizzard magic at Shadow Sora and the copies while Selphie fired a thunder spell at Gexln. OOC:Gaaaah, this feels like battle for Radiant Garden all over again. We better get this done by 11 because I don't want to wait until night time tommorow!
Riku winced at the copies. He definately needed help. "I got your back..."Selphie said. "Me too..."Irvine joined Rikus side. Valerie focused on the heartless in Irvines place. "Eden, please! You can fight it!"she yelled.
"Protect!"Valerie yelled, hoping that it would work. Riku gasped as the barrier surrounded him, looking at Valerie. "I did it... I did it! YES!"she jumped in joy. "Lookout!"Selphie launched a water spell at a Neoshadow that was about to pounce on Valerie. Irvine started using magic, launching fire spells to scorch the heartless attacking. The big one would have to wait.

"Agh!"Riku winced at the claws. "Riku, I'm really sorry for this... Thunder!"Valerie zapped Riku and the neoshadows with the thunder spell in an attempt to get the neoshadows off. Riku cried out at the thunder spell, doing his best to tolerate the pain. Sora saw the fighting, fear in his eyes. He looked over to the heartless bird. "Eden, snap out of it..."he whimpered. He looked over to Gexln. "We... We trusted you..."He winced as heartless attacked at the barrier, maintaining focus on protecting the refugees.
Sora gasped in fear at the sight of his shadow self. Gexln...! Riku took Way to Dawn, focused on the shadow Sora. "I'll handle this one myself." "but Ri-"Valerie saw the serious look on Rikus face. I guess he wants to finish his own creation himself.... Riku charged at the shadow, slashing at it with Way to Dawn. "You! You mockery! You monster! I will gladly take you out of this world again!"He yelled, furious. Selphie yelped at how angry Riku was, not sure if she should help take on the heartless Sora or not...
"Bring it on...."Valerie got her daggers. "We trusted you...."Riku growled, taking Way to Dawn. Sora had a barrier around the people, protecting them from the heartless attacking. "You're going down! You and the giant bird!"Selphie said, taking her nunchaku. Irvine carefully aimed his rifle at the giant heartless, aiming for the area the heart would be. He fired a shot, hoping it would be a hit that would end it.
The firey inferno was over with, Sora and Riku stopping the spell so everyone could land safely. "You're not ruining these islands!"Riku yelled, slashing through the heartless with Way to Dawn. "Yeah! We won't let any creatures take over our home world!"Selphie attacked the heartless with her nunchaku. "We're an island full of proud people, you can never ruin that!"Irvine shot at the heartless with his rifle. "And you guys are going to fall, no matter what!"Valerie kept her focus on Gexln. "Including you, traitor!" Meanwhile Chester had heard the call, and it knew exactly what the heartless were aiming for. The keyblade masters trusted him, the humans were the only 'family' it knew at this point other than it's old pack. There was no way it would let the humans get hurt, but it didn't know what to do...
"Thats it! Keep it up!"Riku kept his focus on the protega. Irvine kept firing at the bird to weaken it more. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"Valerie asked. "Uh-huh!"Selphie nodded. "Thunder!"Both of them shot thunder spells at the bird heartless to stun it.
"Protega!"Sora and Riku both cast barriers with the firey infernos, keeping as many people safe as they could. "Riku, hang on!"Selphie cast a protect spell on Riku so any attacks wouldn't harm him. "You're going down, Gexln! and so is that bird!"Valerie yelled.
"Everyone! Short range attackers focus on Gexln! Long range attackers focus on the heartless!"Riku commanded. Selphie went over to Valerie, casting a protect spell on herself. Riku stayed put, wanting to rid of the traitor himself. Irvine stayed put, firing shots at the bird. Everyone who couldn't fight had managed to hide, Sora staying with his parents, the mayor, and Rikus mother.
"Protega!"Riku cast a barrier around himself and Valerie. "Heeey! let that person go!"Selphie yelled at the bird. Irvine fired a shot, hoping to catch the birds attention.
"We have company!"Irvine spotted the heartless, getting his rifle. The people that couldn't fight rushed to hide, Sora going with his parents. "Guys, look out!"Selphie said to Valerie and Jeffrey. "Gexln! Leave the people of this world alone!"Riku growled. "I'm coming dooown!"Valerie said. Riku heard this, catching Valerie as she jumped so the girl wouldn't hurt herself. "Why didn't you jump in the water?"he asked. "That is classified information."Valerie said.
