Oh dear me, poetry, and rhyme too! Let's try my usual tactic of performing poetry. Spoiler A king rules his people, but at the same time, they rule him. He chooses to do what is best for them, for if he does not, it's him they will tear limb from limb. the people have an obligation to serve the King, as the King has an obligation to serve the king's role. The King is, after all, but one person. His has no more value than any other soul. His blood, his lineage and his power are without consequence. All that matters is that he leads his country to success. Even then, the ability of the king is of little importance. His purpose is to be a standard, a figurehead to impress. He gives people a common goal, a common leaded, a common name to blame for the atrocities they commit. For the king also has to shoulder the guilt of the country. He alone takes responsibility, no matter whose throat is slit. The most important thing to remember is that the king belongs to the country the country does not belong to the king.
Find a Youtube vid and I'll post it up. Get in at the right time, and it may even be stuck up all day.

The solution to your tying problems is simply providing the tie-breaker vote yourself. Wait until it closes (or afterwards) and vote. Merely the announcement of such would be sufficient to dissuade tie-forcers, for forcing a tie would no longer be problematic for you, and would instead give you the ability to essentially decide who gets QT. Just my 2c.

If you can, see what you can do to get past the separation. Depending on the circumstances, as Noroz said, there may be ways. doing that may help. You could also try to see how the other half is coping with it, and see what advice they have. Otherwise, your only option is to let her know that you're there. You can also do your best to keep her mind off her partner somehow. Various activities. Be creative.
That's terrible. Having to stay at your girlfriend's house for a month. I feel so sorry for you. Being around her will be fun. Being around her parents may not.

Spoiler I don't think it's beta!John. We get beta!Dave and beta!Aradia because they're time-travellers who returned to the alpha timeline. beta!John didn't return or do anything. He just died in an alternate timeline and subsequently ceased to exist. I think John's just being derpy again. Davesprite being alive is completely badass. According to Toby's Twitter, he's making a Davesprite themesong. I expect that will play some part in future, especially if Davesprite does what we think he will. Oh, and Jadesprite needs to suck less. :<

Fixed that for you. All Windows computers tend to leave me feeling like this, although my problems aren't as numerous as yours. (Although usually they're just as severe, if not more so.) It'd probably get better if I were to spend more time on them, but for now, they're rather unworkable for me. At some point, I expect I'll try out either Windows, or I'll switch to Linux. If I'm receiving hand-me-downs from my father, then I'll happily use Mac OS X, but if I'm buying my own, I'm going for the cheap stuff.
