Xenree flinched and Crowley smirked, "Cute...a boy who chases after his dear friend to save her from nothing. From a path that she chose from the beginning. And as for the projects....mine has by far surpassed those of Maleficent and Vexen. My project is successful in every way. And the tests are running perfectly with them both." Xenree slowly approached Orias, walking smoothly and slowly, she lifted her hand to his face, just barely hovering over his skin, "Orias.... You used to smile a lot more....how can a few short days have affected you so much?"
Nice. Where ya been all this time? I missed you.
Ah not much really. What's up with you?
Crowley and Xenree turned at the same time and Crowley laughed, "Xemnas....?! Please, do not confuse me with a Nobody who's been dead for years. I am his successor...a human born of darkness and dark magic who craves knowledge. I am Crowley. I have perfected Vexen's project...and Maleficent's personal project." Xenree's eyes glittered as she looked at Orias, "You shouldn't have come here....how did you even get here?!" Outrage filled her voice.
Ren hustled his friend down to the dinning hall and slid into his seat next to Kaila. He started to fiddle with his bone bracelet and glared at a few oggling girls. When will my life consist of only my studies and not female activity...? Gabriel laughed heartily at Uriel's glare and Kaila's words, "You wound me for sure my dear Kaila. Uriel will keep her secrets until she is thousands of years older than she is now. Or father commands her to spill her secrets...but I do not see that happening in the futures..." Gabriel's normal cryptic words set Uriel iinto a rigid posture in her seat. "Must you yammer on like a bumbling baffoon Gabriel? You sound insane talking so much and yet so little." The Seraphim watched Tori carefully for a moment, "I'm afraid Seraphim of any court do not have names anymore young Tori... When you become a Seraphim...you lose your name and gain a higher status and understanding of the world and Heaven. Perhaps...one day I shall tell you my name." His shoulders shook with silent laughter as he faded away into the light that shone through the window. Kiel turned his sharp eyes to the girl who'd spoken to him, "Zadkiel...just call me Kiel...it at least sounds normal." His eyes turned back to the teachers who seemed to be sitting gloating over everyone, "Wretched place this is...."
Martel gently glanced at Faya and nodded, "Neither do I...but for the sake of Lumini and Haven...we must. He drove me from my home...killed my brother...I will never forgive him but I must try to be civil." She walked on into the city...feeling everyone's gaze drift to her as her natural light glowed softly around her, despite her efforts to hide the light with her cloak. "S'cuse me miss....you're not from here are ya? Such a pretty lady shouldn't be walking around at night. Why don't you come back with me to my place..." a man stepped out from the shadows and grabbed Martel's arm, "Please...I have no desire to consort with your kind." "Ouch...you wound me miss..but you don't have a choice." Ash listened to the one voice he didn't appreciate calling out to him and stood, quickly turning to face him as he approached, "You again...." Ash's Keyblade appeared in his hand from a mass of darkness and Sharpflash quietly questioned his master, What're we doing Master Novella? Adrien hurried Cat along. He could feel her nervous energy crackling around them and it drew the attention of nearby guards. "Cat...control your feelings. We'll get caught easily if you don't stop thinking about Ash." even though he whispered, several guards turned toward them. "Hey you two...you just said something about Captain Novella." Adrien ushered Cat behind him, "We're not looking for trouble... We seek Mr. Novella to help this girl speak to her Keyblade." The guard's metal helmet was intricately designed with swirls symbolizing darkness and an odd looking harp symbolizing Haven's Goddess Apollimi. "The girl can't speak to her Keyblade? Ah...right this way then. Follow the road, last I heard, Captain Novella was at the Nom De Nom." Adrien nodded and shuffled Cat away from the guards.
Xenree reached a round area inside the cave and touched the empty pedestal. Something inside her head and heart cracked and she dropped to her knees. Holding her chest, Xenree gasped for air. Crowley's "fixing" snapped off her heart and mind and she felt tears of pain roll down her cheeks. "Crowley!" As soon as she'd called him, he was there. Tanned face concerned and yellow eyes glowing with anger, "What have you done, Xenree?" "There's truth in your lies...doubt in your faith....all I've got's what you didn't take! How could you leave me to suffer!" "Xenree...I never..." "Don't lie! I should you leave you alone with all your secrets and regrets!" Crowley glared at her, "You can't..." Xenree turned away from him and sighed, "You're right about that....I can't leave you. My contract....how long?" "Seven years....then you will be consumed by the darkness you long for."
Nova shivered...more or less from her side of the poison and Istar grumbled. Alice whimpered and inched herself closer to Auran. "Seems to me...these two aren't going to be apart until one is dead..." "All the better...lets kill the stupid boy before he wakes up." Nova's katana clashed against one of Istar's heavy blades before it crashed down on Auran's body. "I'll kill you before you have a chance to hurt the one Alice has chosen." He grunted and his sword disappeared, "Chosen? For what? Revitalizing Lladranna? Don't make me laugh, Nova."
The ringing in Lightning's ears immediately stopped when she heard Grey's words. Anger built up in her like the rising tide. "You'll....HELP....Jenova?! Do what it takes...." she shook her head as if she could erase his words from her memory that way, "You don't know the first thing about doing what it takes! You do what it takes and you think that turns you back into a normal human!? It makes you a crystal...and the rest of them into crystals! Snow didn't do what it takes...he refused our focus...WE refused our focus and made a better focus come true!" Lightning's gunblade glowed with a Tetrastrike as he emotions burned hot with fury. "You think that Eidolin chose you because it wanted you to DO WHAT IT TAKES!? Eidolins will never choose a l'Cie that follows the orders of a fal'Cie that unwillingly branded them! You...Grey....are a failure." Lightning could see in Grey what she'd seen in herself before when she'd spoken to her own group when she was a l'Cie about her duties. 'I do as I'm told...no questions asked.' Akira nodded and glanced back at Lightning, she was yelling at...Grey? "What the....? Light...C'mon Jaden...I'm not so sure Lightning's happy about seeing everyone. Something's wrong." She gently pulled on Jaden and hurried toward Light.
Luce remained perfectly still, not trusting herself to stand beside him and closer to the blood she craved. She bit her lip and nodded quickly, "Uh..y-yes..." Luce silently hated herself for her addiction. Alcohol was fine for her guilty conscience but the blood made it worse. Her shoulders slumped, "It's definately been way too damn long since I've had sex.." she mumbled, glancing up at Lenny to see if he'd heard. Luce's face was already hot from embarrassment. She scolded herself silently, I need to keep my mouth shut. Her pale eyes avoided any sort of reflective surface in Lenny's room...much like she did in her own room and everywhere else. Despising your own appearance had that effect on you.
The Seraphim stepped back and his wings faded away, "Your wing is now restored. A touch of a Seraphim's wing against a wounded wing can heal in a matter of minutes." The Seraphim turned lightly on his heel and started to leave the room, "It's best you head to dinner now. Uriel plans to annouce a plan for your schooling here." Gabriel frowned lightly, "Always so cruel Kaila. Are you just moody because you haven't cuddled Ren this afternoon or is it something more?" he smiled and laughed, drawing Uriel's burning glare.
Xenree twirled her Keyblade reverse style and focused darkness into her blade. "Darkness devour! Ain Soph Aur!" tossing a concentrated ball of darkness at the Large Body Heartless, dissolving it in darkness. The cave rumbled from the impact and Xenree hurried on.
Lightning backed up. Her head ached with memories from the sight of the Shiva Sisters. Of her leaving Snow to fend for himself and free Serah from the ground in Lake Bresha....of trying to leave Hope behind and then fighting her own Eidolin....refusing Bartandelous' need for them to do as their focus required...and finally the last severe memory she had was fighting Orphan and learning the truth...Seeing Serah's smile as she hugged Snow and realizing she had the rest of her free life to do as she pleased. Lightning dropped her gunblade and touched her head. Time being in crystal stasis had left her ageless...her mission to explore the rest of Pulse...to find her real purpose in the world... Akira ran to Jaden's aid, "Jaden! Are you alright?
Ryku lingered at the sight where Lynne was shot and that runner's house burned down. How sad is it that I don't know many EBO officers because of my own status.... All he smelt was blood and fire. Shaking his head, Ryku snapped his fingers and a cleanup crew jumped into action, scrubbing away the blood on the ground and clearing away parts of the house that had exploded and flung scraps of glass and wood onto the ground. "Hurry it up...I don't want to be lingering here if more Runners come around to scavenge the remains. Or worse...civillians." Lynne fumed in her bed, more surgery's....more pain-killers...more bed rest. You have to be kidding me... Feeling restless, Lynne watched her heart monitor...they said her heart was beating slower than normal... Lynne could see it and her spirits fell. "Why is this happening to me...?" she mumbled to herself.
You gotta clear some space. xD <3
Nova weakly snarled at Istar, "Stop...leave Istar. We don't need you around at the moment. Alice is fine..." she touched a finger to Auran's forehead to soothe his dream. Alice slowly opened her eyes and frowned, Auran...?
Ash glanced at Kegan. "I'm sure. I should do this alone Kegan. I wouldn't want you to get hurt. You are not prepared for intense battles like this. I am." he turned on his heel to look at her and sighed, "I have the inkling that you're not going to leave me be are you? So be it then." he didn't wait for her response.
Xenree walked silently through the Cave of Wonders. Her memories fuzzy....her thoughts incomprehendable. The only thing she could hear semi-clearly, Who's talking to me...? The ground trembled and suddenly Xenree was sent flying across the room. She landed heavily in a pile of gold and sand, "Nngh!" A Large Body Heartless had struck her. Standing, Xenree shook sand out of her hair and off her coat and summoned Dark Void. Crowley shifted uneasily in the abandoned Castle Oblivion. Xenree must not fail...ever. His eyes shifted to the orb in front of him as he monitored Xenree's progress through it. She moved easily as she fought...a bit mechanically though...he might've over-done it with the control aspect...
Ash turned on his heel, away from Ivan and Kegan and headed for the door. By smell alone he found his way around, following the stench of sweat and blood, he found his way to the area where the fighters prepared for their next battle. "Is this a private party...or can anyone join?" though his pale eyes were dull, they still gleamed with determination a bit. But black outfit untouched by dirt or blood and his white hair unruffled or matted by sweat and blood. "I wish to enter and fight..." his words were absolute.
Renee bolted away from home with Merlin and headed in the direction a few of her classmates had gone in. I must get stronger...I have to.
