I don't think Kaiba officially activated his effect yet, so wouldn't XYZ be destroyed? Regardless, he chained MST, so Kunai is destroyed.
I use my trap card! Kunai with Chain! And I attach it to Gearfried the Swordmaster, raising his ATK to 3100, and using his effect to destroy your XYZ Dragon Cannon!
