I especially like when it's snowing and I'm inside reading and it's all warm and stuff because my mom's been baking cookies all day. This is lovely. I love this time of year.
I vote that ChalkSpam Zone posts count for me and only me. <.<
I'm texting you every day. <;
Realizing that she was going to have to carry the woman out of here, she let a sigh of relief leave her lips for the mere fact that the girl didn't look as if she weighed that much. "I'm gonna pick you up now," she muttered to the woman, one of her arms going underneath the girls knees and the other going behind her back. Lifting her up, Tatum had completely overestimated her own strength. "Guys...I can hardly pick her up," the nineteen year old girl half-whined. She didn't spend her time lifting weights. No, instead she spent it curled up in her bed, sleeping or reading a book. Her strength was always the last thing on her mind. "I can probably get her up, but I'm going to have to stop a lot."

` OOC thread located here. _storyline, Demons have taken over the world - disgusting, vile demons. They come in all shapes and sizes, some being stronger than others. But they all have one main goal: destroy everything in their path before they are destroyed. The only current way to stop them is for a Shadowhunter to kill them. Shadowhunters (also known as Nephilim) are humans with Angel blood in them. They're allowed to draw runes on their body, making them stronger than any ordinary human. Their main cause on this earth was to protect humans from demons. But...wait a minute.. Where are they? What happened to Alicante? It seems that they've just disappeared without any trace of where they might have gone. So who is going to destroy the demons and protect the world? Or has everyone just been doomed from the beginning? The Downworlders have not a clue of what could have happened to the Nephilim, but they don't mind. Downworlders are human-demon hybrids and despite being half-demon, they don't particularly like them. So the world's not doomed afterall, is it? Wrong. There's only so much a Downworlder can do before it just gives up. They're strong, but they weren't created for the sole purpose of destroying demons - the Nephilim were. And the fact that it seems like the demons just continue to get stronger with each passing day doesn't help much. But, they have a plan. Maellertach is a sword that gives you complete control over demons. The only problem is, you need to perform The Ritual of Infernal Conversion on it in order for it to work. It's not that hard of a ritual. Not at all. You only need to heat the sword and soak it in the blood of four Downworlder children. Not so bad, right? The adults are alright with this, because they feel as if it's truly the only way they'll be able to save the world. Unfortunately, they might be right about that. The ones that do have an issue with this plan are..well, the children themselves. They're not necessarily children. They range anywhere from fourteen to eighteen. They understand exactly what is going on, and none of them want to sacrifice themselves, even if it means protecting the world. A group of Downworlders decided to run away, attempting to escape their possible fate. You're part of this group of rebels. You've decided that your life is more valuable, and though that may be a little selfish, you have a good reason - once the Downworlders get control over the demons, it's going to go to their head. They'll become power hungry. They'll use the demons for the littlest issues, making the world a whole lot worse than it was before. You don't want to be a part of that, so you broke away. For the most part, you're just trying to blend in with humans. Werewolves, vampires, faeries, and warlocks trying to be human. It's kind of silly when you think about it, isn't it? But they're able to do it well, and for a while they live normal lives (other than killing the occasional demon). That is until they hear news that they're being searched for. And something worse than that, one from each race will be sacrificed in the ritual. Think of it as dying for your country. It's such a great honor, isn't it? _children of the N I G H T, Vampires. They usually drink animal blood, but occasionally they'll slip up and take in human blood. It's not like they mean to - it's their instinct. The sun can burn a vampire, but there's a spell that warlocks and witches can perform on a vampire to allow them out in the sunlight for a few hours. But other than that, you're stuck inside. You also have this dying hatred for werewolves. Even if you think you could possibly like one, something deep inside of you will hate it with everything you have. _children of the M O O N, Werewolves. They're born human, but have contracted the lycanthrope disease from a werewolf bite. In their human form, they have enhanced speed and strength. Their first transformation is during a full moon, but after that, they can change form whenever they please. Though, they'll always change during a full moon. They have the same hatred for vampires as vampires do for them, though it seems as if werewolves dislike vampires more. Putting these two races together will almost always end in a fight. _children of L I L I T H, Warlocks and Witches. These strange characters have just about every power you could think of, but only one power do they hold dear to their heart (you're able to choose what that is). Lilith's children are the offspring of humans and demons, but they usually take the form of the demon. The good thing about being a warlock or witch, though, is that you're able to change shape whenever you want. This makes it easier to blend into the human world. _children of L Y L I C, Faeries. These beautiful creatures have angel blood mixed with demon blood. They are cruel and cunning and they tend to take advantage of others. But despite all of this, they cannot tell a lie. Though, they can get extremely creative with the truth. Their favorite pasttime is toying with humans emotions, and then also tend to mess with the other races of Downworlders if they get too bored. They have retractable wings, and they hardly ever have them out. ` rules_ • Please don't godmode. • Also, please don't make your character invincible. They will get hurt - badly, too. • Try and stick with the roleplay. I'm not asking you to write a reply twice a day, but at least three posts a week should be able to keep the roleplay going. • When writing replies, try to write at least a paragraph. That's around five sentences. If you're having difficulty doing so, try and add detail. • You're allowed up to two different characters, and each has to be of a different race. • You don't have to have read the books in order to join, since there are no actual characters from them in here. You only need basic knowledge of the Downworlders and I think I've given enough to you. But if you have questions on a certain race, please ask. • If you're leaving or quitting the roleplay, please tell me. • Cussing is permitted, but it's limited. Don't make every other word be the F word. • I'd prefer if the most physical you got with another person was kissing them. If you feel the need to go further, take it to PM. • All character applications go in the OOC thread. Not in the actual roleplay thread. Thank you. <3 • If you have any questions at all, ask them here. Or you can VM me, I don't mind. Just please ask a question if you have one - don't just assume what the answer would be.
Not yet. o: One of the shinigami will say when the round begins, and once it does, the accusations and killings begin~
It was the greatest decision I had ever made.
I don't think posts count in that thread, or anything else that is just in the Usual Spot. If it's in one of the subsections, I think they do count (unless stated otherwise), but I'm not completely sure.
Tatum glanced down at the victim she had helped down and sighed. She honestly didn't think they'd be waking up any time soon, so it'd probably be best if they just headed back already (dragging the victims along?). At Scott's comment to Luce, the white haired girl couldn't help but allow for a laugh to leave her lips. "Scott, she is a girl. I'm sure there's a lovely feminine side to all girls." At the end of her comment, she heard a little cough and looked around to see where it had come from. Her eyes stopping on the woman she had gotten down, Tatum keeled next to her and wiped a stray piece of hair away from her face. "Hey there," she cooed, unsure if the woman knew what was going on at all. "We're gonna get you out of here soon." The woman wasn't able to muster up any strength to speak, but she nodded her head slightly, allowing Tatum to know that she understood.

The snow angel got significantly bigger as she worked, and a small giggle escaped Casey's mouth. She didn't remember the last time she had actually played in snow, and although it was by herself, she was still have a blast. Snapping out of the daze, though, when she heard someone speaking to her, she opened one eye and noticed a girl kneeling before her. "Oh, silly! I am completely fine!" she slurred out, sitting up in the snow. Her head immediately felt dizzy and she actually regretted drinking that much in such a short amount of time. Directing her gaze downwards, she noticed the bottle of vodka in the girls hand. Her bottle of vodka (okay, so maybe it wasn't her bottle of vodka, but she had finished the majority of it so it could just be considered hers for now). Reaching out, she practically snatched the bottle out of the girls hand. Just as she was about to reply to the girls question, she heard something land with a soft 'thud' next to her in the snow. Looking over to what had dropped, she saw an unopened bottle of Smirnoff laying in the snow. Leaning towards her, she held out her arm that didn't hold her own bottle of alcohol, and grabbed the unopened one as well. Hearing a voice call from up above, she looked directly up into the night sky, seeing nothing. "God?" she asked, her eyes getting wide, still unsure of where the voice had come from. But when she heard it again, she followed it to the balcony and saw a boy there. He was obviously not sober - probably worse than she was. "How about you come down and get it?" she called up to him, wondering if it would even be possible for him to make it down there. The thought of him stumbling around, attempting to make his way to his unopened bottle made her laugh, and she looked at the girl in front of her, not even completely sure as to who it was. "You should be nice! Help him down!" she practically shouted to the girl, not meaning to. "I'll stay here and guard the drinks." Tatum couldn't help but become depressed while lowering down the bodies. She got the one of a petite woman, probably in her late thirties. It was hard to tell from the multiple scratches and blood splattered across her face. Laying the body onto the ground, the gathered a sharp rock from off the dirt ground and slit open the tightly bound wrapping. There was no gasp of air, and a frown crossed the young girl's face. "We're in the middle of nowhere," she muttered, glancing around at the others. They'd have to get out of the forest first before they could get to a doctor - and it's not like they could call one either, since there was absolutely no service out here. She wasn't sure what they were supposed to do. Would it be a good idea for them to split up? Two of them head into town and search for the hospital, the other two head back to camp? She kept her mouth closed, though. Either Scott or Adam would think of something better to do. Maybe even Luce.
