Roxas had his right hand on his upper arm, having paused mid-inspection to see if Namine was alright. She said she was, but he kept his gaze on her, his eyebrows furrowing. Smith was messing with her again, and that only made Roxas want to find him even more.
Ah I see. I can't wait for college. I hate my high school. Dx
Roxas caught movement out of the corner of his eye, turning his head to face forward. He saw Namine and the way she seemed to be holding her head, which instantly triggered an alarm within him. "Namine?" he called. What if Smith was messing with her again?
For your dorm??
Roxas finally was able to pull the fabric away from his shoulder, taking the cream-colored top off completely and now just wearing his black high-collared tank. He looked back to his shoulder, seeing that it was still bleeding, despite the fact that he had gotten hurt a while ago. But he couldn't really see the wound, just the blood.
x3 So what'd you get shopping?
Roxas started to take off his cream-colored top, having no problem getting it off his right shoulder. His left shoulder, however, was another story. He winced, squeezing his eyes shut for a second before turning his gaze to that shoulder. He got his right arm out of his sleeve, so he started to gently pull his jacket down from his shoulder so that it wouldn't sting.
xD Good timing then.
Roxas looked up when he saw Namine sit in front of him again, also locating the supplies she had with her. He had a feeling he would definitely be needing it. He looked up at her eyes and expressed a small amount of gratitude through his own, then seeing the question written on her face. He could see that she was wondering if she needed to help him, and he really didn't know. The only way to find out would be to see how severe the wound was.
Nothing much. Woke up later than I expected. xDD You?
Roxas push his short-sleeve up a little, seeing that the blood only traveled further up his arm, like he had thought. He made a face of discomfort at the sight, slowly pulling his sleeve back down. He knew he was going to to have to do more than that, though, to clean the wound.
Hey there. =)
Roxas lifted his eyes then, watching Namine leave until he turned his attention back to himself. He turned his head to his left to look down at his shoulder, biting his lip. It was aching pretty badly, and he wasn't sure how the injury was. Looking at it now, he could see a little of the blood from his injury coming through the cloth of his top jacket. And the blood that was along his arm only proved that it probably wasn't good.
Roxas nodded, lowering his eyes slightly. He hated that Namine had to help him when she was clearly the one that needed care. His shoulder hurt, yeah, but it wasn't more important than her. But if I don't look at it now, it'll only give me a disadvantage against Smith, Roxas thought logically. It was probably best that he examined the wound now, instead of later when it could possibly get much worse.
Roxas wasn't sure. For one thing, his shoulder hurt pretty badly, and if the injury was ugly, he didn't want Namine to see it. But the thing was, he didn't know how well he could clean his shoulder on his own, considering the place of injury. He probably would need Namine's help...
Roxas brought his hand back to his own knee when Namine stood up, the boy looking up at her from his spot on the edge of the coffee table. "You don't have to. It's okay," he said, thinking of her first. She was terrified; he could see that. She didn't need to be tending to him...
Roxas looked down when Namine spoke of his injury, seeing the blood that went all the way up his arm and disappeared under his sleeve. "Oh..." He'd forgotten about his shoulder because he was so focused on her, and it had been a good distraction. Now that she mentioned it, though, he could feel it aching.
Roxas kept his hand on Namine's knee, lightly squeezing it again. Seeing her so scared really got to him, and he knew he had to use that as more motivation; he couldn't let Smith get far with this.
"I know," Roxas replied automatically, having expected her to say something like that. It was written all over Namine's face. "I'm scared too. But we're gonna get him, okay? You're gonna be fine, I promise." He wasn't going to let anything happen to her. He had to keep that promise.
Roxas's eyes softened at the sight of Namine's, the boy squeezing the knee his hand was on lightly. He hated seeing her so scared, but he and Sora and Riku were going to take care of this. He was going to protect her at all costs.
