"Okay," Kairi said, nodding slightly once she met Sora's eyes again. If he didn't mind, then she would do what he suggested. She was beginning to feel more tired as they continued talking, so resting would be nice.
Well why didn't you say so? I don't want to keep you if you're that exhausted. xD
Kairi followed Sora's gaze to the pillow. "You don't mind?" she asked then, thinking of how if she did what he mentioned, then he would be sitting up. He'd slept like that before, she knew, but still. Kairi was concerned for Sora's comfort as well; that part of the relationship wasn't one-sided.
Same. xD I've been tired for a while; that second wind's wearing off.
Kairi lifted her eyes to Sora, hesitating with her answer. After a few seconds she finally spoke it. "...What if I want to stay with you?" she asked softly, rethinking what she had gone over only seconds before. She wasn't sure what kind of answer she was expecting, but Sora deserved to know her thoughts.
Well, how long do you plan to be on tonight?
Kairi lowered her eyes to Sora's chest, biting her lip in thought. But, what if she wanted to stay with him? It was something she noticed that she wanted to do a lot of since he came back, but she didn't think that was a bad thing. After things with Nathaniel, Kairi realized that nobody else could truly replace Sora in her heart. It was impossible, and she was sure her feelings showed when she was with him. But sometimes, she still had nightmares about Nathaniel. She wasn't sure if she wanted to sleep alone, if she had the chance to be beside Sora tonight.

"Where will you sleep?" Kairi asked then, at the same time thinking about Sora's suggestion. Would Namine care if Kairi slept in her room? She didn't think so... But where would Sora rest?
It's actually really rare. I thought my internet was just acting up again. xD
Sora's words triggered Kairi's thoughts, the girl not having considered her own exhaustion until now. Since the movie was over and it was quiet, she realized that she was in fact tired. Certainly she could fall asleep if she closed her eyes for a few minutes. "Yeah, I am," she said in realization, her eyes on Sora still.
Yes. Dx That was terrible.
Kairi's smile grew a little at the words, nodding slightly. "I can see that," she said quietly, not wanting to wake her two blonde friends sleeping on the other sofa. She wondered when Namine and Roxas fell asleep; she only remembered seeing Sora doze off. Regardless, she was happy he was awake now.
I remember one time it was close to an hour before. Ugh. =(
Kairi briefly glanced at the couple not far from her and Sora, her eyes lowering to the floor until she felt a gaze on her. The girl knew instantly who it was, sensing the innocence behind the stare. She turned her head and looked up at the boy closest to her, her smile still against her lips as she met his blue eyes.
That was what, half an hour? =/
Kairi's smile grew warm at the sight of Sora being groggy. She hadn't seen him like this since before his mission, so she missed it. And witnessing it now reminded her of how cute she thought he was like this. However, she lowered her eyes, her head still on his shoulder. She wasn't going to stare, especially when he was so vulnerable and sleepy.
Good, so it wasn't just me. xD
Kairi smiled slightly in amusement, but otherwise turned her sight back to the boy beside her. She caught the movement just a second ago, and looking at him now, she could see Sora was coming out of his sleep.
