That is they think that there is a force behind evolution. And yet you start talking about creators? I would say go for it. I'd say that the only case you shouldn't catch up with old friends is if you fell out with them and that's why you haven't talked but it doesn't seem that way. One of my best friends at school went to Canada two years before we were going to go to highschool, and three years later he called me up and we met up when he visited here. We just hung out like we did when we were at school together. We were different from back then but we still had the same roots that made us who we are. A family friend of mine only get to see eachother every year or so but we just treat eachother the same and hang out as we always do. As long as you don't rage against your friends and don't talk because of it, a year or three of not talking to them is fine. So sure do give them a call. And just hang out and do whatever you usual do.
High school is crap. But it is what you make it, so do whatever you want to do and do it well and as long as you do that it makes it bearable. lyk srsly guyz I hated highschool but in my last year I realized how it helped me and how it did things for me that are left to me now. And I loved being on stage so I got involved with everything I could and it made it fun.

I laugh at the hypocrisy you display. You talk about not agreeing with 90% of a text, and yet you only discuss parts of an argument that you think you can do the best at bringing down. I said before that the Bible contains rules from the society made by the people. They may have heard from God or they may have just claimed to in order to get some leverage. People lie about God to get their way. It is all through history. The best example I can think of at the moment is King Henry VI of England. He made his own church and rules in it for his needs - there is little evidence that he honestly did it in divine inspiration. When I first mentioned that the Bible was written by man you argued that Jesus states he supports the law. When I explained it you simply turned a blind eye to it. If it helps think of the Bible like a library - you've got your history sections, your fables, your songs etc. By quoting parts of the Bible which tell us some rules your reading in the history section and not the D.I.Y. section. But yet you are stating that this acient history is instructions on how to make a stable family in today's lifestyle? Or how we should respond to someone not being of our faith? You can pick on the bad points of a book till the cows come home. But I've never heard someone complain about the parts that change people's lives for the better. The Bible changed my life because I knew and understood that the history section was something to take into account, so I know what the origins of my faith are. But the parts that have more bearing on my life are the 10% that does apply in todays society. That's why I defend the Bible. I guess you are going to try and make an argument about the 90% of the points I'm making again. So instead of looking at the bad points, take a look of the 10% of good for a change?

He's telling them that he isn't there to rip down religion and all it stands for, but to prove that he is going to show them what the both the Law of God and the prophercies mean. Jesus pratically yells at the people trading in the temple- he turns over a table in anger (he was a pacifist) because they have broken one of the laws God made, whereas the laws of the people had no problem with people making the temple a market.
