"I have a feeling that I'm being followed," Sameire told Gemini. She didn't want to hurt the Crossbreeds feelings. "I just don't want to get involved with anyone because it's dangerous. You see, I haven't really had any good friends, and I wouldn't want my first friend to be hurt because of me."

"I'm trying to find out what are lies in my life," Samiere replied. "I think my brother, Tristan, is the only one who can answer my questions. My father, or whatever he is, banished Tristan under the reasoning that he was involved in a coup."
"He told me directly that he isn't my father." Sameire's brow furrowed with thought. "But he looks exactly like my father. So now I'm left to wonder what's happened to my real father and who, or what, it is that's impersonating him. It's driving me crazy."
