Well, yes and no. I do agree with the teacher and the mom on certain things. If your not exactly an A+ student, it shouldn't matter as long as you try your best. But there is a limit. You shoudln't take the whole "your parent is proud as long as you try" thing, because if you don't even try to at least put an effort then what's the point?
