"That's comforting to know," Mellodia said. "Aw, don't worry," Xane said. "We can take whoever they send."
"Wonder what the Brotherhood is doing now," Xane asked no one in paticular.
"We have the gummis," Xane explained. "I'm know our armies have a few ship egineers and that they're pretty good with converting different parts to different types of ships. So, all we gotta do is let them convert shp tech into hand held tech. Then we have our own stealth cloaking, EMP wave emitters that jam electrical signals and several sets of plasma bombs for a quick distraction."
"I'm pretty sure all of them won't fight us at once," Xane said. "It might make their world implode or something. As for the stealth mission,they'll know we're coming...but they won't know where we are. See what I'm sayin'? The whole point of the stealth mission is to be stealthy. And we have some tech that can help us with that."
"But, what are they planing anyway?" Xane asked. "If we can't go for an all out attack, than I say we go for a stealth mission. Find out what they're up to. If we run into one of them, we fight him or her. Besides, fighting us all at once isn't the Brotherhood's style. I think we're strong enough to take 'em on one at a time."
"Well, I think Wing and the light users have already volunteered," Xane said. "Kinda."
"Ravakov, Marlene," Xane continued. "I don't even know if Novice is still alive, but since the other survived, he probably did too. I don't even know if that Liam guy is still with them."
"Well, there's no other way really," Xane shrugged. "We have to destroy the Virus and the Brotherhood. Fighting the U.O and their endless armies would slow us down in destroying the Virus."
"I agree with Wing's idea," Xane said. "But here's the thing...I bet the Brotherhood's already prepared for our arrival. I'm not saying we should sit down and strategize or anything. It's too late for that. I'm just sayin' we should be wary."
OOC: One day, I looked us up and we were first, so I'm just guessing it shifts to whichever one has the most hits (or something like that...). BIC: "So, Saak," Xane yawned. "Anything been going on out here?" *** "I think the power's fading," Pharell said, watching the computer systems shut down. "Get ready to switch to reserve power. We still won't be able to communicate, but at least we'll have the surveillance cameras."
OOC: Had to do chores and stuff. BIC: Pharell sat down on the silver tiled floor. "If this continues, we'll be using our reserve power in a few minutes," he sighed. "We're stuck here for now." *** Xane nodded and headed towards the campsite. "We've seen enough to know that their army was massive," Xane said. "The others got a better look than me, though."
"Yo, Saak!" Xane shouted. "Was wondering where everyone else went." *** "There are only three people who have the skills neccesary to hack our systems," Pharell started in an agitated tone. "One them dead, the other in our ally, the Brotherhood's, service, and the last one being a disgruntled ex-Hairis in our own employ. That last one being placed under the command of morons who can't tie their shoe laces without an order from Hairess Skinnar. What were you thinking?! Leaving Lexx of all people in a low level unit that had essentially nothing to do!? Please enlighten me!"
"Yeah, I really can't stand idiots who think they're qualified for the U.P.A," Pharell replied, with heavily veiled sarcasm. "I mean...The U.O." *** "So, what now?" Xane asked. "Chill until all of the EK ships land here?"
BIC: Xane and Mellodia braced themselves for landing. *** "Also, sir," Pharell started once again with Cotaxus. "Has the been any word from Lexx yet? He's been quiet..." OOC; Just playing along with it for now. You know I never actually thought I'd dislike Lexx more than Skinnar, but after a while it appeared that Skinnar wasn't so bad after all and Lexx was the bad guy.
"What? You're saying all of us were born for times like this?" Xane asked.
"See, now that actually sounds pretty good," Xane nodded.
"I'm not sure that that's entirely safe," Xane said. "It's not," Mellodia said. "Even locking the ties between the three universes is disastrous. Remember all of those years ago when some sort of strange darkness was flowing through the land? The universes were sealed up back then, and leftover dark energy was seeping through. In theory, it was actually some form of the Virus that tried to force it's way through to escape...something," Mellodia said. "Later on the universes were suddenly free for anyone to travel to, and no one quite knows why. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is...destroying the universal ties risks something like that happening ever again. "Besides, you think severing the ties is easier than just killing the leaders?" Xane asked. "I don't care how many resources they've got, the U.P.A is screwin' up. You can see it with every move they make. And they're little Alliance with the Brotherhood? it won't last if he Brotherhood finally gets what they want. And we don't even know what that is!"
"Vecked," Xane started. "Let me see if I can get this through to you. We. Will. Not. Lose. So, stop bein' so damn pessimistic," Xane frowned.
"Even if he is on our side, Highwind's...unstable," Xane said. "But, I guess it's like you said. That's probably what makes him best at resisting the power of the Virus." *** "Greetings, Captain Titan!" an officer said, saluted Pharell as he walked towards camp, approaching Cotaxus. Pharell had soon arrived with his fleet destroying many attacking EK-Fighters with their arrival. "Cotaxus," Pharell began. "I've just come back from checking on civilian affairs...They hate us, Cotaxus. They want this wa-...This skirmish to end as soon as possible and they want some sort of statement from Hairess Skinnar. I tried contacting him earlier, but he wasn't taking any calls."
"I was joking, by the way," Xane chuckled, though slightly disturbed by Xardius' weird look. "For the most part, anyway. So, what's on Kanata that we need? Just refuge or more?"
